First and foremost thank you James for allowing Melody to be a part of KR. Thanks to everyone who made her feel so happy and welcomed and loved that she would not lay down and rest unless Mom laid down with her. She was just like the three year old staying up as long as possible not to miss anything! She is out cold on the floor by her food dish between the kitchen and the living room where I am writing this.
That said the meet and greet on Friday night rocked!
My highlights include every comment on her behavior and training both IC and OOC. It's great to hear comments like best dog ever. I think so but hearing it from others. Precious.
Finding the ground hog and driving it from the inn. Damn rats! Still hanging around.
Patrols including Alisandria goblins and scorpions. Mel's scenting to find the physreps!
Hearing about barks bringing help to Duncan for Ogers.
Therapy work for those on IC and OOC need. Glad to help!
The wedding and paralyze! Dogs do not know what that means so while my five seconds her out of phase we had the right numbers for movement. Lol
Liver and guts. "No Mel you can not gave them."
Kitchen duty love my ladies! Love to help. Love to eat well! Rocking Feast that Melody got to share. Chicken!
Learning Master Warrior part two from Grim. I learned a few things RL too. You rock!
Dragoon Caern visit and possible plans.
It was grand to tell Melody stories in game terms. Translation into game was sometimes tough! Lol
I suspect Melody will be out for the next 24 hrs.
Hugs

It's been a long time since I did one of these. I almost didn't make it, as I had to run around NYC most of the morning on Saturday. The 2 hour train ride didn't help matters either.
Highlights...
Seeing all of my friends & their reactions at me showing up out of the blue. Worth the entire trip right there. Everything else is bonus.
Walking around the camp & seeing all the impressive work done to it. Kudos to DR people for all their hard work & kudos to all the people who did bake sales, fundraisers, & just plain old broke their backs with blood, sweat, & tears of hard work & manual labor to get the stuff done.
Hearing that 2 NPC's didn't want to attack me as I walked around the camp by myself. Not sure if an insult or compliment.
Learning Critical Attack from Duncan MacKenzie & the funny conversations during & afterwards.
Duncan: The things that cause you pain.
Me: Women?
Duncan & Oren: ROFLMAO
Going to the "wedding" & trying to not let all the GoT wedding meme's infect me during the event. Though, as I watched the entire Caliope death scene, "Rains of Castamere" was playing in my head the entire time.
Seeing Sir Lathiel give an OK to a new townsmember to use Color Spray on someone else "just for kicks".
Escorting the "cookie tree" to the bank & evaluating her gems for her before depositing. Of course, the trip couldn't be done properly without her yelling/announcing it in a loud voice to everyone.
Actually sitting down to a feast & eating some of it.
I wanna thank the following people...
Judge... for letting me know that feces & dung become holy & divine when I'm around.
John Tinney... for laughing at my response.
Leslie McCormack... for bringing Melody. Melody has gotten my votes as Most Valuable Player & Most Valuable Character for this month's event.
I hope to see you all next event.

The part where Ilana had to peel back my forehead and rip skin off my face! Literally my favorite part of the entire event was this moment.
The part where Croi was dominated and murderfaced, right under the noses of a Squire, a Knight Protector, and a Guardsmember (or two).
When Aleister threw dirt in Billliumm's face.
Between the window toss and the garbage can, pretty sure that was the "OH SNAP" moment in the fight -- right before the curb stomp topped it. However, nothing really says brawling quite like cracking hard foam-wood boards over peoples heads for entertainment. A+ pit fight, would watch again. and again.
Watching other people hold wrestling matches the next morning in front of the inn.
Juggling and hacky sack.
"Pink hair!"
MISSING BARD PLOT *sobs for days*
UNDEAD STROKING ANKLES JSUESKUSEKLRHSJKR
p.s. thank you whoever dropped the plates during the moment of silence at feast. That was literally perfect and the best thing ever. Because bards.
See you for at least half of the WitL!

Cook outs at clove's hut!
Steak and bananas shared with company
Ib came up while it was still drizzling because he's awesome
Rowan yelling stories as the entire circle around the fire passes her dagger to one another behind their backs
Remember people, for those not on my facebook, anyone is welcomed here these nights! ANYONE
Stayed up till sunrise telling tree jokes and general bs
Gideon heart attack take 2
Gideon: If I use these 60 gold worth of gems will be wasted.
Clove: Go ahead, they are just pretty rocks I wont use for anything else.
Gideon -double takes and then remembers last conversation and just sockets the runes-
Sleepytimes in the middle of the day not being disturbed by attacking npcs!
Asked for help collecting glammer
Collected the crap out of the glammer then off to punch some dark elves!
More precious sleep undisturbed by gank shift or wake up shift.
All the beautiful sunday tomfoolery
Pride of Caldor telling me about his encounter with the stupid wolves
All the random small bits of rp with people

May sixteenth, 1214,
I've come back into Travance for a few quick days of rest while also having another opportunity to work and attend the Baronial feast. I reunited with Penoia and Nadiya to which we then set up a place to sleep not too far from the Bloody Stump in Ostcliff.
Friday night up until midnight, I tended to the bar, thoroughly enjoying listening to Alender talking with others and enjoying his night. Blacktree and I had a nice talk while I served her and met her little chick she found on the road.
I met some new Travancians whom did nothing for me. I served them, but that was it.
I left shift at midnight where there were Travancians running towards Kaledonia to fight...Something. I was asked to assist, however had other matters to attend to. I promised to make it up.
May seventeenth, 1214,
All I could remember was Nadiya screaming, and seconds later, I came into consciousness in the monastery. I was told I had been slain, and my soul brought through something called the 'Focus'. Those who attack Travance most likely knew that the only way to kill Sébastien is if they catch him sleeping. I was told of Penoia and Nadiya's fate, and I needed to find them. It turns out, they had been slain too, and their souls taken through this 'focus' as well. They were with child, Nadiya was carrying twins...I wish there was something I could have done. I would give anything to bring their children back...Anything.
I remained quiet throughout the day, even into the glade during the Drow attack. I didn't count how many Drow I murdered that night, but I couldn't multiply that number by 1000 to make up for whatever it is that thought they could truly kill me.
May eighteenth, 1214,
I got to see Colve's hut in the flesh...Bark. I can see how he is able to live like that. I did it for years.
The rest of this day was more so dedicated to appreciating that I took a few days to rest in a town full of life and possibility. The people of Travance are growing on me. Maybe too much. But I thank them for allowing someone like me into their Provence. And as always, I wouldn't mind visiting them again.
Thank you, Travance.

I don't remember much of Friday, but what I do I liked
-Kidneys! An elves weakness
-People suddenly loving my bandages.
-Flasks! Magic for days!
-The weekend long conversation over a flower. Ilana learned some things.
-Meeting the Faun again. All parts of Glade mod.
-Calliope's death. Ilana may not be a bard, but she cared. Super upset she couldn't save her
-The brawl. "I hope Aleister likes Mithril" *BAM!* "Did you give Billliamm your shield!?"
-Drega'plot. Might have accidentally slept on the dock most of it.
-Ilana: "So, we're just going to let Arden finish her talk and then we can go to bed?" "Yeah" "Awesome" *Croí's body is brought in* Ilana doing her best to be gentle, despite injuries.
-"It's alright, I just scared you. Besides, it doesn't count, you changed your mind so fast, I think you were just looking for an excuse."
-So many deaths of people already reanimated. Dr. DeMontfort totally bummed he couldn't reanimate anyone. Ilana promised him if he's ever around and she dies, he gets 'dibs'
-Chaos Wastes? Yes please! Ilana's first region lore. Excited.

