August 2013 Highlights! was created by GJSchaller (GJSchaller)
Where to begin...
THE WEATHER. We could not have asked for better weather for August. High Summer, and it was low 80s during the day, and cool at night.
Logistics on Friday night - Geoff: "Just wanted you to know, good luck..." Joe: "We're all counting on you."
Playing Carlos for more than a few hours. It was a pleasant break from the normal IG responsibilities of Gideon.
ALL of the readings!
Watching OOG tears (from IG emotions) roll down JJ's face when she saw her reading.
Doing a card reading for Xod, using my Whimsy Deck.
I didn't get into a single combat as Carlos all weekend, other than a minor skirmish on my way to bed. In fact, I barely called a skill or prayer all weekend. The level of RP was so high, I never needed to.
Gina as Mabel. She may be a little punk, but she's MY little punk. Back off!
The Gypsy Birthday Party!
Clergy Lessons with Ben's NPC. "Malediction!" "I'm capable of taking care of myself." (Vanish!)
Drega'Meeting. "Why wasn't he Minister of Trade yesterday?"
Seeing a Hole Punch on people's cards. That system was an old marker from the Avatar System that Mike Smith and I originally met in, back in 1996, It was amusing as hell to see it in use here.
Sunday as Gideon. Short, but very potent none the less. I was wondering who was going to poke the insanity and get both barrels of Gideon's dementia. Fortunately, Aemorniel was expecting it. To quote Rudolph, "I'd rather see Gideon comatose, than rude."

A huge shout out to Mike Smith for running a very fun event. Thank you!
First highlight was the weather. Not the weather I was expecting for August, it was grand.
The role play was so intense this weekend I had a blast. I spent more time role playing than fighting this weekend and that was a very nice change of pace for my character.
Sitting at a table in the inn and for some reason a felt I had to look over my shoulder and there was Carlos waving his deck of cards my at me. The cards hit the nail right on the head and Jade is terrified for what is to come.
Jade had a bit of a break down this moon. So much going on emotionally. It is very difficult to know things about people and the world and not being able to say anything.
Amazing RP with Tim P this weekend. Finally had some family bonding time. ALL OF THE PLANNING!
Amazing RP yet again with Matt Calo. Always a pleasure. Again, ALL OF THE PLANNING!
Having to be baby sat is finally taking a very large tole on Jade. She is such an independent character that it is beginning to be a burden.
RP with Judge as Ethan. Love it. I actually got asked to be his gaurd and protect him. It really hit home for Jade she thinks very highly of him.
Ethan: (After making an invisibilty ring for someone) "So Jade, which finger is it on?"
Jade: "See magic." (She points at his pinky finger) "That one."
Ethan: "That's cheating!"
HAHAHA
Watching sorcery is sooo much fun. Can't wait til I advance to that.
Jade being faced with a very difficult decision. To stay or to go.
Being able to be the Baroness's body gaurd for awhile. So much fun role playing with Jen W. I learn more and more about her character every time I'm with her.
Actually being political is great.
Finding out that my spirit may not be as red as I thought. Amber is looking more and more like a possibility.
Holy crap Travance and Everest! AT THE SAME TIME!
Oh! I can't forget the intense RP between Danielle S and myself. Way to be a mom Jade. She completely put all of her stuff to the side to focus on her daughter's well being.
CROI MADE ME A SONG!
Last but not least, the Drega group singing me Happy Birthday as we were walking through a portal to the ports.
All in all a good event and my first event as a RP Marshal. What an honor. Can't wait to see everyone again in September!

Highlight: I got assassinated by the Shadow King! Yep, Ox fought toe to toe with him for about 5 seconds. But it was glorious!
Apparently I scared some of the new players on their first trip around town just by having a large silhouette. Sorry.
Shadow King: "Timestop" Edwin: "It doesn't work!" Shadow King: "Oh... alright then".
"I was told that you could help me with ..."
"Valentine.... are you an alchemist?"

Being in charge of making restorative tea for Jonathon Travance was pretty amazing, though his continuous gratitude was even cooler.
Telling IG secrets to characters who I looked up to (and still do) when I first came to game, and finding out they hadn't known them anyways.
Gypsy birthday was amazing, as I expected it to be, although I didn't expect that much food and drink. Thanks to everyone who brought things to the party, it meant a lot to me IG and OOG
Finally learning every single hermetic alchemy recipe.
And last but not least, getting a new alchemist to become my official apprentice! Can't wait for all the fun that should come from that

Pre-game. helping James setup by being given access to fire and power tools. Clearly this LARP was going to be awesome, as I am getting access to all the things that still make my parents and close friends cringe at when I'm 33.
Seconding the weather. I could wear more of my Garb with Grimkjell and was actually COLD for once. Brilliant.
Seeing Geoff having fun was carlos was great, I know he's always doing responsible stuff as Gideon and it makes me smile when other people do.
Watching that handsome new pirate flirting with the Baroness. What a charmer
Watching Hassan beat the daylights out of everyone with just a steel sword and shield. Also, his costuming and makeup was glorious.
Getting whomped repeatedly during the first mod of the game as an NPC. I guess they thought I was actually important because I had the Khorne and nurgle symbol as well as armor and a helmet on. (I was just a minion, but they kept womping me Hilarious.)
Fixing tables and being a grumpy joiner in the Inn, and getting Moira completely suspicious of my NPC as he was fixing the table the baroness sits at. Then giving Elric ashby a stern talking to about busting up tables. (Thanks for the tip carlos. )
Getting randomly attacked by vermin swarms in the inn! That was new and interesting.
Just how beautifully done the Barracks looks.
Seeing Ox's amazing armor. Hearing that everyone is scared of him amused as well.
Morning:
Meeting Johnathan Travance. Finding out in-game a lot of the legends of the town and the truth behind it.
Sadly, most of the rest of the morning is a blur mostly consisting of finding out about the shadow king and the crystals. Grimkjell talking to the baroness about what the low-seasons should do in relation to the assasin school of Knight blades in Londwyn, and accidentally volunteering himself as the organizer of the assault. Grim manages to end up getting responsibility by asking "Who's in charge of X?" This is fast becoming an in game trend.
Being forced to sleep by a Barbarian Priestess in the monastery after setting up an impromptu assembly line for chain mail and other armor with elric Ashby, since many of the usual smiths were absent from the proper, Elric had a back-breaking workload so grim took it upon himself to speed things along. Many jokes about grim passing out in the bed of a woman far tougher than he was.
Afternoon, Going into logistics to trade in some gold to the bank and getting this in the mail. fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-a...9055_173966244_n.jpg

