Awards for January, 2015
Sean Moulson as Ser Anhil Shadesar
Sean Moulson's portrayal of Anhil dealing with empathic powers and responding to other people's pain consistently throughout the weekend was on point. Where many people struggle to roleplay their own pain, Sean reacted both to his own and that of the people around him.
Chris Langevin as the Cheveyo Bone Reader
Chris was spot on as his shaman this event. His ability to quickly “read” bones and instantly come up with information relating to the players interacting with him was nothing short of amazing. His emotional response to learning of the Elk’s death was felt by all who witnessed it, and overall his portrayal of a tribal wise man was quite convincing.
An honorable mention goes to everyone who played the Elk. They ran around camp for hours each in a heavy and cumbersome costume, despite the foot of snow on the ground, and their interactions with players really made a lot of people’s events.
Matt Calo
Not only does he spend the majority of his event NPCing where he is needed and doing marshal shifts, but Matt also spends a huge amount of time as his PC finding new ways to get plot information out to any player who is looking for it. From keeping and maintaining a history of past Scholar’s Table Notes to providing excerpts from the Prologues and Epilogues for the populace to read, Matt’s dedication to record keeping and spreading information knows no bounds.