This may have my best event ever. It is certainly in my top 5. First of all, thanks to James and all the marshalls who work so very hard to make events safe, successful and fun. Thanks also to the folks who stay at the Manor. I feel blessed to bunk with such a great group!
Friday night: I finally got to do some RP with Angeliana instead of just doing a fly by, "Andorra loves you." It was good; but made Maralas get angry at Grim. Next, yelling at Grim and promising him unhappiness if he hurts Angeliana. Of course, this conversation led to Angeliana slipping Grim's vigilant guarding and he yelled at Maralas. So much good RP! Then to the Gaian Mass! Thanks to all who made it there! I really enjoyed it and, as always, was glad that Caldor added the missing element to the mass. It's almost like we planned it . . . Thanks, also to everyone who participated by speaking and/or receiving purification.
The Star of the event, for me was when Pulvius sang to Maralas after Mass. Such a beautiful surprise! I am still completely touched by it. So much love to you Romeo! I swear this made my whole event!!!
Saturday: Market Faire seemed to be lightly attended, yet, I wrote my fingers off making potions and salves for people. I also made a good amount of money. That was nice because I got to buy people breakfast. Maralas loves doing that! Then I was off to the Wedding. Romeo's jester was the perfect mix of charming and creepy! Carlos did a wonderful job with the ceremony and all seemed well until SLAUGHTER! Crazy! I was impressed at the reactions of shock and grief and chief among those for me was Meander smiting the carnations. Lots of great RP!
Light Mass! Yay! Sorry I was late; but I was there. The meeting after was some really good RP. Much was said that needed to be said. Now is time for people to begin with actions. I can't wait to see how things go. Much love to all my clergy buddies! Also, much thanks to the people who care about what happens to the clergy. I'm feeling hopeful.
Feast: The food was delicious, hot, timely and plentiful! For me it was one of the best I have ever attended. Thanks again to the Chef and all of the kitchen staff! You all rock!
Sunday morning lessons were pretty great! Thank you, Rudolf, for your lessons and advisement. I love it when we talk shop. I am still smiling about my lesson with Gideon. I guess we really have not had many in-dephth conversations about how we believe prayers really work. I love that I surprised him.

Friday:
-Thank you larp exchange for being there with the exact things I needed when I needed them.
-I was expecting a very different sort of plot until Don'Kellard came in himself and started interacting with all of us. Clytie didn'd get the answer from him that she was hoping for, even before she could ask her question, but their little interaction was fun.
-Bug Sebastien enough, and maybe one day you will get free mead. Shhh, you didn't hear it from me.
-NPC shift to opposite Don'Kellard as Ambassador Zarah Cairnshroud. This too took an unexpected turn. All your damn fault Billiam. This is why we can't have nice things.
Saturday:
-She became very fond of a lovely rock in the forest. Granted, the rock gave her extra magical strength. Plus it was glowy and pretty.
-She made the grave mistake of giving Satyr's wine to Halflings. The next half hour was spent trying to keep them from drinking her.
-The conclusion of Chronicler mod had Clytie turning on her friends more times than she has ever in the past. Also of course the word "the" would throw us all off. And of course the answer she would get would be from the reflection of the Piety mod. The Sun.
-Literally had the most perfect toss of an itching powder to save a hostage. She aimed for the guy in front, a good thirty feet away, but ended up hitting the one who was a second away from killing the hostage another 20 feet behind him. She has never been more proud of herself.
-Clytie's Nyad senses were tingling at the wedding, as she tried to get permission from Tobar to kill the creepy jester even before his ceremony began. If only he had said yes... But still, that wedding was the most terrified I've ever been at Larp. Nothing like forced paralysis, death opera, werewolves, and ripping out poor Calliope's guts to turn your blood cold.
-Meander eventually made it better by tricking Satyr's Wine down Clytie's throat. She briefly became a dryad, mistook Mel for an adorable fluffy cerberus, caught the bouquet, uncontrollably laughed at Jed as he tried marrying her, and stumbled upon Herrister's abandoned cane. Best part, she only remembers that tail end. As mentioned in the lost and found, he may or may not get that cane back.
-Took 6 or 7 months, but Clytie finally formally joined the Mage's Guild.
-"Have you met my wife 'ere?" "He keeps saying that..." Those interactions with Jed were priceless. She will vehemently deny marrying him for a long time to come.
-Also her fear of wedding ceremonies has returned at least twentyfold.
-Okay yeah sure I'll help keep you from dying and identify that you were poisoned. But I'm taking your jello. Peace.
-Continually wondering what the hell Magnus was smoking when he appointed Clytie to help lead the Flower Brigade. Seriously. First you deputized her while she was drunk and now this?
-Not that I was necessarily complaining though, even though trying to organize everyone was like herding cats, Clytie enjoyed working with Cael and surprised herself with a knack for rallying very different people.
-You go, eagle Kleiden, you go. Caw caw motherfuckers.
-Almost went on dregamod and maybe ate the rot worm, but I got in a no holds barred fight with the staircase instead, Ankle still hurts a little, but with all of the banister bits missing from the staircase, I think I can safely say that I won.
Sunday:
-So much learning. Advanced in 2 schools of alchemy and a new sphere of magic, and Clytie is so so so close to fire mastery.
-I think she's better friends with Wolf Keavy than Elf Keavy after all those ear skritches she gave.
-Finally melding with water in Sindarion's MagiTech teapot. She loves that thing so much.
-Owen and Sindarion's shirtless wrestling match, now there's entertainment.
Overall this was one of the best events I've been to, period. I really got to explore Clytie as a character more, play an active part in the happenings of the town, and overall felt more immersed than I have in a long time. I won't be there for the entirety of week in the life, full time job gets in the way, but I'm looking forward to the time I'll spend with all of you there!
-Thank you larp exchange for being there with the exact things I needed when I needed them.

I had a great time this event and find that each one I am doing more and understanding more of what I do. I still have no clue generally, but there is progress.
Friday:
Got to the event early and hung out a bit, chatting and relaxed. It was a good start to the event and made possible by my work schedule, though there were drawbacks to it.
Game on: Looked for an old friend, and generally got the feel for the event again. Preached a bit at the bar, and by preached I mean bought some ales and teased somebody. Then my friend arrived and surprised her with a "Hello, my name is Brother Aldric." The look on her face was priceless. She had no idea I was playing KR. Then chatted about KR and gave her and her friends some pointers and introductions. Attended Gaian Mass in the Baronial Manor, I liked it and want to attend more. The blessings were more than worth it, several times over this weekend, plus I was regaled with song!
The Clergy talk after began a trend for the weekend. Also the ramifications of learning something about Caldor, (Dude you totally are.) More shenanigans ensued at the bar, then sleep.
Saturday:
First thing in the morning, Clergy Talk with special feedback from the populace. I mean special in the sense of the "Get your thumbs out of your posterior and DO something" variety. Thanks Duncan, et al,. Then more Clergy talk.
NPC Shift 10-2pm: The npcs this shift seemed especially ornery and possibly non-complaint with their medication. Particularly my partner in the whole "Clytie is the Sauce-eror and trying to drink her for her power while high on Satyr's Wine.", caper. Love you May. The Ogre, Goblin wake up crunchies were fun, maybe not to the guys in the tent next to the Bloody Stump (sorry). Generally pleasant day to go out and die for the game!
Then, the Red Wedding. Seriously creepy Jester there. Rowan freaking out about where Nalick was, kinda odd and left me running around looking for him as he just casually strolls up, "What are you guys doing?". Seeing Jed's altar... yeah I figured that would be my reaction.... Then hustling around to let people know a Light Mass was going to be in the Monastery. Overwhelmed by the turnout guys! Anyways, Clergy talk ensued afterwards. (Yes, you too Caldor). Hopefully Clergy talk continues and some actions arise out of it.
Feast! Great food and some great bard bard bard action. Welcome Trent to Travance! Plate being tossed in the middle of the silence for Calliope, not cool, nor funny. I saw who it was, much disappoint, but doubt it matters to the 'gentleman' involved.
Saturday evening: Main Mod was fun and the lowbies were great to be with. We all worked together and made that thing look easy. Whatever we were doing? Dipped into the caves at the tail end just to see how it got set up, then back to the Tavern beset by Nightblades. The rest of the night, shenanigans, and Drega'mod. I need more levels. Felt important regardless, and had fun!
Sleep!! Then packed and left. My drawback is I work Sunday Afternoons, so I missed the end of the weekend and the Diner afterwards. Had a great time and I thank Staff, Mr. Kimball, James C. and all of you who I RPed with through the weekend. See you at WITL, at the weekend portion at least.

