We do. Fortunately he isn't going to have to keep playing another 11 years for us though.

And you have had so much succ... oh, sorry.

And tell Brodeur to enjoy his 3-4 month vacation from your nets and your plummit right beside us.  At least Isles are rebuilding.

Maybe if they had attiquate emergency services at the new arena they built in that cesspool of an area, he may have been able to ride in an ambulance instead of driving himself to the emergency room.

It's true. That place has horrible emergency services (Four Payphones on one floor, each spread out. Lern2build)

Losing Marty for that long will suck no doubt. It will change the whole season. I only wish you could know what that would be like, losing someone that vital to the team, but since no one on the Isles is that critical it could be hard to relate to.  ;D

Ouch, some nice burns here.  I would like to add that I am amazed how Marty Brodeur can seemingly defy biology and be both an old man, and a little girl, at the same time.

So the devils are looking for a different face between the pipes.....John Vanbiesbrouck maybe?

PS.  Does anyone understand why the rangers have already played 32 games and every other team in the league is floating around 12???

Maybe its like when I ate succotash as a child.  I did not like the lima beans, so I ate them first to save the good part for later so as to enjoy the meal.

P.S. how did the flyers not win until the 7th game of the season and still have more points than the islanders?

Much as I take great delight on dumping upon those who besmirched my Phils and other sporting teams, (and I do love busting your chops on this, Joe), I must state that there is something about being a fan that unless the ownership does something so appalling (You listening, Norman Bramen?) one continues to root for the team.

I was a Phillies fan in the late 50s and early 60s.  I was an Eagles fan through the 60s and 70s as well.  It was not easy.  Joe will have his day again (probably before those CSA war bonds are ever redeemed, but hopefully, not by much).  I say, screw the Islanders, but go Joe.  I've felt your hurt. :)