Acting as the Baroness' runner for an important decree.
Visiting the Alisandria/Ostcliff tourney, kneeling before Xod, and watching my dragoon friend win the whole thing after he broke his sword and grim threw him his, like it was excalibur or something. It was an amazing visual in the afternoon sun.
Patrolling the proper and offering an old man an escort to Alisandria, only to find out that the Old man is in fact a Paladin of galladel. having a long and thoughtful conversation about the nature of duty, destiny, and a man's place in things, and having some personal-in game revelations that played out and had a real effect on Grim throughout the weekend and have really altered his personal character arc a lot. Thanks elf paladin dude! Kensington, I think.
Attack on Londwyn! (Hurr hurr)
Watching as a well-organized and hard fighting group of low seasons absolutely rolled the nest of brutes and assassins for great justice. My only wound during that entire attack was an OOG beesting right at the end of the fighting part of the mod. Grim demonstrating how valuable it is to be an Assistant IG as he helped the fighting Physician (can't remember the character name but he's awesome) and him work to revive Johnathan Travance after he nearly bleeds himself dry of strength making psioninc shifts from Londwyn to Travance. Grim bringing Johnathan back to the inn with the physician, seeing the well-organized response to Johnathan's illness, and then meeting everyone from klarington Everest to a bunch of White sorcerers as grim, acting as runner for the town, does something a Barbarian never normally does. On instructions from Everest, grim voluntarily comes to the Mage guild. a big moment, leading up to another large moment of character development after the feast. Exhausting myself utterly by sprintingup and down the proper like a real runner, and even stripping down to just my tunic and brawlers with no armor and sword because of the exigency of the situation. Things had gotten REAL by this point.
Spending the rest of the time leading up to feast passed out on a picnic table, waking up briefly to murder an attacking goblin that had been chased into a corner and then left, menacing and snarling.
Learning Berserker's rage in the most awesome way possible from Billiam, thus turning grim into Billiam's cheering section forevermore. (It helps that billiam beat up a mage immediately on exiting the abyss.)
Trying hard to find a mentor for master warrior and having good roleplay with all involved (Thanks Tobar, Orin, and Rayven), even though it ended in something of a failure. (Everyone had a student or couldn't teach)
Delicious, delicious feast, eating as a family with Aella, caldor, and xod, with added friends like Hassan and our loveable pirate
The best Mass i've ever attended IG. The visiting Bishop and the mother of the goddess of love talking were particular highlights.
Forming up for the final assault on the Shadow King north of Pendarvin. Talking to the baroness about battle-strategy, and getting volunteered by Augustus to be the hammer carrier. Thanks Guard bro. No pressure
Swallowing my Pride as a barbarian and asking Haraldson for magical protection, because failure would have been too terrible to contemplate.
Having a talk with Oren about pride and doing the right thing.
Wonderful discipline during main mod as enforced by the Baroness, and a smart strike team made up of people grim really enjoys playing with, special mention to the fighting physician and Aelyira. (I'd mention caldor but if Grim DIDN'T love working with his brother then that'd be notably weird.)
Giving Aelyira the hammer as a tricksy deception for double agents during main mod. A sensible precaution since we kept getting hit with assassins. (Or assasinators from an infamous gangdom, for those who get the reference.) Realizing your brother is having nightmares when he's thrashing around while sleep poisoned by said assasins.
Watching the Shadow King stalk around the field of the main mod, fighting hard and looking like Sauron. Great job NPC GUY. Watching Billiam pummel everything was also fun, and so was watching quan lu whoop some butt and get into it in the field. I'm so used to seeing him cooking I forgot what a tough dude he is.
Smashing with the assault team into the long (super long) corridor leading to the last crystal of the Shadow King, and a brutal, close range brawl which erupted, as Hassan stood forth and unleashed glorious murder like a truly inspiring warrior. Aelyria's blades of victory were also amazing, and grim himself cut many threads as well.
After that: the most heroic use of windwalker I've ever seen, as Aelyria pulls grim with him through the line of our foes, as our brothers and sisters smash into them, and go for the heart of the problem. Finding the crystal, and bringing the hammer down upon it, cutting the Shadow King's thread with grim's hand and the Hammer of light. He owes Aelyria forever, and... soon repays her with a private favor (Keep your minds out of the gutter)
Giving up a VERY useful and powerful magical item entirely for roleplay reasons. And feeling really good about it
Returning to the apparent approval of the baroness. (Though grim only heard it secondhand, having busily trying to avoided taking any credit for the fight at all while Tobar was asking a lot of probing questions.)
Being told by Tobar grim will one way or another have a master warrior teacher after all... well, someday, anyway. It would seem he earned it in the eyes of Travance, at least by some accounts.
A lot of celebratory drinking, then some important legal matters being discussed with the Seneschal that shall no doubt be important guard plot for the next moon. (Well, possibly anyway)
Let's just skip until late morning for various and sundry reasons that are entirely to do with an OOG car lock, haha.
Making friends with Johnathan Travance, and finding out that your character not only broke a crystal to save him, but apparently also was responsible for the death of the Shadow King himself. That may be the most important thread Grim the battle Tailor ever cuts.
Getting a letter from the monster marshal while in logistics to pick up some money for Gin Yuki. Acting as a messenger once more, seeing the inside of Winterdark after severalmonths of wondering. Meeting the baroness again, and seeing her reaction the letter.
A sad goodbye to Johnathan Travance, and saying my favorite Barbarian farewell, "Until next winter" which is how barbarians say farewell to soemone who is dying or going away for a long, long time. Telling Travance the secret of what HJOLDA! actually means.
Standing up the the clergy of light as I dragged off a corrupted Valosian to jail, the IG drama of grim having to ignore the wishes of his friend Rayven in the service of the Law, justice, and the orders of the seneschal were amazing. The insights I got into Grim's internal morals and ethics were interesting, and he had a very Javert-esque or Judge Dredd-esque aspect to him at that moment as I tossed the Valosian into the slam.
The bittersweet goodbyes to all my friends.
This was my favorite game yet for IG reasons, though I had a miserable OOG period from 12-3 AM sunday morning due to my car, the game itself was fantastic and so well written plotwise. I was enthralled and it brought grim to life like never before. My only IG regret is not seeing Aella and Caldor more.
Being freaked out by seeing the ever calm and kind Gideon flipping out on Aemorniel