Holy Crap. What an incredible event. First and foremost, after NPCing for two events, my brother Jack finally made his PC. It was great to be able to interact with his character after months of brainstorming and anticipation on both of our parts.
As much as the rain on Friday sucked, it ended working out to my advantage for the entire weekend. With the snow gone and no longer being confined to the roads, I'm able to effectively avoid danger at night simply be slinking through the woods. With the leaves being soaked, I was able to so completely silently for the majority of the event. Due to the epicness of saturday I can't remember much about friday night, other than getting a really good price on a replacement mithril sword.
Saturday morning I was up early, to the inn for breakfast. Hit up chronicler mod. Jorik did not have a whole lot to do there, but I was glad that he agreed to go. Got chaotically altered, went into a beserker rage when someone in the group tried to cast enfeeblement on him. Thankfully Sindarion was able to use a skill to keep me at bay and prevent me from attacking the rest of the group. With the exception of Goggins foolishly trying to waylay Jorik and in return getting cleaved for his trouble no one was hurt too badly. Sorry about the weapons I shattered. I'll pay for them I promise. Getting to the end of the mod was worth it for Jorik as he was rewarded with a +1 damage rune. Just what he needs haha.
After that Jorik went to the wedding. What a gloriously wonderful occasion. After a bottle of mead, and some cups of ale, Jorik was drunk during the ceremony but managed to hold it together. Then some kind of crazy singing magic caused shit to hit the fan and all hell to break loose. Further cementing in Jorik's mind that if the world was without magic, such things could not have happened. That entire Mod was one of the most amazing, terrifying and heartbreaking things I've ever witnessed at KR. Major props go out to Goose for orchestrating it, Romeo for playing the most disarmingly charming jester, and then turning it into a maniacal maniac. Great role play of grief and panic on the part of everyone else after the paralysis wore off.. I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience.
After that it was tower mod. However it was more difficult than I expected due to the fact I blew all of my Tag skills trying to kill everyone on the chronicler mod. Great experience. Thank God I was level headed enough to not use Rediziel on the demons. That would have been stupid.
Feast was delicious as always.
Main Mod was amazing. It was nice that we were split up according to experience. The battle in the glade was Glorious for Jorik. It was one of the first times that he truly was a destructive force to be reckoned with. Also great Beserker role play between him and Alander. After Getting trapped outside of the Glade by the magic barrier, Jorik used his ignore magic to leap through and reenter the glade to fight alongside those who were still trapped there.
Fight at the stump was amazing. Great times.
Sunday morning NPC shift. probably my favorite shift to be on. Had a great conversation with Bill Hannings about a possible direction to take Jorik in for the future. Had a blast getting to go out as a seriously strong Ogre. Figured since it was the last hurrah, I would really throw myself around. Actually bounced off a tree after getting shield bashed by Seamus. The cuts, scrapes, and bruises from throwing myself to the ground were totally worth it. Hope you guys enjoyed that.
All in all this was my favorite event to date. Can't wait until the WITL. I'll be able to go to the extended portion, but not the weekend, so I'll see you all there.

Before I get into the meat of the event, I have to say that this event saved KR for me. For reasons I won't get into the game had not been going well for me but Goose, James, David Reyes, Jason Marin, Ree, Sean, Dani, Connor, Judge, and a looooooot of other people saved the day for me. They made the event a blast and reminded me of how much fun I originally had at the game when I first started. It's good to be back.
Friday night:
Coming back to town after two months away, Ru hit up every Sorcerer she could find that night to examine her eyes. Then the relief Ru felt when she found out there was nothing bad clinging to them.
Sitting down with Keavy and talking about Elf/Druid stuff was awesome. Dani, I love RPing with your character. Beautiful Wild Wolf of the Forest indeed.
Ruindol was thoroughly put in her place after her budding new instincts got the better of her. Running head long into a goo-cube, being two minutes away from dying, and sequentially pissing off Cookie Tree.
Having cookie tree yell at her only drove the point home that she needs to learn where her place in the world is. Then going off to bed with her proverbial tail between her legs.
Saturday:
Getting up early and prepping myself for the big day! Finding Caldor and asking him how to approach his wife because Cookie Tree scares the crap out of Ru.
Approaching Cookie Tree, apologizing, once again being put in my place. It was not fun times for Ru but it was good character development that she sorely needed.
Finding the shiny shiny rock in the woods. Liking the shiny rock in the woods because it gave me extra magic.
Typhon telling Ru he'd finally be willing to hear her out was a huge relief to her in game.
Taking a walk with Tobar in the woods before getting ready for the wedding. It was nice to relax and have some alone time.
The Wedding. Oh. Gods. The Wedding. It was equal parts awesome and terrifying wrapped up in a blanket of crazy-win. Ruindol wants to kill that Drow in the face so hard and gut Julius. She cried so hard over Calliope and wants vengeance for her death! On a happier note...falling into Clytie with the flowers was funny. That was a total accident. I tripped over my own two feet and landed into a squishy Nyad. Jeds reaction was hilarious.
Jed giving Ru advice/warning about her marriage was also interesting. "Now you're going to have to work on this or I'm going to have to come in to split you up." Ru is watching you now.
She was touched by all the people who showed up and the gifts that people gave. Ru feels like she's becoming part of the town.
High-jinks with Morwenne, that shared look of vengeance they had when they both held up items that Julius dropped. Oh yes, there shall be a reckoning of fiery Elvin vengeance!
And oh Gods...all of the Gypsy hexes. Ru was nearly a vegetable. Maralas to the rescue! Ruindol has a new respect for Priests of Gaia. "Excuse me, can you remove curses?" "Yes." Me, smiling sheepishly while cringing at someones red shirt. Then holding up five fingers and pointing to myself.
I want to give a special shout out to Goose. You are an awesome story teller, I can't wait for June!
Hobbling over to Kaladonia after the wedding clean up and having my talk with Typhon. It was a bit of an emotional experience for Ru, even if she didn't show it. She felt like she was slowly making head way towards being trusted and accepted. Typhon gave her permission to learn the druidic tradition which was pretty awesome. Yay headway!
Sitting in Kaladonia and relaxing with everybody was a blast.
Chatting with Keavy and Tris.
Then Spider Mouth...ugh. I set a cup of tea on the ground next to me while talking to Tris. Lifted it up to take a sip without looking then abruptly spit it out. A spider was crawling across my tongue and teeth. All of Kaladonia going "Ewwwwww." at once was kind of priceless/awesome.
Everything after that up until main mod is kind of a blur for me, but was no less awesome.
Main Mod:
Joning Anhil's murder/kill squad was probably the best decision I made in character for multiple reasons.
The walk down was _hilarious_.
Jeds sultry far speaking stone hotline. "I want to lick your hiney hole," among other, grosser things had Arden and Ru dying in the back. Jade: "Omergerd booberz."
Sending out insults to the drow in the woods. Seamus: "What do you call a bunch of drow hanging from a tree?" Ru: "What?" Seamus: "A Sylendrian wind chime."
Getting into battle formation with Seamus, Grim, and Arden left no room for drow to get around us. We were the murder squad! Seamus was so good with his shield I didn't even have to call defenses and I didn't lose any armor/body.
All the rage when the Matron got away.
All the happy when I found three diamonds and a butt load of items on the way back.
Getting lost in the woods because it was so dark, having Illana find me and guide me back.
The fight down at the stump!
Passing out after the fight. Game over. I had zero energy left and slept all through Sunday game time.
All in all, I had a blast!

