The 24-Hour Game
Knight Realms is a 24-Hour game - that is, it runs around the clock, even when you are sleeping! Once Lay-On is called, the game is in session until Wrap-Up on Sunday.

During this time, in order to preserve atmosphere and immersion at the event and to promote fairnes for all players, the following rules are in effect:

Players should be In-Game at all times. Unless a character is clearly defined as Out-Of-Game (such as using a white headband), they are assumed to be In-Game.
Players that are OOG should return IG, or leave IG areas for an OOG area, as soon as possible. Extended OOG activity or socializing in an IG area during game play will result in a Rules Violation.
Players are required to sleep IG, if playing a PC. If you must sleep OOG for medical reasons, you are required to have your Character Card marked off by the Director or Safety Deputy.
If you wish to switch characters, you may only do so at period change, or immediately upon waking up if asleep during a period change. If you are awoken by combat or an encounter, you are playing the PC you went to sleep as. You may not choose to switch characters prior to going to sleep. Any exceptions require Director approval.
Players that enagage in PvP activity may be asked to play the involved character by the Director. Players that attempt to avoid the repercussions of IG actions by going OOG, leaving the site, or switching characters, within 6 hours of PvP activity, will be given a Rules Violation at the very least.