This event was astounding. Just simply astounding. Also Grim I was that physician!
Friday Night - Maybe 30-45 minutes after lay-on I have to use Bind wounds a skill I've never expected to actually use. Ended up heading down to the bard thing as everyone was departing. Also ended up using Set Limb twice, gotta love assistants. The first blood tranfusion. I had walked in on it halfway through and helped where I could, mentally taking note of the procedure as it was something my character was already looking into as cures for other ailments.
Catching up on what I've missed the two moons I was gone.
Friday NPC shift 2-6am: First getting sent out as a horde of ogres which was besides myself consisted entirely of first-mooners. Our first stop? Alisandria. As we charge in Kor((?) I believe the orc with the awesome mask.) steps outside and Bam command goblinoid command goblinoid chaotic alteration Chatoic alteration. Next stop was Pendarvin where when we moved in Sylus dominated the Warlord and we basically got cut down.
We got sent out as oozes next. This was seriously one of the best moment of the event. We lied in ambush between the monastery and Pendarvin. Apparently our stealth skills were awesome as we ambushed almost 4 seperate groups. Two of them really stood out though. The first was just a lone PC. We surrounded him then:
PC: Roundhouse Break Limb
Npcs: No effect.
PC: ......Wait what?
And the other we actually ambushed the Baroness and Sir Cinder. When we came out all we heard was Cinder yell: OH S***! and backpeddle like crazy before thoroughly thromping us.
Saturday Morning: Mostly just an easy morning catching up with characters I hadn't seen.
Low Season Mod: It was fantastic. Just Fantastic. Meeting Johnathan Travance as we headed to the Baroness' Manor before portalling to Londwyn. Hacking through assassin trainees only to get dropped unluckily and almost killing blowed by our side. Walking back out after the crystal shattered only to here them calling for a physician. I get there to see Johnathan on the ground and move into action. I was exceptionally glad I had learned Bind Wounds at WitL. Nothing like healing someone for hundreds of body, even if it takes 5 minutes with an assistant.
Post-Lowbie Mod: As soon as we got back to the Inn taking charge of getting the transfusion set up and stepping back once everything was moving along. Getting sent to go find lower seasoned people who had yet to go on a mission to destroy any of the crystals. Finding only one person at the time who didn't go. Offering myself and Grimjkell to the mission and getting accepted. Walking outside and immediately hear people calling for a physician from the Monastery and helping to heal the faith of a Priest of Valos.
Feast: Delicious as always and PEACHES.
Pre-Main Mod: Most of this time was spent running around finding and making healing salves, finding two people who hadn't been touched by the crystals, getting the strike team buffed up and ready to roll, learning our precise role in the mission with Grimjkell, and discussing tactics and possible repercussions with Johnathan. Somehow I found the time to attend mass and become baptised.
Main-Mod: Incorporating the buddy system in the strike team and seeing the group work well together. Hassan and shield-boy ( I'm sorry I never learned your name)were awesome as was Aelyria and Caldor. Nalik (I remembered it finally!) and Trisana also really helped to round out the group. Getting sleep poisoned as someone who can fix it is frustrating. Carving our way to the crystal and holding off the enemy for Aelyria and Grim to shatter it. Holy crap protections are amazing.
Upon returning to the group Tobar asking for a report and detailing the fight to him espousing the strength and valor of Grimjkell and the others. Tobar promising Grim a teacher and wondering if I got him in trouble.
Buying rounds for the group then dun dun dun legal issues.
Getting told by numerous people that we did an awesome job.
Heading out to Londwyn again this time with Master Silverbow.
Helping Pluvius search for 3 or 4 hours for a new healer who had gone missing. Finding him safe in his bunk as he had wandered down to Alisandria and was there almost the entire time.
Not Sleeping YAH!
Sunday: Not much time was spent In-game as I had work later today.
Talks with the Seneschal about stuffs and ideas. Quietly surprised that He and myself agreed on quite a few matters.
Saying farewell to Johnathan after the missive. Vowing to become stronger and more adept and hoping to see him again.
I know I'm missing so much more but that's what 40 odd hours awake will do to you. I'm still kind of speechless.

WHOA. That is really a huge part of what I can say about this event. Honestly, it was awesome! Mike Smith, thank you so much for running such a great event!
Highlights:
-Weather
- Seeing and chatting with friends I haven't seen in awhile, and meeting others.
- Overlooking the fact that Kor was a goblinoid. Yay for trying to NOT be prejudiced!
- Playing a minion NPC and a brute NPC.
- Slinking behind the front lines during main mod and tossing ALL my Chaotic Alterations. Thank you SO much to the NPC that ended up taking them and the Fear. ;
- Drinking.
- Role playing the Blurry Vision insanity. THAT was really fun and the talk with Gwen about a few of my others.
- Using Verrill as a weapon against a HUGE worm monster just because. Also, being taken by said monster worm and traveling underground just to be spat back out and tossed away. Awesome!
Fantastic event! Again, thank you to everyone for making it so much fun!
Note: If I spelled a name wrong, or anything, I apologize for that ;;

Sadly, i was only around for about 10-11 hours the event. However, I really enjoyed the time there.
Right off the bat there is something quite wonderful about having people excited to see you when you arrive late. Thanks to everyone IG and OOG for making me feel so welcome.
Passing out my first batch of Ice Wine was fun. I'm glad everyone liked it so much.
I squeezed a lot of lessons into the morning, both learning and teaching. My favorite lesson to teach? "How to just walk up to people and say Hi". I even included the advanced version "Making friends through Booze"
guiding Xod around the Proper was fun, as always. He sang songs and played his recorder for many. He was particularly happy that the Baroness paid him such personal attention. It made my day when she asked him if there was anything he truly wanted here, and he said "no, I'm just having fun". He also loved getting his fortune told by Carlos.
Coming across a wounded Dryad, and discovering her grove had been destroyed sparked something in Caldor. This is the sort of thing he seeks to prevent happening and the kind of person he feels strongly the need to help. Whe she woke and fled, I chased along side of her, trying to calm her down and talk to her. I spoke with her when she melded with a tree for a while... and gave her some drudic Germination and some Barbarian booze (well, I poured it on the tree). Hopefully she will come to Wife and I for help at some point.
Watching a friend of mine win the fighting tourney was great! My wife winning the archery portion by default was less exciting... but a win's a win!
Very excited to see Hassan (sp?) traveling with James fairweather. That's a group Caldor's happy to be friends with. I did almost have to attack James, however, due to his poorly chosen pauses.
James: "Hey Caldor, I entered your wife,"
LONG PAUSE
Me: "YOU DID WHAT???"
James, laughing "into the tournament"
the Low level mod was fun, even if we did steam roll it a bit and it will cost me a steak in real life. Poor, Poor Jason. If there are any vital or particularly painful portions of the body he did not get hit during that mod, I would be surprised. Caldor did very little during the mod, but was able to heal many when the shadow stone broke. Helping Jonathan Travance get healed and back to the Inn.. .and then helping with a type of healing Caldor knows nothing about were fun. I really should get Assist for him.
Feast was delicious and fun. I REALLY like sitting outside to eat, and the group that sits outside is a LOT of fun.
Prepping for main mod was interesting. Caldor is SO proud of his brother for being in charge of the strike force.
Throwing a drink in Grim's face when Caldor found out that Grim voluntarily took MAGIC protections to prepare for the strike force. Regaining his faith in his brother when Grim paid for said drink, knowing it was going to be thrown in his face.
Mass... oh mass was wonderful. I've always enjoyed them, but this month's was particularly grand because clergy of ALL of the faiths spoke and made it magical. Xod was moved enough to become baptized, though I was truly surprised by what god he chose. The decorations chosen this month for the Mass alter may have long term and deep effects on Caldor's development. It may have been a random decision of the people who set it up, but it tied deeply into story that has been growing for 2 or 3 events for Caldor.
Main mod was fun. The setup was bad for archers, so it was good Wife stayed with Xod and Klyden. The strike force was working extremely well together. I'm proud of all of you. Brother, Aelyria, Shield Buddy, Hassan, Tris, Doc, and Nal were great. A particular nod to Aelyria for the windwalker strategy - really inspired. Also, a massive tip of the hat to his shield buddy (Caldor CANNOT remember his name yet, sorry) and Hassan. You did a fantastic job of keeping our perimeter and always being right where we needed you. Great job.
Post mod trying to help with the priestly healing of JT. Caldor so wants to be a healer of big things like that... and he will find a way to become able to do it.
Sadly starting to wind up to head home kicked in at that point, so I said some goodbyes.
Great to see everyone, and I can't wait for next event where I will be there the whole time.