To be absolutely fair, Lydius was around for at least a year, probably closer to a year and a half. They looked like at least comrades.
Anyway, my highlights:
Though I was only there from around 10 in the morning to right after main mod, it was still a fun-filled event.
Thank you James for running an awesome event that went more in-depth with such a nefarious race. Always good for diversity.
Conversing with friends waiting for some long overdue trouble.
Walked with Billliamm and Godric and happened to find some trouble in the form of goblinoids.
"The Wedding" as it's going to be referred to as for the future. Wow, the role play was amazing and had me awestruck. The guts and intestines was a great addition (from a role playing perspective). Don't know who you were, but a good job to the Dark Lorestri for singing. I'm sure it inspired fear into some of the unexpected PCs.
Feast was amazing. I had about 3 or 4 servings of the chicken (I know, protein) and the mashed potatoes were good along with the jello.
Main Mod
Being part of the strongest group to fight off the insanely strong 5 Drow. It was a mess what with all the poison bombs and Assails.
With most of that taken care of, I helped sweep up any residual Drow and then was heading back to the Inn. But then...
Lorelei expresses the importance of checking out the power nodes for the Matron. There was nothing there, so we headed back.
Unfortunately having to leave. It was a major upset, but the fun I had in that one day overpowered leaving early.
It was a great event. I will be at the WITL, but only for the weekend portion. I'll do my best to pester my dad for going up on Thursday, but we'll see.

Unfortunately having to leave. It was a major upset, but the fun I had in that one day overpowered leaving early.
It was a great event. I will be at the WITL, but only for the weekend portion. I'll do my best to pester my dad for going up on Thursday, but we'll see.

- Chasing Dark elves through the woods friday night with Keavy and Blacktree.
- Having to withdraw from a potential battle with Dark elves because of Seamus and Duncan's advice. All of the dwarf anger.
- Drinking and singing until the wee hours of the morning Friday night and meeting fantastic new people.
- Trading drinks and stories for having my beard braided, brilliant!
- Spreading the notion that Dwarves should be druids because rocks are nature too! I will become a rock druid one day!
- Going out as a goblin mod on my NPC shift and not seeing a single one after that. Every damn time I want to kill greenskins I am on NPC duty #dwarfproblems
- Honor fights during NPC shift was tons of fun.
- Talking with Ilana about flowers and feelings.
- Inverted tower mod was super fun and the demons being smart about taking me out of the fight when I went all rage crazy.
- Main mod was absolutely fantastic. Fighting off hoards of drow and spiders while protecting my friends. Battle raging with barbarians always fun. Having the magical wall go up trapping some of us behind and watching Keavy hold over a dozen dark elves at bay. Stories will be told of your ferocity. Then the magic people not knowing how to fix the magic problem and people telling me that I was a liability. Then going on to dumb dwarf my way through the problem and drag the essence with grit and muscles into the anti magic field. I may start a service for the mages guild... Thank you Jeff for that absolutely epic scene and the voice that spoke to me afterward.
- Billliamm vs. Aliester, holy crap what a great fight guys, very well done.
- Drunkenly arguing with Angelianna about who is and is not my girlfriend, so much fun. Having Croi, Arden and Angelianna gang up on me and mess with me was hilarious. Damn you Croi for out shouting me! For the record Arden flying is not fun!
- Getting drunk with Billiam, Cyric, and Kit was ridiculous fun.
- Teaching Cannas the true meaning of rage and wrasslin. You will be a real berserker one day.
- Interesting talks with Jed about tools.
- Im sure I am forgetting a few but all in all an absolutely fantastic event!

This event was amazing for me. I had so much fun and so many interesting conversations. I can't say how fitting it was that I became a white sorcerer this event. One certain white sorcerer clearly on my mind...so with his bday it seemed appropriate to do it now. Love you MD
Steve did such an amazing job to of testing me to see if I was ready for white sorcery. I really had to push myself.. Amazing
conversations with a certain glommite that I learned so much from. Great conversation about Taris magical prowess and leadership abilities. Learned a lot.
Best lesson ever of fire strike. Thank you to everyone who made it the hardest ever.
Hey I'm bored...... Thank you to those of you in Alisandria who saved Tari once again.
Really getting to interact with PCs in Kaledonia whom I haven't before... Perhaps building fragile bridges...the one barbarian knows who he is
Can't wait till wtl when Tari has to learn to meld into a tree, and till I get to have a kimara

I don't think Aella has actually lost her temper before this weekend so much Rage cookie!
Friday
Trying to look into different options for Caelvin's unique problem. Yelling at Keavy for not stepping up when Caelvin was suffering. Apparently nightmares are not a good enough reason for being tired and antsy.
Going to Midnight mass and having an honest talk about the state of the church with the clergy. Sir Pluvius's song was just pure awesome.
Getting sucked into going into a cave to look for a husband and then watching Ruindell foolishly endanger everyone to the point that Aella left.
Meeting new people of Travance including Kit, who seemed so nice. Being uncomfortable watching the news of Xualla being broken to her and watching her cry as I glared at the person who gave her the news.
Snapping at Ruindal when she came back to apologize.
Saturday
Having a nice chat with Ruindal about patience, not being so selfish and working with others. Telling her that she has to step it up and prove herself before she can trust her again. Talking about how the town needs her to be better for the towns people to like her.
Had a good talk to Typhon about his hierophant nature.
Worst wedding ever.. but it was so damn cool to witness. Watching so many people cry at the scenario was actually very powerful. Props to the jester...just wow!
Relaxo time at Kalodonia! CHEESE = AWESOME
Trying to fix the glade and not thinking to use flee as invisible hands were chasing her. Watching Kleiden being awesome as an eagle!
Getting boxed in between a no exit zone and a pack of Assassins. Aella deciding that the best route is the Scylla method.. Let the higher seasoned people be on the outer edge with the lower people protected in between. Then when the assassins drop one of us, just pick him up and keep going until we are safely away.
More hanging out with Kalodonia and playing with colored fire... just because.
Sunday
Getting woken up to traps in our tent incapacitating all the monsters.
Getting to be a part of the Annora lesson. IT was a lot of fun sitting in a tree pelting arrows at one target.
Looking forward to week in the life. Doing Feast and bringing all the cookies.

