All Sorcery Cast, Treasure Acquired, or Items Purchased through Gold and/or SP, of both Perm. and Temp. nature with any Valance abilities will be re-written or compensated according to the following options.
1) 200g per Valance ability, which is then removed from the item.
or
2) Exchange of the Valance ability with two spells of up to 4th rank.
The following items are exempt from this change.
Items awarded via the Annual Award's Banquet
Smithing Promo: Legendary Work*
Mithril Pledges*
* - Only ONE Valance ability may be bound to this type of item.
Also, all remaining uses of the skill "Resist" in surviving items including those awarded via the Annual Award's Banquet, the Smithing Promo: Legendary Work or a Mithril Pledge will be changed from Periodic to Event Based.

Due to the nature of the changes to Higher Lists and Items, Check-In will be opening at 5pm Sharp. There will be an area designated to report to for card modifications with Card Officer Jason Turqman heading. There will also be an area to have your items modified at. You will have a two event grace period to have these items re-written, in case you cannot make it early enough for sign-in or can't make the event, however the effected items cannot be used until they are re-written, so please attempt to come to sign in with your items in-hand.