This was a role-play heavy event for me and I loved it!!!
Friday night I played the Gypsy mother that was responsible for reading the nursery rhymes and for calling up and evil eyeball demon. Oh, my goodness what fun. I heard that, as I was chanting out by the portal, someone said, "She's chanting isn't she?" "This is going to be bad." or something similar to that. The fighting was awesome. I was arrested and taken for questioning! Really awesome roleplaying!!! Thanks to Cree (?), Victor, Mother Merica and Tobar for stopping Zallara (sorry to the PC, it was the first name that popped into my head) from being the hateful angry thing she was. There was so much kindness and compassion! You guys were really great!
Saturday: Market Faire- the first time I have run out of crafting points. I think I insulted Everest because Maralas had no idea who he was when he sat down to ask for some Sleepless Jade Tea. Oops! I did get the tea made and handed off to Johnathan Travance. Then being called to participate in the ritual to forge the hammer of light. It was very cool!
Feast was good if a little late. I finally got to spend some time with the Baroness, only to be thwarted by fighting in the distance. After feast, hanging out in the inn was fun. Carlos did a reading for Maralas . . . "This is going to be a dark reading and I apologize for that." is how it began. Shudder. Maralas has a lot to consider.
After that, chatting with Sir Dr. Maxwell and Aemorniel was really great. My favorite part was the "what is evil?" question. Great RP! Thanks!!!! Then participating in the exorcism ritual for Johnathan Travance and the Shadow King's corpse was fun. It was really intense for me and at one point, I had chills.
Sunday, it was really great to finally get some time with the Baroness. It was a really good morning conversation. I only wish that we had a few more hours to chat . . . or days . . . or weeks!
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this a great event. Even though I suffered from a lack of sleep, it was still tons of fun!

Originally I wasn't supposed to come to this event to get ready for moving but was really glad I did. Mike--this event was awesome. I'll admit it was a nice respite from having constant demon stuff going on.
~entering Travance to have the best back up bodyguard assigned to me (Orion) and joking "I'm his bounty" whenever he tried explaining to people why he couldn't leave my side. It was nice getting to interact with you IG for a longer period of time than "hello".
~Royce's return and Jonathan's appearance. I wanted to attend to Jonathan, knowing of his parasite and wanting to meet the man I had researched about and admired for quite some time but being dragged off by the Baroness to sit in on her interview with Royce was tough but knowing and gathering what information he had to give was most important at that moment.
~Klarington making an appearance so he could help attend to Jonathan and being told what we had to do to stave off the parasite's affect on him for a time. I was nervous about the blood letting and transfusion because it was the first time I had done a major procedure without Maxwell by my side but I hope I rose up to the occasion well. It was so interesting to see all these different classes of people working together to get him at least well. I was glad to head the transfusion again later that next day before feast, much more confident, but man were the tensions of people high in that small cramped space. James/Charming, it was fun to work with you as part of Team Doctor.
~Feeling strongly protective of Jonathan for many reasons whether it be as a doctor, a friend, an admirer, and a priestess of Chronicler. Her main focus of all else, no matter what, knowing that he must survive. As such, I found myself getting to enjoy a lot of time with one of my favorite people (Mike Smith) for a good portion of the event which I never get to do. It was wonderful. You are such a great inspiring speaker--I can see why you became a teacher. Also, I always enjoy your witty puns.
~Private meeting in the barn to deal with the shadow stones. A great team if I do say so myself. I love Expert IDing and doing research with Mike because of his experience of playing a scholar himself so he knows the rules and the way to make it fun. Sir Slack, Amizar, and I being the only people linked to two stones--a serious matter for when they were destroyed but that was resolved and I didn't almost die from it.
~Helping Marshal a mod for Mike and setting up the site and NPCs so he didn't have to trudge around the camp as he was overheating. I really had fun.
~My card reading with Carlos. Just beforehand I had spoken of how he broke me a year ago the last time I let him do that and decided to tempt fate. Most importantly she wanted to see if her far future had changed at all. Clearly it hadn't and freaked my PC out beyond belief that tears started flowing. Such good RP with that. Also--way to go cards for breaking the Clark Kent rule by having Gideon appear in my cards also finally getting the sign to pick up a lesson I should have started ages ago.
~Jonathan requesting me to sit in on his card reading with Carlos and letting that information sink in. Also passing the motto rule of WWOD with not telling the Baroness anything about the reading and her part in his story because Aemorniel knows well enough how she'd constantly second guess her decisions after that and most importantly--she didn't ask.
~Teasing my brother I was married now I was wearing Carlos' cloak.
~Malediction/Wield Faith tag team lesson with Carlos from the Bishop of Light. Ben--all your light clergy members subtlety say "I don't hate you for being neutral but I am clearly judging you" without saying it and it makes me laugh. Geoff you scared the crap out of me when you called Vanish after I used Malediction on you. So good!
~Jonathan wanting the exorcism in the Inn because "that's where all important things should happen". Put a twist in some light clergy knickers but what he wants, I made sure he got. Him restored was so satisfying and rewarding.
~Sitting in on Kleidan's signing of the Witch Hunter Master book. I was requested, my Hunter name made official by the masters, and being declared the scribe for the school. I was completely blind sided by this but was happy when they said they may as well just make me a hunter already at this point.
~Late night scholar meeting with Klarington. I knew the end but not the beginning. Some of the information does not sit well with my PC but there is nothing to do but see where this course of history will go.
~Assisting a lyric of translation lesson by writing in a language the two bards didn't know and then feeling like a jerk when the Baroness sat in on the lesson and overheard what I actually wrote. The look of surprise on her face, though usually my favorite thing to see, made me turn several shades of pink as she teased me about the message gently.
~Gideon's dementia fit and me triggering it by being a fashion snob on purpose as I was working to cure it. Much thanks to Rudolph for pacifying him before he got too violent. It was oddly touching being on the other end of that and being the one holding out my hand for Gideon and seeing so may parallels between us. He really is like a brother to her.
~Jonathan having to go was really tough. It took a lot of self control to hold back the tears I could feel building up as I went to say my goodbye. I will keep that promise and hope one day I can give you that tour I promised you.
~All the new students. Holy cow. Pleased. Very very pleased but wow.
~almost having a probably intense debate with the Bishop when he kept saying "a man who watches evil and does nothing is comparable" to me. I finally asked him in reply: "what is evil?" followed by "but by whose perception of evil?" when he gave an answer. Carlos interceded before the debate really could get rolling but I think Osred would have been proud. I loved having the discussion on it with the Baroness' cousin played by Rebecca as well. It was fun to see the similarities and differences between the two handmaidens and understanding their purposes and how these two strong women could say no to the Baroness if they had to.
~Last but not least--Marketfaire as Kathleen. I was so proud of so many people as I went about selling wares. Lots of great RP on both sides. I loved getting to meet people as this character who I know so well as Aemorniel and see the differences in interactions. I'd forgotten how much I love telling stories so this character has let me run wild with that and I love it.