Hmmm…. Where to begin.
Oh yes. Safety speech. I am very sorry if I came across as a bit gruff. To my own mental review of my words afterwards, they seemed that way and for that I apologize profusely. KR is where I am supposed to leave outside problems in the parking lot. To let them color my delivery in ANY fashion of important stuff…. Is unacceptable.
Anyways…
Friday pre-layon: Helped the kitchen crew and gave a class on how the industrial Manual Can-opener worked.
After layon….
Boy was it damp… and I blame the weather witches for getting their timing wrong on when it was gonna stop. The one thing that the weather did do though… was making Ranger Tracking of Invisible Drow sooooooooooooooo easy.
Me (to sneaking drow after I placed my sword to block him): Hey there slick…. Not so fast.
Drow: What?
Me: Invisible works against everything but tracking when its muddy, Lad. Why don’t you relax and lets talk about this mess, aye?
Drow: No (vanishes)
Me: Damnit! Sneaky git, this is nae the way to win friends…
This became important later as I am making way back to the inn when the same Drow reappears and tries to waylay me. Gin-uki showed him why that was a mistake when a Legionaire is within arm’s reach.
A very angry Duncan delivering the still alive Drow to the inn and throwing him on the floor through the door was rather cool RP thing. Good Intel was gained…
The gorgeous moonlight after the rains stopped and clouds cleared was awesome… as was some awesome RP hunting Drow with Alander and some of the new players.
Seeing that Duncan’s dwarven friend had learned some lessons from previous (mis)adventures they had, brought a huge smile to my face. Dude… you have no idea how much finding out that lesson about caution stuck with you made the PC happy. Well… maybe now you do. *grin*
Saturday morning…
Even tho I only went to bed at 3am, I was still up on my normal time of 07-ish. It meant I had the showers to my-self… At least until Marylas showed up.  Ah well.
Up to the inn and get into a discussion about religion… and of course caused a ruckus that pulled in more than a few trying to defend the (in)action of the Church as a whole. Told there was to be a Mass at 4… and I promised those in the conversation I would be there.
When Birgitta was busy with lessons, I was given responsibility for her War Dog, Melody. So I decided to take her and some brand new residents of Travance on a tour (they hadn’t seen much the night before due to time and weather) so off we went.
Good thing I had the wardog too… Surprise explosive gift from a group of (later learned to be tainted) Ogres and Goblins over by Alisandria took out over half the new residents, leaving myself, Melody and the new Ranger with me to fight stuff out of our weight class.
As we are fighting for our lives, Melody starts barking at the Goblins, scaring them…. And bringing Cavalry in the form of Godric and another Alisandrian from up the road aways.
Incidentally, as a good Wardog should, Melody was about to “eat” one of the remaining ogres still up but was pulled off before it was “ravaged”.
(A special thankyou to the NPC’s here for being awesomely cool with your interaction with the dog. Belive me when I say that she was proud of herself afterwards. Talk about a strutting Collie.)
Got to that wedding… and all I can say is that there is a Jester who has earned the Ire of a Celt. I want his head on a Pike… and his hat for a cleaning rag. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr….
Get back and attend that mass with an open mind, having been told that it would be an Important Mass. Trust me… with what was said, nothing remotely countered the perception of what my PC believes the church of Kormye/Travance is about.
After Mass was ended, everything became all about the folks baptized and their benefits from mass. The Unwashed Masses who weren’t Recognized by a Greater Power need not be there…. And YES, that is how it was presented.
If I had stayed silent as I was leaving, I think I would have been absolutely ignored completely by the self-absorbed in there and not missed a bit until someone went to ask me a question and discovered an empty seat.
So because I am not baptized, I am nothing to the Church (or so it was presented) and therefore no reason for me to remain- especially since it was repeated twice that Mass was over and there wasn’t to be anything important coming next. Way to win Converts and correct the perception no one Official cares.
So this member of the unwashed, unbaptized masses departed for no reason to remain. Turns out I missed some spirited old-fashioned ass-chewing of the Clergy from a very unlikely source.
Which is fine- this will make for some fun debate/RP later I am certain.
Got in some teaching time before Feast, teaching Florentine to one person and then Critical Strike to another. For anyone who wishes to learn from me, be prepared for a more philosophical session- mixed with humor as appropriate.
Feast was tasty…. Kudos to the Feast Crew. There was plenty to eat, at least at my table and it *was* eaten.
Main Mod…. NPC time for me and fought over in the side area where the glamour collection was… A comment was made that I am no longer allowed to attack the inn during Main was floated and met with laughter from all those who knew of last feast’s carnage. And while funny, it would be a bummer if its true.
Kudos to Steelson and Kanas with their responses to insult being used on them. Falia, your response was priceless- and I thought you were actually gonna REALLY kill me….
While I thought the use of the smoke-pots was about right in our area, I was told their use was over the top in the caves and some folks were ill. Hopefully, those with the issues there put it in their Re-cap forms. I appreciate being told about it though and will strongly encourage a lighter hand with them for future events.
Post main, it was back in character…. And more teaching was done- a long promised lesson on Battle-cry over in Kalidona
Not long after, it was bedtime for me.
Sunday morning… Early Breakfast stuff, more talks about religion and another walk with the War dog… Nothing happened this time, though.
Too soon it was time to pack and go home. All too awesome a weekend, despite the Steampunk Fair and the weather keeping many away.
Until next month folks…. See you all then!

Friday night - Drinking and Singing.
Saturday - Paling around with Hurgar, Cyric, Alander, Lathiel, and many others.
Pit fight went well, I was very happy with how it turned out. No one try that. Also there will be a rematch, it could involve a great johnny cash song.
Conversation with Don'Kallard went well.
Hanging around with Kit and crew, helping a bunch of new people with lifestyle improvement
Tavern grand opening between games. Go Blood and Beer
All the interrogate sessions
Pendarvin eating and hanging out.
I am excited may be bringing lots of McKraegars for a June invasion

I had a lot of fun this event
FRIDAY:
-Drow for about five minutes before I realized the makeup did not react well with my chaos star tattoo. After washing it out redoing my Wormwood makeup and explaining every time that it was her "political" (read middle finger) to Aliester. Later being told by Aliester he was trying to teach her a lesson but Ava not really getting it...yeah things like that go over her head.
-Billiam putting his plaid fabric over Ava's head turning her into "old Wormwood" in which Ava said "Brood brood angry brood"
-Talk with Atrus (all weekend not just the one on friday)
-Cloves cookout and giving Lorelai advice.
-Early morning siege by demons, using chaotic madness for my first time and running upstairs after Illana barricaded them on the other side of the entrance near the staircase. Running upstairs and banging on Drega'room going "ALIESTER THERE ARE DEMONSSSSS"
- I hadn't fought anything before then so I turned one into a stump. Then getting attacked by an altered Jack Cypher. I would have slain him (as he wanted to take it) but tired Christine hit the leg of the table...Ava cut a Dragon's Claw table in half...opps. Though I did get Daymares from this and I'm excited to have those
-Being yelled at by Morwenne for not informing someone of Jack's seemingly odd behavior earlier. Telling her that a dog does not speak for it's master, then Morwenne's retort of "You should have done it as a friend" and Ava making a noise that was the noise for "Friend? Hmmmmm IDK"
SATURDAY:
-Trying to go to the inn after waking up and help finish the tail end of a fight with demonic orges. Realizing I did not put sunscreen on my tattoo so going back down to Ostcliff then being attacked by more demonic ogres. Cutting one who was insulting her in half ( Dave) and taking an exploding goblin to the face. I had 2 body left after that explosion and limped to a healer claiming that I was "crispy"
- Being the subject for a break mind control lesson to which both Zelretch and Dr. Maxwell admitted "She's like the worst subject for this since she's already so crazy" With a later admisson from Maxwell that he has "..left her with enough will that she could have attacked " the student had he pissed her off. Also him asking if the red makeup was how you could tell she was a "chaos warrior" which illicited so many OOG laughs for multiple reasons then Ava offering to tell the long story of Wormwood then the student declining.
- Main mod, mook drow was fun even if I took many elbows and weapons to the face. If only I was like six inches taller....
-Pit fight was awesome though Ava only cheered for the Pocket Sand.
-Crippling a violent townsperson after he tried to break both of Zelretch's arms then proceeding to push the broken legs with her foot until she felt she had gotten her revenge on Zelretch's assault on his honor. Sure, Ava doesn't care much about her honor but trying to harm Zelretch is Ava's job.
SUNDAY:
-Extract Truth lesson. Taking Zelretch(who agreed to the lesson), and the question she learned from was "Do you actually love me" To which he admitted yes. Accidentally almost killing him while trying to inflict pain to him. Thankfully we had a healer and a guards member to watch them. Being told she would need to learn restraint to do such a delicate process.
-Missing the fight with chaos waste things, being disappointed by missing it.
-Being yelled at my Aliester again for insulting the Vanguard lesson for Annora. All just part of the chaos warrior vs cavalier divide.
-Learning Slam from Illana. The conversation of Ava launching herself into people was amusing.
-Being used in a Master Warrior lesson from Jack who told her to not just run and attack but to fight defensively. It went like this:
Jack: I need you to not attack him unless he attacks you.
Ava: So you are telling me I can't cut him in half?
Jack: Exactly
Ava: You realize who you are asking to do this right?
-Being called "mini Wormwood" to which Ava was like "I don't brood as much as him"
Hope to see you guys all for WiTL

