Brik Brockles
Brik. There's the obvious comic aspect to the goblin mute, and Sonya did a great job holding to that all weekend. But when you talked to her, you also found out there's a tragic aspect to that character, one that she also played well and that she turned on like a switch when you started asking questions about why she's mute. Not just because she stuck with a tough role-play bar she set for herself, but because the character is much more than what is obvious. Thank you!Alex B. and Kristen M.
Kristen M. and Alex B. as the True Gargoyle and Alexander the Pentier Knight. They were both great, but their interaction with each other was a wonderful thing to watch. He was so determined to get at her and she just mocked him as she scooped Archangel blood from its skull with one of its feathers. They also both looked excellent as well going all out on makeup and costume, role-playing dramatic hatred of each other and sensational battle scenes.
Jackie GIBS!
She gave her all this weekend and spent a majority of her time OOG doing things to help other people rather than playing. She cooked feast, sold raffle tickets, and NPCed a Low-Level mod. She even sat down for Main Mod, taking care of people with heat-related health issues, remaining cheerful and buoyant the whole time through. She deserves more than an award, she deserves a medal. She even woke up extra early on Saturday to go look at decorated cabins. Thanks Jackie! You rock!
Lyle & Rubious
We're happy to report that two new cabins have both been selected this month. Andy & Adam's cabin as Lyle & Rubious: It was easy to be impressed with their spread. They had chests, lanterns, and carpet outside. Inside, all OOG stuff was hidden away behind more hangings, rugs, etc. They had a shrine with the bones of someone they had killed, surrounded by runes. I just got that warm, fuzzy feeling being in there.
Gwen & Amizar
We're happy to report that two new cabins have both been selected this month. Gwen & Amizar's cabin was done up as an herbalist's shop. It was welcoming and all the goods were laid out for display. It was done up extremely well and it just goes to show how much can be done with a small cabin. Great job and keep up the good work!
