Thanks to all of the Staff and the major players involved who contributed to the March festival.

It was nice to have a different spin on the 1 day event and experience a high level of RP, especially from newer players.

Even though I NPCed the festival, I had a blast!  Some high points:

-The awesome chaos runes on our faces.
-Playing Lord Peveril during what was supposed to be the rogue mod.  I especially enjoyed Matt's "compliment" to me about my performance.  Only at KR is being called "poncy" a good thing.
-The First Aid mod, WoW style.
-"That's Chaos!"

I have to give credit to Brendan for reminding me of the great word "poncy" about a year ago, where before then it had long since been left in the dustbin of my memory.

Highlights:
  • Trying to remember how to PC.
  • Failing but enjoying myself anyway.
  • Trying to remember how to fight with an axe and shield.
  • Failing but enjoying myself anyway.
  • Trying to remember how to fight safely with an axe and shield.
  • Failing but enjoying myself anyway. Apologies to my victims.
  • My clever turn as a spy and getting Brendan and I out of what we assumed was going to be the complete destruction of our cover.
  • "Are you Quinarian?" "Yes." "Good." <Lord Birnum and Sir Alexander laugh knowingly> - my brief moment of remembering how to PC.
  • Maria, Cerra, and Craig as their conscripts at dinner. Getting bowed/curtsied to was amusing, until I realized that's technically what should be happening more often. I also enjoyed the way that, as people caught on to their total lack of worldliness, it started sinking in that at least two of our tiles on the map were of no use whatsoever...

Well as my first time fully NPCing an Event I had a blast...

First off hats off to Wally for a great day...And the Coconut Custard Pie!

Julia and Cera (hope I spelled it right) The Makeup was great even if I couldn't keep from accidentally wiping it off...

Hearing "where did you get that bow" one more time

Being armed to the teeth as a chaos warrior...

Annoying Matt white as always...but it worked evenly considering he hit about 9 of us in the face with his axe :)

Having Brendan steal all the NPC costuming for himself

A few will relate to this one...At the end of the night when most peoples skills were spent hearing 50 Mithryl shouted like 8 times...and then realizing oh thats just Matt White...

A great crew of NPC's and thanks to everyone who decided to join in on final mod, aiding in completely rewriting the battles outcome

I had lots of fun this event and finally got to wear my other costume from Moresca at a KR event.  :)

I'm having a tough time deciding if my favorite moment was with a certain pair of insane women messing with the Gin bottle or my total and utter IG and OOG surprise during the in-game arguments over the auction closure.  The RP was soo good that I was stunned into inaction as our front man was cut down before my eyes.  I believe I said out-loud "did that just happen?".  Though, the cherry on top of that moment was looking over at Bob's face, mirroring my reaction but him having stopped eating a cracker half way through with crumbs still on his face.  Sorry Bob, but that was just priceless.    :P

Simon!!!!!!!!!!  The guy is just insane, for those of you who haven't met him, just wait.

Hanging out with all of the black orchid crew was so much fun, and insuing hilarity.

Poor Barak always telling me that I have a problem, after spending a long time disputing that, then telling Barak I had a problem....

Learning I can use magic offensively?!?!?!?!?! Yeah sometimes I just am that dense.

R/P with Dr. West, finally hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel.

All my rp with Zahir, as always he brings new depth and enjoyment to my character, and is constantly making me rethink how I rp, and how I need to evolve and change.

I had lots of fun this event. For some reason i got more exercise for the one day event than did at a whole weekend event, weird but cool.

NPCing all event was awesome. CHAOS WARRIORS! Aleister getting me with a pursue the first time i tried to run away with an oober cool sword, but then getting it anyway right after they killed me.

Doing the makeup was fun!  ;D chaos warrior runes, cooooool.

Feast NPCs, funny! Mat, Maria and Craig, you guys rock.

Wally, cool plot, I had a blast. If you ever need me again I'd be glad to help.

Anytime anyone wants me to do some sort of makeup i'd be glad to help, just let me know.

wally and i would like to thank all our awesome npcs for being fantastic and providing all the costuming and weapons (and for taking the hydro-free gore makeup removal process without all being daves), cera for being a fantastic rune artist as well, the various npc yurts for having such amazing operatic acoustics, and the sign-in rickshaw for being a rickshaw, therein providing me with the rare opportunity to say "rickshaw".

also, i am disappointed in myself for not making that joke, but more so in you, craig, for no apparent reason.

I'd just like to take the time out to thank ALL of the people who NPC'd full time for me...you guys really took a beating and kept at it.  I can't thank you guys enough!!!

I also want to thank a couple of people specifically:

Volk: For managing to make 2 awesome maps in like...3 days.  I couldn't pull that off in 3 months.

Cerra: For doing a large part of the NPC makeup...like 4 times.

Avalon: For coming back to America specifically to help me do makeup and run the plot.

My Father: For endowing me with a masculine chest and also for helping me pick up the slack during the day.

Skimmel and Rob: Because you can never have too many giants.

Craig: For comic relief.  Nothing else.  Just that.

All in all, thanks to everyone who helped out!  If I forgot you in my "Thank You" posts...well, you're in my heart at least.

I'm sure that Charlie was not literally daring Quagz to post licentious pictures on the forum.

The hypersensitivity on these forums has become equally tragic and laughable. Shall we create a spreadsheet of all the logins and everyone can check off the people that they will accept jokes from and assess Rules Violations to the transgressors?

It’s one thing to rebuke someone for an obviously offensive and gratuitous remark, but these days you can get a dog-pile of stern criticism just for cracking a plain vanilla joke at a guy. That is, if the wrong person aims a joke at the wrong other person – the double standards at work are painfully obvious.

When did KR become this maddeningly and irrationally cliquish?

I only took offense to the fact that Craig spoke of my mother, Im sorry but those are fighting word. Since then Craig has apologized and its water under the bridge.

I found nothing insulting about Chucks remarks at all. I happen to think that Charlie is a nice guy and I like reading his posts.

Robb- Who are you to bust on incorrect spelling. This isn't 6th grad English spelling test. Go watch the Colbert report :'(.

I think a lot of people who have known each other from the  game for a long time are quick to give relatively new players a hard time on here.  I know im guilty of it. Believe me I love busting peoples chops. Im quit good at it. But I cant help but notice that every one seems to team up on Charlie.