FRIDAY NIGHT
Watching Keavey and Wife freak out on each other was amazing. I love seeing parts of wife's personality that don't come out often.
Midnight mass was amazing as always. Maralas is just wonderful. Angeliana was amazing as well. Pluvious was a fantastic addition. Romeo your singing was incredible, and learning you wrote that song really made it so much more awe inspiring. Everyone keeps pushing Caldor to be "clergy" and a "priest" when he just wants to be a simple "man of faith" or "shaman". Beleschand too...
Working on fixing Caelvan.
Off to the caves in the rain was NOT a great experience. I love the caves but I hated being in them in the rain. Ruindal pushed one of Wife's buttons.... thats two explosions in one day.
The tent was nicer than I thought, despite the rain. It was cool seeing Typhon Awakening the Grove around the statehouse.
Saturday
Morning was rough. I didn't sleep well, though that really helped me RP caldor's nightmares.
Its weird helping with orders when the character is bad with money and names. I hated being so swamped with kitchen work, as I had to pass on helping with the chroniclerite mod finale. I hear it was great, and wish I could have been there.
Wife's Lunch was amazing. I've always loved her sauce and meatballs, and I was so thrilled everyone else got them too.
Oh DEER!!! I was so happy to see this lovely faun again. I really wish I had more time to spend with her. Caldor really has a soft spot for her, and having her ask for his help with something made his afternoon.
I love Caldor the wedding planner. Its so much fun to be involved in these events.
Setting up the Wedding was amazing, so much awesome food from Goose and so many nice people coming. I'm glad I didn't have to stand in for Ruindal's family, her real relative would have been sad to miss it. Caldor was nervous about the strange bard, but someone assured him that Silus had hired him, so he was all good with it. I guess Caldor should have trusted his instincts. I was so sad to have to drop immediately from the "damage from Latent defenses", but i kept my eyes squinted enough to see the awesomeness that was what followed. I was sad Grim wasn't there, as I wanted to see if Bloody Roar would have helped.
Many have said it already, but the aftermath RP of the murder of Caliope was so hear wrenching... but thanks to Goose's preped special effects, many of us were honestly shocked too. I am glad Xod wasn't there, but he is already really sad to hear she is gone.
Walking with Meralas and talking altars and gaia was wonderful. Its going to be so wonderful once Kaladonea's altar is finished, and I love having people involved in "dedicating" and "designing" it. Passing by the Kaladonea fire pit makes it hard to leave, so we were late to Mass, but fortunately, not too late.
Bat Cooper gave a good mass, and I was happy to be part of it. Brother Aldric spoke wonderfully as well. Caldor tried to slip out before the "clergy" meeting, but they asked him to stay and help, so he did. It was a great thing, and I really look forward to what is going to be done to change the church in the future.
Got to talk to Typhon about the Gaian elements coming to Caldor, and was amazed by the response. Caldor is so proud to be Typhon's apprentice, and was honestly scared he was going to lose that.
I mostly missed feast, staying for the opening announcements, benediction and what not. I ate a little, but then wanted to head back to the fire pit. HOwever, Winks and Ib... damn guys, you rule. Discussing married life and 'conquests' was great. Caldor is so seeking you guys out again. Also loved shoveling more and more food on Nalick.
Main mod was moderific. The planning went well... but the explosion of the Wife/Ruindal issue made it harsh as well. Caldor actually yelled at someone himself, a break from his usual calmness (FYI to those involved, the yelling and frustration was Caldor's, I'm not mad at anyone).
I was VERY happy to see that main mod had three areas of attack, even if they were closely related. I can't speak about how the other two groups went, but Flower Brigade was a lot of fun. We had some misinformation on what we had to do, but it honestly made it more fun, as we had to scramble to protect ourselves, figure it out and keep the energy safe all at once. MAD PROPS TO KLEIDEN!!! Totem form for the win. Also props to Clytie for herding cats successfully, and to Joric for proving himself to be the ultimate Barbarian by diving through dark sorcery to save people, knowing he might not have a way back. SO glad I fated Gaia's Embrace this event, as it saved Keavy .
Favorite Quote of main mod was after Gideon did some massive White sorcery thing to break a barrier. Half of the area turned to Kleiden and was like... :"So Sexy... now we know why you are marrying him."
Post main mod I tried to recover and rest my feet up, but then I heard that Sister might give her life up... and I had to go talk to her. Caldor got to the Monastery to find her in a sanctuary over Oren's body, with others trying to talk her down. Caldor gave her his argument, then said he'd support whatever she did. However, more dead bodies kept streaming in, and eventually, Caldor had to step in to help on his own. Bringing back Hurgar was awesome, especially because I was able to have Dr. Maxwell observe like I did when he brought Grim back many moons ago. I really enjoy RPing that ability an I am thankful to Sam and Mikaela for their support and commentary during it.
Back to Kaledonea for bed, but again distracted by the fire pit. I love that damn fire pit. late night talk, foot drying and what not was amazing. I was actually kinda happy when necro blights attacked, as I had Annointed everyone there, and it was awesome to see it come into play.
Sleep... far to little sleep. Again played up the nightmares.
SUNDAY
Helping with breakfast again. Sorry to those who got cut off at the end due to my miscount.
It was a strangely calm sunday for me. No lessons given, no lessons taken.
I'm so glad I could bring Meldoy out for interactions with Wolf Keavy.
MAD Respect for Kanas for his brawling matches.
Thank you to Anhil for making the Owen Sindarian match 10x more interesting.
I had the most wonderful conversation with Nalick, and I really can't wait to have more of them in the future.
Ogers were a pain, just tried to use poison ivy to help protect people.
Dire Wolves made Caldor sad. We couldn't animal empathy them, nor could we convince them to go away or scare them away. Clove was proven right in this instance, and Caldor walked away to let the town do what it had to.
I can't think of an event in a long time where i was so sad to have Lay off approach. I really felt this event was the most emotionally, spiritually, and physically entrancing in a while. Hats off to James and everyone who was involved in running it.
Kitchen Side note:

Friday: Watching Gannon nearly cry laughing over the Underwear Delivery Man. Later having to use that underwear as a wig cap because I seem to have misplaced mine. Oops.
"Please tell me Aleister is in here." The beginning of the end. "ANGELICA WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE DROW DOWNSTAIRS" Clearly the answer is to have Billliamm hit her in the head with a plate until she tells us what we want to know. A+ job to May, Cappy, Mars, Gene and Matt (and anyone else involved). Also, Sean's face when he got there and I told him we were in charge because everyone else went to bed was priceless.
Saturday: Literally getting no sleep because I had to deal with drow on Friday and also be up before nine to get ready. Deering up for James and not finding out what I was doing with the PCs and the Glammer until I had a group of PCs to teach about Glammer (and then apparently still not knowing what I was doing, as I had no idea what was they were actually supposed to do on main mod) and I got to give out the flowers I made Thursday night, which I decided I was giving away right before I actually gave them out.
Knight Realms: The Red Wedding: The Musical. Alternatively titled "How to Make Zach Theis Cry in Under a Minute". Watching Nalick's face as he realised he dropped a Very Important Item somewhere, and interrupting the people being Very Honoured to meet Eralynn because of it.
Trying not to smile as Tim asked me why Steve was making him play Philadin. Drega'mire, the land of white dragon knights!
Thankfully not having to clean up a bloody smear of Steve off the ground after his fight with Gene.
Desecrating a dark ceremony with Aldric while asleep. I would say two or three holy words, fall asleep, wake up, continue on whichever word he was on, and then immediately fall asleep again. Victory: tired Valosians!
Sunday: Lessons with Swyft. What a series of tangents completely unrelated to the lesson eventually coming full circle!