He we go, I had a blast this event finally being able to come back from the Abyss a changed man.
1. Getting thrown out of the Abyss through a chaos orb. Immediately going into catonic fits, thnking I was still in the Abyss reliving the horrors. Then followed immediately by Temperamental and finding Silverbow's voice and questions annoying enough for me to fly off the handle. Then the survivor/rabid animal eating and drinking in the inn. Who ever gave me the first bottle I could see his fear and like an animal attacked him for it.
2. The wounds/make up Maxine did were amazing. I wanted to look like I had been fighting for a year without respite. Peoples various reactions were awesome.
3. Not actually finding out what was going on till saturday morning cause billliamm was recovering and adjusting all night friday.
4. Late night/ early morning making fun of people/joking
5. Billliamm's over protectiveness of Aquene cause she saved his life so much in the Abyss
6. Mage guild meeting and Billliamm being to honest and opinionated. Maybe a little to much and probably not helpful cause of being crazy
7. Billliamm's constant joking about gaining a reputation and scaring demons. When in reality he just became cruel and terrible. It ate at him and his confession with Mother Sister Quin
8. Fun times with the baroness and her faerie pow wow
9. Fighting the shadow king. It was awesome to get to rp all his horrible damage he did to me. And also all the ultra violence I got to throw at him.
10. Late night talks with a 400yr old 5yr old child

I can't believe I forgot singing with Rowan! My PC is a very reluctant performer though she is a bardic scholar so it was fun to finally sing at feast because of the strong connection to the song I had sent Teresa a while back to take a look at arranging and what Aemorniel was feeling was the message Jonathan Travance was trying to tell the town--unity and strength together. We did great for having never practiced it together before except the little run through to hear the music with the lyrics just before feast. I'm really glad people liked it.

I was only on camp for a few hours this month, but you all made it totally worth the drive. Thanks for everyone who participated in my sunday morning lesson, especially Norm, the man with the plan.
Joe, you were great helping me with my card issues.
Thank you Luis for putting a blanket over me when I passed out in a chair. It's the little things.
And Zach, you are the hero of my weekend for making sure I was not stranded in Sussex county on a workday.
Hopefully next time I'll be able to stick around!

Yet another exciting event! However, some of the most memorable things happened when I wasn't my character.
-Being an "adult kitanese death worm" was a terribly good time. I am still sore from the over abundance of body points being removed from it, though.
-being in the front of an orc warband and having the gobbos come screaming out from behind me was hilarious. Steamrolling though small groups of 3 and 4 made the whole experience that much more fun.
- 9! 9 Pesmergas! Ah ah ah!
Can't wait until the next one!

Friday:
*Viktor's first encounter with the living fairytales ended with watching Dimitri take down a fellow Rom who was led astray. Viktor was the first to acquire the book, lifting it off the body of the gypsy summoner and fleeing to the inn as the battle was raging on. Before handing the book to Tobar and Cree, Viktor read a story about a foolish boy who left his home to learn about fear.
*Talking down the hysterical and bereaved Romani woman with a call of Charm and a lot of help from kindred. Before she was turned in, Viktor gave her his tambourine as part of his promise to restore her and her late son's peace of mind. Wonder if he'll get it back anytime soon...
*Viktor asked Dimitri to teach him the Death Curse, but when he was told what it took to cast it, he was left daunted and reflective. Any attempt to recall the worst moments of his life provoked a surge, so Viktor quit early in the night....
*Help up by Brigands on the way to Ostcliffe. Luckily he only lost a Luxury, though he did not appreciate the bandits poking at his mask. Thanks for escorting me Toad, and sorry you had to lose your gold for nothing.
*Thanks to Jason Popelsky's Londwyn Lawyer for reporting to me more than once this weekend! Not only was he helping Viktor with his legal problems, but on top of that he would speak for the Grieving Romani NPC as well! Out of game, that is the sign of a committed roleplayer, and in-game its the sign of a dutiful and kind Lawyer. Glad to have you around in this upside-down proper was fight for! Also neat to see someone else suffering from the Nightmare Insanity, especially in front of a pair of confused low-level players, speaking of nightmares...
*Sleeping in an Ostcliffe tent...And surging at eight in the morning thanks to Nightmares of the Inverted Tower. I expected to pull an AoE Surge and hitting everyone bunking with me, but instead I fell into a berserker rage, smacking one Vassal for absolutely no damage and getting Pacified from behind by "The Dante". The moments after were Surreal: Vassal of Ostcliffe conversing as the Thrush wandered confusedly around the field he had thought was the Inverted Tower. I heard from someone that Tobar took the fall for Viktor's little accident. Thanks again!
Saturday:
*The Thrush was in Travance for two hours at most. He casted static on some object to alleviate his boredom, though no one was a sucker.
*Help.
*Cool seeing Augustus asking if Viktor needed help. He'll be keeping that in mind. Professional Gambling sounds tantalizing. Here's to more encounters in the future, Justin!
*The Bloody Stump Tournament. Won one, lost twice, felt crummy because of it. Sorry for gypping you Reese, and not speaking up when I knew you acquired the third hit before I did! I almost got away with it.
*I won one match, so I was given sweets at the Gypsy party, as promised by Geoff OOG. The weekend so far had been horrible for Viktor and the Thrush, but it was thanks to all the gypsies attending that they were able to cope with their grief and bitterness. Thanks go to Isolandria in particular, who Viktor sat with at the baronial feast. Her attitude made Viktor feel appreciated and cared for while keeping his mind off his mistakes.
*"How do you bake with a hammer," asked Jericho, flatly.
*"I was chased by a twenty. Foot. Lizard!" so paraphrase Gin Yuki, calling out to someone as he stood on the tavern steps.
*Combating the giant worms. None of Viktor spells were effective, not even his Fiery Vengeance, so he did the only things he knew he could and Hexed the Great Worm to release a warning cry before breaching the earth. The Mod itself was really fun, the NPCs playing the worm were unsettling, especially from a distance, where their mimicked undulating to great effect. Very silly things happened on this mod, in both a technical and in-game aspect, such as the Great Worm being revived and immediately upheaving the poor saps circling its once motionless body, only to be immediately answered with a psionic coup de grace (not in a game mechanics sense, mind you!) The marshals on the mod called a hold so the players could reenact the scene and capture its awesomeness without all those silly rules clarifications getting in the way.
*"And you, stop doing what you are doing. Actually, no, keeping doing it, because it is hilarious" -Zipeto's NPC on the worm mod.
*The players on Worm Mod had to race for extra treasure. On your mark...Get set....Dust Devil, answered with Requiem of Bound Fate fifty feet behind the starting line! Absolutely glorious, thank you so much Emmerson for taking the spell like a champ and laughing off the sabotage.
*Generous loans offered to Viktor by Sergei and Boryev, as well as pep talk between Rom before Main Mod. Felt like a brother amongst kindred and not a liability...Though I suppose it helps that they are not aware of my accident proneness.
*A blood pact with Boryev. It is moments like these that add suspense to the game, and thrust responsibility on players without necessarily needing a position of authority. Viktor wants to say he won't let Boryev down, not after feeling like a part of a family for the first time in a while.
*Learning to Death Curse part 2. I never expected Viktor to gather all the conviction he needed to inflict the death curse over the course of one night. i have a bad feeling about all this.
*Watching Carlos give Tarot Readings to Gadje. "I hope I learn my past life was cool!" Whoever it was who dropped that line, please step forward so I can give you props.
Sunday:
NPC shift and then lay off. I was a commoner first, and then a Valos Excommunicatus led astray by a covert Malycite. It was alright, though I apologize for both being late to the shift and resorting to a southern twang for the commoner character.
Good game, everybody! Hope to see you all again next game.

