Awards for Week in the Life, 2014
Alice Anderson as Mother Angeliana
Alice really thrived this month, with her character throwing anyone she interacted with for a loop, even after she had left. The emotional drive she displayed all throughout the week really showed a new side to her, that won't be forgotten so easily. Great job Alice!
Because the WITL had such amazing RP from everyone, it seemed only right that we give more than one PC award...
Jeff B. as Nalick Underhill, John H. as Atrus, and Jenna L. as Hazar
All three of these players showed top-notch performance in three entirely different roles. Jeff really showed his commitment to the Bardic arts and was always able to produce eloquent poems and stories on the spot. John gave a compelling take on his role of the Dark Clergyman, able to withstand the criticisms of the most distrustful townspeople and present his tenants in ways that made people assist his Dark ceremonies who would not have dared set foot on such a site a year ago. Jenna's portrayal of a newcomer from a foreign land, struggling at first with the language barrier, then with the customs of the land, brought a compelling perspective to the event and fueled a lot of great interactions with the players. You all deserve a nod for helping make this weekend amazing for everyone!
Chris M. as The Mime and Curt Pantuso, Full Time NPC
Chris M. as The Mime:
There were many memorable figures in the Circus Schmirkus, but one in particular managed to really steal the spotlight, all without saying a word. Chris' Mime act left players equal parts entertained and disturbed, and he managed to leave everyone guessing with nothing but his body language to show it. Nice work Mac...you left us "speechless".
Cur Pantuso:
On the opposite end, Curt has shown a great amount of effort and dedication all week with the roles he was given, from the smallest merchants to combating the PCs, he really shows dedication in never slacking when he's in-character.
Chris Lagevin and the Medical Team
Chris did an excellent job helping the Storytellers with their plot all throughout the week, acting as their eyes and ears and being all over the place to relieve some of the hecticness of ensuring an event is run properly. Thanks for all of your hard work Chris!
As well, we'd like to thank the Medical staff for being readily available the entire event, and not hesitating to immediately drop their in-game matters to attend to the injured. A longer event means more chances for people to get hurt, and they were always prepared and on the scene quickly to help. Thanks for keeping us safe!
Alisandria, Kaladonia, and the Romani Tent
It was so hard to find a clear-cut winner for this month's Cabin, so we've made it a 3-way tie! Alisandria and Kaladonia were both major gathering hubs for the week and with good reason. Fires were always blazing, the smell of food was welcoming to everyone, and the players really kept the areas alive with roleplay. Janice and Ashley's Romani Tent was also exemplary; but for entirely different reasons. Even when there was nobody around it, it still gave off a mystical, yet slightly-used wares vibe that captures their characters essence perfectly.
Keep up the good work, everyone!