This event was amazing for me and I loved it. There are way to many highlights so let me just put three down.
*Healer going in to catatonic fits because I was less then empathic when telling someone their husband had died. It was amazing to watch and RP with them. Thank you both for the fun RP. Also the RP with Ruindal before and after.
*Drow caves for main mod. The people with me saw a new side of Anhîl and I hope you enjoyed it. As for the fight it was so much fun to do and I loved working with each and everyone of you. I will find the matron and deal with her
*Cooking for people over at Kaledonia. I loved it. It was fun.
Thank you all for one of the best events I've had in a while.

First post layon arrival. Not so pleased to be getting signed in plainclothed while npcs are getting assignments...
Blacktree's drow interrogation - not for the faint of heart. Only my pc's obligation to the upkeep of law kept him there.
Back in enough light for it to be seen at the Dragon's Claw, and I can say the expense of a one shot prop was worth it, even if I had a hard time keeping from glancing around!
Discovering Chad already fully immersed! Welcome to Travance, Trent! To XXXX with wading in, cannonball!
Escorted a party back to Drega'mire for bedding down meant a lonely run back to the barracks. Not a wise decision when blind and during a full moon it turns out. Hooray blindfighting!
Imrahil: "Trip!" Unseen opponent: "Dodge." Flurry of roughly equal blows. I: "Trip!" UO: "Dodge." New flurry of blows. I: "Throw!" UO: "Dodge." More flurried blows. The break limb worked, but not in game; I am so sorry dude - you took it like a champ though. New round of flurried blows. I: "Throw!" UO: "Dodge." Imrahil, for the first time in a year, runs. Unsuccessfully. Lycanthrope apparently > 10 season warrior monk.
Second event in a row regaining consciousness in Alisandria's statehouse. Many thanks to those who came to my aid. I know Ginny by name, but the rest I have yet to meet in game. Oh, and the pickle was amazing! Later received my escort back to the barracks by none other than Don'Kellard! I'm going to call it off card luck. Light already in the sky... there goes my mind for the weekend.
Saturday: absentmindedness confirmed. Managed to recall my physreps back in the barracks before getting to Pendarvin.
Some light rp around the camp, another successful market faire.
Pledged allegiance to Drega'mire. I hope to prove an asset.
Interrupted on the way to fetch offerings for the wedding. Turned into some great play on a number of fronts. Great job npc gobs! Imrahil has himself some doozies of incident reports to file with the guard this month!
Carlos on officiant duty nailing it as usual, and Romeo couldn't have (imo) foreshadowed the conclusion more if his outfit was purple and yellow. Got divine/director intervention flight on angels wings off to kitchen duty right as stuff hit the fan.
Holli, Nate, Adam, Renee, Jenn, and so many others made feast prep and cleanup super snappy. Seriously folks, we owned that feast. Think I may have found another hat to wear here.
Main mod in Galen and Lorelai's crew! All I can say is well oiled machine!
A bit more rp around the inn before bed time. The response to Imrahil's cherry wine seems to me it will be back for next month and my ig/oog birthday!
Sunday went pretty slowly, but got my first MW lesson from Sir Cypher. All I can say is the scenario had me questioning my character for long enough to make some very uncharacteristic play, only to return to what was my characters instinctual response to the situation. Full-circle mind-four letters. Nicely done Gus! And Christine, nice job on trying to draw me in! Pesky racial defenses!
Can't wait to see you folks in June!

While it was a minor part of the event, and really only a small thing in the scope of this month, one event really showed me how much has changed for both Travance and Almat in one very important to her way.
At the end of my first event ever, if you had told me that in less than three years a Chroniclerite would give benediction at feast, I'd have laughed long and hard. If you had told me that it would be me, I'd have dragged you to a physician. The fact that in about 2 and a half years, 2 years of being a priestess, I got to give benediction absolutely floored me. I never saw it coming (and I hope it was okay! I didn't really have time to plan it!), and was really still in shock even as I was giving it. So, while a tiny part of why this was one of my best events ever, it really made a huge impact on me.
That said, seriously, this event was awesome.
First of all, getting to camp, signing in late, and not even having time to change into my proper footwear before being dragged into note taking! That was kinda crazy, but also quite fun.
Lots of research. As always. I got some good reading done of a book I brought.
Watching Chroniclerite mod. Dave and Conor, thanks so much for letting me be a part of that. It was a pleasure watching you all answer the riddles (even if sometimes I wanted to throttle you based on the answers).
So, going to the wedding, I had my hookah and I had my first ever bottle of Satyr's wine. I was looking forward to supporting Tobar, having some good food and drinks...
THANK YOU to Carlos, who's suggestion had me already impartially observing when Everything went down. The whole thing was amazing, the role playing I got to witness was fantastic....
And it really showed me how much impartial observer really steps Almat outside of what's happening. The Hollow Song left, I followed them til they gated out, and then returned and stopped impartially observing, and only then started crying.
Meeting the daughter of Rowena, seeing Maja in a panic, dealing with Walora, all after watching Calliope's murder...so many emotions. Wow.
It also colored the rest of the event, as all I wanted to do was sit down and research how to take them down. Instead, I first had to deal with Druid research, and sitting and waiting for Typhon to return was so hard.
Again, feast.
Helping prep my team for main mod. It's fun getting to rp my archcasting, and changing it based on whether it's divine or bardic.
Sunday morning was low key and fun overall, though nothing specifically stands out for me right at this moment.

P.S.
For those worried about the folks inside the grove when the wall went up, you needn't have worried.
Inside the Grove:
Aldric looks around and sees he is rear guard with psycho Keavy, Joric joins us, and some of the others and says: "Look at this motley group we are." In my/Aldric's head (Those poor Drow Bastards).
Quote of the Night: "You think you have me locked in here with you.... YOU are locked in here with ME."
Summary of next twenty minutes: Murderface... then: Keavy: "Ok guys nothing left in the Grove to kill."