I have to say, I am floored at how much fun I had this weekend! So to Mike, Luis, James, the NPC's, Staff, Marshals, Kitchen crew, and whomever I failed to mention, thank you for all of your hard work. Also, a huge shout out to everyone on / involved with Sunday Mod. I had an absolute blast
As many of you know, I brought my cousin to this past event for her first LARPing experience ever. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am to everyone who went out of their way to make her a part of the community, and especially those who took the time to speak with her mother when she came to see what we are all about. I have always maintained that Knight Realms is full of the most extraordinary people, and thanks to you all she had an incredible time and cannot wait to come back.
It was awesome to play with you all again, and I'm super excited to see what Kristen has planned for next month. See you all in September!

I was only able to play for a couple hours but it was great seeing everyone. The highlight of my time was RPing with several strangers at the inn during main mod. To THE LAWYER, MAJOR SHINNY SHIRT, KANSAS THE ELF, FURRY FEET, and anyone else who took part in our shenanigans. Thanks for the good times

It was so nice to talk to everyone again. it felt good to get away. Lets see if I can remember what happened.
So Dominic got a certain lesson this month that he has no idea actually happened and when he does figure it out, well lets just say it will be one of the more rare times when Dominic will completely freak out over something.

Highlights.
Where to start? In reverse order, because I'm odd like that. And so many other ways. Of course, for every highlight I put in, there will be a few that I miss. For those that I miss, my apologies. I adore you all and had a wonderful time with each and every one of you.
Sunday:
Poseur Travance Mod:
It didn't quite go off as expected but it still went off ok.
The crime scene went quite well, will crime procedural again.
When A-Rod, I mean Morwenne, decided to try to steal home, I mean, slide in to stop the ritual I had to really work to not wave my hand and shout "SAFE"!
Thank you to Matt Calo for NPCing Peter. We simply must do this again.
All the NPCs were awesome. Thanks Gannon for the walking fight all the way back to the Inn.
Btw, you had to break the thread, Steve. You just had to do it.
Saturday:
Hanging with the Bishop and learning to be a priest. Totally sweet.
Kleiden's last witch hunter lesson. This was part one of a big realization for my character.
Seeing her be sworn in as a Belmont. This was the second and final part of said realization.
My character realizing that he can never be a master witch hunter.
Getting a message from a sprite. One of these days I will "get" sprite mime communication. Saturday was not that day.
After main mod getting a big time personal thank you from Jonathan Travance and then after that getting a consult in regards to a horribly dangerous case I'm working from him and Seamus.
A good conversation with Solomon Darkheart.
Friday:
It was wonderful to see everyone after a month off.
Hanging out with Augustus.
Seeing J. Travance.
Resolving some disputes
More things I can't think of at the moment.

I have to say this event was the most fun I have had in a very long time. Everyone that Val interacted with was amazingly nice and great to be around and he got quite the chuckle out of being called Little Shiku. A lot of time was spent hanging out with Byron and he ended up learning to use a Pole Arm from him. He also began to take a liking to Blue (Raquel's Alt) because of her i don't care attitude. And Main mod he was supposed to go in with the lower levels but instead ended up with the higher levels on the front line and held his own alongside Keavy, Byron, and Reese. A very proud moment for him. I can't thank all those who ran this event enough it was great for his development and I can't wait to see all of you next month

