Here are some last minute announcements for the Banquet. Please read through them and check back during the next day or two as ill continue to add any more last minute details here. – James

PAYING FOR 2ND CHARACTER
Paying for a second character is $20 base, and 5$ for each additional build. 

SIGN-IN
Sign-in will be held from 6:15-7:00. Please be sure that you have arrived by then.  I do realize that some of you have to be late because of special circumstances. Sign-in must go as quick as possible. There will be a table in front of the room. At the table, everyone should form a line and have their money ready. After you pay you'll shift over to the right and one person will give you your card; shift to the right again and one person will sign your card for the build and give you your auction tickets.

AUCTION TICKETS
You get one for coming and four extra for each point of build you purchase.. If you wish you may purchase more for one dollar each. Make sure you separate all your tickets and write your name on the back of each one of them before putting them into one of the three containers.

CHARACTER CARDS
You will receive your character card. There will be an asterisk in the 'skills learned' section. Please write the name of the skill you want to learn as well as the build cost for that skill next to the asterisk.  Above that in the Service Point section you will find a circled number next to another number. The circled number will be a 1, 2 or 3 to represent the three tiers of sp auctions to be held at the end of the night. 1 = 1-1000SP / 2 = 1000 – 10,000 SP / 3 = 10,000 + You will ONLY be allowed to participate in the SP auction that you are set for: 1, 2,or 3.  Next to the circled number will be your total number of Service Points that you have at your disposal for this auction. 

PLEASE LISTEN
With so many people it can be hard to hear what's going on if your talking, and that's fine as long as no one is speaking at the microphone. Please, whenever you hear someone speaking at the microphone please, immediately get quiet and listen. This is extremely important for both the flow of the ceremonies and the respect given to the speaker. I can't stress this enough. We didn't have a problem with this at all in previous years, and Id like it to remain that way. Thanks for your cooperation in this.

TIME
It starts at 7pm. You can come to sign in as early as 6:15. Please, be there on time! Try to factor possible traffic into your travel schedule to be safe. The banquet is four hours from 7pm to 11pm, and everything is fit into a tight time schedule. If you arrive after 7:30 you will start to miss VERY important aspects of the banquet and if you come even later than that you may miss the dinner. So please make every possibly effort to be at this function on time.  If you are nominated for an award and will be late please make sure I know so I can push back that particular award until after you arrive. 

COMMON COURTESY
This is definately an event to have a blast and talk with all of your friends. And for 75% of the event it's expected and encouraged. However, please make sure that when someone steps up to the microphone and begins to speak, (especially for the awards part of it) you give that speaker your utmost respect by paying attention and listening quietly.

SMOKING
Some of you are probably smokers. You cannot smoke in the banquet hall. Please try to refrain from going on smoking breaks during the awards part of the ceremony as you might miss something, including your own name being called. 

COURTESY TO THE HOTEL
As you will soon find out or as you know from last year, this is an excellent hotel and banquet hall. We will want to hold these ceremonies every year at this very same hotel, so we will want to make sure that nothing happens that will cause our relations with the hotel management to be strained.  So please just keep that in mind while on the hotel premises.

DRESS
I strongly urge everyone to look his or her absolute best. This is a formal awards dinner so please do it up as well as you can for this event and try to look your best. Thanks.

VEGETARIAN / SPECIAL DISH
If you are one of the vegetarians who prearranged for a vegetarian dinner, when the waiter brings you your main course, politely ask him to bring you a vegetarian meal instead. The same holds true for the one sugar-free dessert. Kate make sure you inform the waiter that you are the glutton free guest. They should have one meal prepared for you.