Whoa.
Right after lay-on, sitting down in the Inn and writing poems by candlelight. Seriously awesome.
Taking up Mother Maralas' offer, I decided to go to Gaian Mass. Before I went, Ilana and Danny warned me about walking alone at night and gave me buffs. I used a scroll of Invisibility that I'd been carrying around for almost a year. Part of the way into my trip, it saved my life. Two men leaped out of the shadows and attempted to assassinate me. They would have, but for that scroll. Moments later I arrive, unscathed, at the Baronial Manor and knock on the door. Inside, I'm greeted by Caldor.
"Nalick! I was worried you wouldn't be able to come."
"I was too."
I thoroughly enjoyed the mass. The premise of Mother Maralas' and Angeliana's speeches were incidentally what Nalick needed to hear, which led to seeking out Caldor for advice on Sunday afternoon. I am still chuckling about the analogy that Caldor made.
Later that night was my NPC shift. A full-time NPC and I were sent out as bounty hunter partners back from a job. It ended with my NPC getting into a drunken swordfight with Namit and someone waylaying me. Then, getting tickled while someone checked my pockets and boots for loot.
Then sleep.
It's always nice to get up on time for food, even if it's lunch and not breakfast.
I headed down to Peonia and Nadya's tent for hookah, drink, and conversation. That was relaxing.
Then I was at the Caravans while everyone was setting up for the wedding. Ruindol wondered what was taking Morwenne so long, so I offered to go find her. After being told she was probably in the Monastery, I headed there to find out there had been a "cosmetic explosion" and that she would be there soon.
Back at the wedding. A lovely ceremony until the wicked bards showed up. I managed to escape, bruised, and made my way to Kaledonia. Trisana protected the both of us from a corrupted bear and then healed me while I told her and Dmitri what had happened. Two men come running up the path asking, "Are either of you Nalick?"
"I am."
"There are no less than 20 people looking for you."
Little old Nalick, perplexed as heck. Once back at the Caravan fields, Clytie comes at me at full speed shouting my name before giving a big hug.
There's a crowd of people and I'm asked for a special artifact.
"Oh, that's right here in my satch--" and I start digging around in my bag, unable to find it. "I could swear it was right here."
"WHERE IS IT!?"
Ruindol orders me to retrace my steps, and I do. Within roughly a minute, Ruindol finds it nearby to where I'm paused and frustrated at myself. We make our way back, the artifact safe, and the story rolled on.
That's when I hear people mention Calliope, so I ask what happened. Unfortunately, they told me. I expressed deep regret for fleeing, but everyone I spoke with told me that there was nothing I could have done. Cue un-Andorran thoughts about the 'Hollow Song'.
Caldor telling Clytie that I would make a good shield. Clytie noted that I was a bit too skinny for that job, so Caldor darts over to the refreshment table and comes back with a handful of desserts. Then at Feast, notes a lack of food on my plate -- I was almost done -- and piles on some more. To be fair, I finished the rest without struggle.
Feeling manly in the flower brigade
Talking with Evee about various things, complimenting her on her quick grasp of sarcasm, which she learned from Annora (!), and sharing my poetry.
Hearing Cecilia quietly singing a song and asking her to write down the lyrics. Sunday afternoon, she returned the favor by asking Nalick to teach her one of his songs. That was one of my more enjoyable moments.
Speaking with Master Silverbow about joining the Mages Guild after inquiring about Clytie.
A nice conversation with Faila and Master Silverbow, although all I remember is Faila sharing her ale and me making corny jokes.
IMPROMPTU SONG CIRCLE! Sunday afternoon, I asked Croi when the next song circle would be. Someone else at the table said we should have one right now and it happened! Burkhart and Sindarion each sang songs. I told a story that I will tell again at the next circle. I love spontaneous fun.
Flipping through my book and Scout noting the title to a rather bawdy song on one of the pages. I attempted to hide it, which turned into everyone trying to take my book away. I tore the sheet out of my book and almost ate it before Kanas pulled it away with Bear Strength. Then I got it back, but Evee took it and ran off. When I chased her, she blew me back with a gust of wind and then floated about 20 or 30 feet into the air. As it turns out, she didn't know how to read, or at least told me so.
I gave my blank shield to Peonia to paint something on it for me.
My mind was in the gutter a lot, and there were moments when I would laugh and no one would know why. Thankfully, I can't remember any of what was said.
Melody was wonderful and so, so fluffy. I loved when Keavy assumed her wolf form and the two of them played together. It was adorable.
I found out that my satchel can hold most anything, including a folded-up blanket. That received quite a bit of usage, when people were actually cold and also draping it over someone snoozing on the murder couch. It's sure to make a return, as will I.

I loved playing the role of Jester and entertainer at the wedding! I tried to interact with everyone as much as I can, I hope you call enjoyed the song I sang (I wrote that song btw) I really do hope you all enjoyed the wedding, I tried to give 110% to make it that you all would remember it.
Gaian Mass....I was sooo scared you guys to since that song, I wrote it myself and it seems like the more personal the song is it seems that I get so nervous that others will not like it.
Healer Metting went well and I was so happy to see a good chunck of you

So there I am, about to put my last costume bits on to play Orophin Saturday morning and Steve walks in all "You should play your other character, trust me."... so I do... fast forward to an quite epic and mostly needed nap into feast and getting woken up to go to said feast. As I put my boots on, and wonder why it was necessary to be Philidin and why I was getting woken up to go to feast it hits me as I'm walking down the stairs... Aleister gets called up to make an announcement and my suspicious were confirmed. Also I think a few people congratulated me before I realized what they were talking about.
A+ surprise, would surprise again.

This was a really really awesome weekend for me. Friday night was lovely - Friday nights are usually my favorite time – hanging out at the bar, drinking satyrs wine at the empty bloody stump, and meeting the King of the dark elves. Two great conversations were with NPC bodyguard Kaylen ()and the Prime’arch himself. They just kept answering questions so I kept asking them…..
Ginny: So what’s the second thing you’re most proud of?
Don: Destroying the houses and rewriting history?
Ginny: Well, that’s a given. What else?
Saturday I got some baubles at the fair, played my instrument, and then hung out with some gypsies smoking hookah and playing music. That was when Calliope showed up, hung out, and insisted that we all go to Tobar’s wedding.
Julius/Romeo was creepy awesome even before anything else happened. Then stuff happened. Oh the feels. And Tobar gets her guts all over his face…. wow. Took a while to calm down from it - I was so worked up IG I kept tearing up for reals. Of course Carlos read Ginny’s cards and Calliope showed up in them too. Oooooooh goodness.
I loved sitting on a barrel just playing away. As background music. I was a little surprised by a moment of silence… for a bard…. But the clanging plate was a nice touch. Somehow I think Calliope may have been the one who jiggled his arm.
I got a couple lessons done before & after feast, but one in particular was an opportunity to take my char in an interesting direction. Thanks – you know who you are.
I was planning on leaving after NPCing main mod, but I was so worn out I decided to just sleep and leave in the morning. Even then I got out later than I anticipated because I just love hanging out with my KR family. LOVE YOU GUYS.

Alex and I were only at Camp Sac for about 8 hours on Saturday, but so many good moments. Although we had NPC'ed several months before we brought PCs in game, this marked Faila and Nostarion's one year anniversary in Travance. Highlights include:
• The post wedding RP that led to Faila's attempt to calculate how many units of mithril it would take to forge a teapot large enough for Clytie and Jed. Some images you just can't shake, even if you want to.
• An excellent Tower mod. Terrific NPCs, chaotic alteration, seriously injuring my friends, and some great RP - so fun. This was my final Tower mod and I was happy it included Alander who Faila met on her first day in Travance. along with a lot of other new/ish players I have had the pleasure of getting to know. Kudos to Matt and Katie for all of your hard work on behalf of the new players, it is appreciated and I will miss it (but I'm happy to NPC for you).
• Finally having time for Faila and Keavy to meet about Faila's smithing mark and Dani's beautiful and spot-on artwork. I am so excited to get to use it on things.
• My final lower list smithing lessons.
• Yummy and well-served feast. Thank you to the kitchen staff this event!
• Main mod. Wow. The glade was beautiful and creepy at the same time. Sister Danae's pre-battle complaining about our small group was spot-on as was her lecture to Faila about following orders. Kanas and his drow hate. The fighting was grand. But the all time best moment was when John T's drow insulted Faila by calling her mother a w***e (or something equivilent). I haven't shared backstory widely at all and I am confident there is no way he could have known that was the one thing he could say that would make Faila lose it and she did - I got to killing blow 4 before another drow attacked and I had to defend. Faila wanted his sword, but no such luck. Thank you John and all the main mod NPCs.
• Having a chance for some of Faila's Quinarian arrogance to show a bit - some humans can just be dumb sometimes
• Finally, we had to leave before main mod ended, and I want to thank the many people who expressed concern that we take the right path back (no worries, I had a flashlight and a good sense of direction), but I really do appreciate your care (and apologize for getting in the way of the action on the path).
Thank you to James, the staff and everyone who was involved in the event. Hope to see you all at least briefly during WITL.