I like Mike's weekends, as there is always a cerebral component. Well run, as I expect nothing less from you.
The Statehouse was IG the entire weekend, with only a pair of sunglasses and a pack of cigarettes being left out, and they were in the back shelf hidden from view.
Sorcery: I set a personal best for sorcery rituals attempted and completed 14/14. To paraphrase Napoleon, I'd rather have sorcerers who are lucky than good. Hot with the dice, with one exception I could have added any two of my rolls and still passed. Please do not hurt me, Norm or Geoff. Somewhere, the law of averages is waiting.
When doing an attunement for Annora as a favor to Solomon, seeing the look on Karen's face when I spoke the ritualistic words. OK, so I used the blessing uttered upon taking the Torah from the Ark. As she said, you go with what you know.
Research: Despite what many think, Edwin is primarily a scholar. I might as well move in with Oros for awhile.
Although I read Hawking's book, "A Brief History of Time," I heard the Arawyn version from Klarington Everest. Those of you who missed the Mages' Guild meeting missed a nice example of James tossing the Taurus fecal matter extemporaneously in a very entertaining manner.
The acting magistrate bringing someone to me to have a sword re-enchanted, as the original enchantment had expired. When asking such a favor, the owner of the sword cannot expect things to go well when his opening remarks, by necessity, starts "I want to apologize for the way I behaved with you last month."
At main mod, someone calls out "Where is Arden" to which I replied, 15 feet up the line." I then heard "Not that one, I want the cute one."
Ben's Benediction is destined to go down as a classic. Rowan was caught with a slice of buttered bread almost in her mouth when part one of four ended, Salty was highly amused, and MB kept looking down at her plate, but from the table behind I could see her lips curling up. Al that I needed to hear was either "Mahwige" or Wuv, twue wov..." and I would have completely lost it, but I was thinking that the entire time.
Much teaching: Sorcery lesson for Cypher, after seeing him eat the obligatory piece of scrapple. Ditto for Arch Casting with Rudolf. Left them with much about which to think, which is how I like it.
I saved my energy for main mod and was quite active. Hitting the Shadow King with three Blades and a few Rend Limbs is a way to get his undivided attention . Sean simply bulled into me and I physically jacked him up, which was quite satisfying and survivable particularly as Rayven was nearby with a good store of Divine Restorations. Being a big guy (someone told me that now know what David and Goliath would have looked like if David had stood up to Goliath) he knows exactly how much contact to make. Unfortunately, no matter what I did, he could reach over my shield. OTOH, there was no way he could stop me from hitting him low. Let's hear it for Multiple Defiant Covers.
In a break when he was walking away: Me "You get some juicy NPC roles." Him: "If by juicy, you mean I get to be hit by 100 people, yeah."
Used an ability on a pledge item for the first time since I received it several months back. When one needs a knife, one better have it.
This will come as no surprise to any, but I have gotten really good with Insults.
After Billium was dropped, receiving permission to take his place as one of the three skirmishers.
Library discussion with Rudolf. The Baroness has learned what Edwin considers to be the most essential part of governing. Delegating authority to those ho know how to use it.
Stating aloud, and in Augustus' hearing, that Travance has arrived as a modern Barony, as we have both sycophants and courtiers rolled into one.
Learned three new lores.
Working with Lucius and the Guildmaster to gentle the shock for Jonathon Travance. A brief, but informative conversation with the latter. I have, by design, little social intercourse with Joe IG, and it was actually an IG pleasure to work with him on the matter.
So much RP with so many others. IF not mentioned, you all are indelibly imprinted on the gestalt of my Event.
So tired after the event that I did not record my character changes or do the laundry, though it was put in the washer.
ACK I misplaced this in the swiss cheese of my brain - Zellara and I explaining the nuances used by women as Cypher is absolutely clueless.
Cypher: "How do I know if a woman is interested?"
Me: "Zellara, give him your give him your come hither look." She does, and it was impressive. "Now give him your go wither look." Equally impressive.
Me again. Now, Sir Jack, which would you say was an invitation to further discourse?"

Again, I would like to thank my friends OOG, you are truly wonderful and entertaining people and you make me happy
My highlights begin with getting there super early and being able to help out setting up and cutting yarn for traps, etc. I know I didn't do much, but being able to help KR run smoothly is a great honor. This game is amazing and I want to see it prosper!
Soren, (if I'm messing up your name, I'm sorry) on friday night, thanking me for being so willing to help those newer than me out and get them into the game made me smile sooooo big! I really love all the new players...you're just so fun to mess with
Hanging with Gus and Kayla and going to a grocery store in-garb to buy foods for the tournament. (Yay Loony for your win, you handsome man)
Finally meeting Boryev! Shane, your character is amazing and he makes me very happy to interact with!
Gypsy party was quite wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food selection made me very happy. Falafel chips, Turkish Delight, Blood Orange (and other flavors of) drink being my favorites!
Finally getting some private time with Tobar made Zellara very happy! Again, please don't fff up
Getting some *ahem* job offers...Jamie Jung as my witness Enough people are asking Z why she hasn't danced in Travance that this will be explored soon, I promise
After-feast talk with WW and Everest and wine. Blockus, talking to you is always fun
Telling people about Khadja...Petition for Jasmine to buy an actual pet goat to bring to game?
Her talk with Cypher on the beach was very enjoyable! Then later, teaming up with Charlie and Erica to reiterate. (I wish I could sign off Lore: Basic Flirt on his card lol) Gus, this ongoing fun along with last game's willpower lesson are two of my favorite happenings in game thus far, so thank you for this!
Discussing the possibility of a Zellara Shadow Queen with Mike Smith after his wonderful event had concluded...and her jingles of death.
Zellara has become her own person with her own mannerisms...they are becoming natural to me when I come to the game, more so this event than in the past. I no longer have to force it to get it going. She is so much fun to play and I am so glad you enjoy her as well!
See you all soon, my pretties

-"Hug Tax!"
-Hanging out with Tatsuya.
-Psalms… Psalms… Canticles… did I mention Psalms? Ilana was pumped with so many crafting points X.x A Big thank you to Arza and Sindarion for helping Ilana write those and to Rudolph for a super dose of exalted refreshment.
-Ilana being whisked away by accident on one of the Shadow Stone Mods. Incinerating the stone to death because no one brought the Light Hammer.
-Briefly teaching Mr. Travance how to play Shut the Box and just trying to treat him like a normal guy anytime I met him. I think he appreciated it.
-Von Ritter mod. Super paranoia wins again. Hope the girl can be saved~
-Belmont mod. Judge's Belmont was pretty awesome. Though, Ilana's going to have to learn how to speak up around him or die from embarrassment.
-Pesmerga wants you to break something, you probably shouldn't.
-Also, Maxwell will be more than pleased to add 'curing the Spirit Realm of a virus' to his list of accomplishments I'm sure.
-Sunday morning 'What *is* this guy!?'
-Friday night's 'Is that a demon made of eyeballs?'
-Hanging out with the Druids Friday night too.
-Shadow King Saturday.
-Sergei's ever constant battle with my shoulder.
-The love the cookies I baked received.
-Renny and Frank's Dwarves interacting with each other.
-Maxine's Sylph calls Ilana by her name (I am guessing the spelling is Myras, but I'm probably wrong)
-My new favorite book that I'm going to read each event. Because: amazing.

-"Mars! What tried to kill you!?" (There's a decent sized puncture in my brand new shield. I don't remember ever getting hit that hard. I thought it was just some dirt till I cleaned at it)

Lowlight:
Being a super cool warrior monk/druid who tossed Seamus away to protect her master... only to assist Cooper running head first into a tree (I'm glad you're okay! I still feel awful)
Other highlights now that I'm not typing from a tablet:

-Outdoor Feast. We should do this all the time we can (I'll bring cookies if we do~!)
-Dust Devil, Belegchand, Dust Devil!
-I'm figuring out how to teach lessons better! (It's hard to explain lores)
-
-Beating up an Anti-Paladin before bed Friday/Saturday (the one who escaped a couple months ago no less!) I had just left Arden/Danny to bed and then raced down to Ostcliff cause I hear tons of fighting... then I'm kinda surrounded by 6(?) bad guys and scream real loud for Danny, cause I'm pretty sure he's in bed and I'm about to get steam-rolled. In fact, I hear him, almost calmly, bark back from the bottom of the hill, "Here!" (short version) and he and Arden break the enemies up. /Dragoon Saviors

I want to start this post by thanking those who helped me Saturday night when my migraine hit. A big shout out to my pain in the ass brother Drew, and Monkey, for helping to caffeine me, and push me into bed. I'm not really sure who else to thank, because I don't remember much else besides bright lights and pain. Also thanks to those who checked up on me the next morning, you all are why I love this game so much. (For the record, having one of your biggest migraine triggers being a lack of sleep...not so fun at a LARP)
OKAY HIGHLIGHTS(And in no real order, since my brain is just writing them as they come)
-This event had such awesome RP in it, I think it was late Saturday before I even hit anything, which ended up being pretty okay.
-ALL the RP with the visiting Bishop. Danae was pretty nervous around him at first, but she really liked and respected him(even if he never stopped talking )
-Thomas and Zod. Need I say more?(Also, I'm pretty sure Thomas is my new boyfriend, so be jealous, I got him first)
-Helping to restore the faith of a Valosian priest, through any means necessary, especially those a barbarian may find uncomfortable, which led to..
-Danae's first Sorcery Ritual. She managed to stay in the room the whole time and hold the Priest's hand to help give him strength. However, as soon as it finished and the lights flew off, she bravely fell on her ass, flew out of the room(with a momentary pause from Edwin, who instilled her with confidence) and threw up everywhere outside.
-The Londwynian crystal mod was so much fun.
-Chasing around a Barbarian Beserker( ) and forcing him to take a nap in my bunk. All the jokes that ensued, especially after he thought he forgot his soul there.
-Sunday mod was also fun. Danae falling over again when she saw a big sorcery explosion(Big brave barbarian...afraid of magic.)
-A sadly short lived conversation with Billiam about order/chaos. Really left Danae with more to ponder.
-Danae's first lesson in Church justice, and first master warrior lesson.
Main mod
- Taunting the assassins, and being disappointed when her favorite one died, because she couldn't yell at him anymore.
- Waking up in Sergei's arms EVERY time I was sleep blade poisoned. Also known as, Danae's first mage friend.
-Getting to be useful by helping bring some of the heavy swingers conscious a few times. Not like her heals did much more than bring make them wake up, but she was happy to help!
And this one deserves its own mention... Midriff ladies for Life
There are tons of other highlights, but I'd need a weekend to recount them all. Can't wait til I see you guys again

Friday Night:
-Actually making it to the event! It was well worth it by far
-Getting to sit in on the scholar think tank. So that's what you people do
-Another night, another dead vampire. And two-for-one, free werewolf kill!
-Learned my first VonRitter specific skill. Can't wait for them celerities now
-Welcoming the newest master witch hunter into the fold
Saturday:
-AYEEEEEEEEERP!
-Voles and the Abyss
-Getting to play a red cap again. By far one of my favorite rolls to npc
-THE FUDGE STREAK CONTINUES!!!
-delicious, delicious feast. OM NOM NOM
-Ben's benediction as his priest. 'nuff said
Saturday Night:
-Shadow Dojo v2.0
-Londwyn bedtime stories and tag-teaming with Orion. Such a deadly combo
-"Seamus punched a tree with his face once..."
Sunday:
-Q.L. Shen's sith test. It always brings a tear to my eye when somebody calls "spirit" and then mows an npc down
-The giant mollywomp-the-excommunicatis mod and Misaki still not being able to tell Valos from Agaurra. Raquel, you took those 10 tag skills per second like a champ. A dead champ, but a champ

never have I enjoyed the mercantile art as much as I have during the past event...
selling scrolls to whomever will buy them and then writing more... such fun
negotiating a reduced price in mithril and collecting the difference as a fee
...such profit
fun and games with scrolls
never fear just whip out a feign death scroll...
fighting through the use of pulling a random scroll from my pocket and casting it
scavenging around for more paper, if I can write on it then it works be it napkins or copies of the chronicle lying on the table all became scrolls to fuel my profit and entertainment
oh the fun ill have with rank II next moon...I think ill need a hat

Hmmm. Where to start. The weather was fantastic and I didn't mind the chilly night because of the fact that the day was cool.
Also, Mike, you did an awesome job with the event. It was very in-depth as all of your events are.
Friday
NPC Shift
Went out as Hobbit Assassins with Josh. We got Viktor to have a drink with Death Poison in it. I was just about to leave the vicinity of the inn, I heard "Hey!" It was a wrong move by me to stop because it was Sir Tiersen and Sir Cinder and they both used Detect Evil Intent so I was screwed. All because I was a Hobbit (and probably because I had a straw hat on and Viktor said something about a straw hat.
After Shift
About to head to the direction of Alisandria until I heard that Ostcliff needed help and then I ran into the direction of the things that attacked Ostcliff. So of course I didn't decide to attack them because it was just me, Morwenne and her cousin there. I ran back and saw that Morwenne and her cousin were in bubbles and that the creatures were just staying around them. I decided to hit my shield and test the monsters' intelligence. It worked and they all started coming toward me and I tried to go back to the Inn until I realized that they were staying around Pendarvin because they were already taking care of it.
Slack, Jed, Sylus, some other people that I didn't see because it was dark, and I were taking care of some bugs, undead, and the Vermin Lord. Then more people came and we got it all taken care of.
Saturday
Witnessing the ritual (which was not arcane at all) for the hammer to destroy Shadow Crystals.
Going to the Gypsy Party and the Ostcliff Tournament. I'm upset I didn't sign up for it. The food at the Gypsy Party was awesome. Jenn, you did a great job with the fudge and the cookies.
Mages' Guild meeting as I was trying to find out where the Redcap went. It was such a deep meeting about time. All I can say is it was very interesting. James, RP is always fun when you're around.
Getting to see Sannyiah and Aidan after a long time. It's been a while!
Feast was awesome as per the usual. Luis, you're the man!
Ben Theis, I couldn't keep a straight face during your benediction.
Val and I talking about how Orias likes to stare at you when he's talking about you, no matter how close or far away you are.
Main Mod
Being told that I was going to be one of the commanders and helping with formulating the plan for the battle.
Interceding two Assassinates from Alex directed to Quinn and Alex told me I was a "real problem." Getting Marked for Death as a result. Didn't affect me much because I know that the NPCs would not come towards the line too much.
Skimmel, by far, the best costuming has been on you and I was in awe because this costume tops a lot of others.
Getting ready to go deal with Pesmurga in the Spirit Realm but being told by Angelica that we didn't have to because she and other people tried to deal with it and instead made the problem worse.
Going to Londwyn and dealing with some assassins there.
Went to a Khitanese place with a lot of ronins there. For future reference, don't have a mod in the pitch black darkness near the Slab. I think Cooper can agree with this. Glad to hear you're doing better.
Sunday
Going on a Mod by the Gypsy Caravans where the portal to the Abyss was. Jasmine, want to fight again some time?
Took forever to kill Gannon and I was getting tired. Unfortunately having to leave very shortly after that.
Lowlights
Nothing!

I won't lie, I slept a lot.
I had fun on saturday being Odo and chatting about humans and waiting to storm the castle.
Actually getting to interact with Kore(?). It's very nice to get to do racial roleplay that isn't Bloodblade vs Warscream! It's a shame they kept splitting the group at the Assassin's Keep.
Sunday's rain and fighting barrage. That was interesting jumping in and solving problems.
Seeya all in September!
