The Timing of Land System Actions was created by Gunnar Gunnarson (jhines0042)
It has come to our attention that there is room for confusion about when Land System Actions take place.
So going forward this is the way we will be handling that confusion. There will be three phases to the time between events.
After an event concludes the Land System Actions will be opened up and there will be a two week window in which people can enter their Actions. During this time you can talk about what you plan to do but none of your actions can be considered to have actually started. This will be called the Planning and Submission Phase.
Once the Planning and Submission Phase is done we will close the Land System to new actions being submitted and your action (or lack of action) for that turn will be locked in. There will be a very brief phase then in which we will determine what happens as a result of the actions. This should be no more than a day or two if things are running smoothly. During this time if you get questions from us, please answer them promptly.
Once this phase is done we will post an update of the status of the Land. Lately I have been timing this to come after the Prologue gets posted but that is not a guaranteed thing. If you haven't heard back from us specifically then your action is considered to have gone off as you described and you are free to RP about it as though it has started and has been going on for some time.
Despite this three phased approach the actions you take are considered to take up the bulk of the time between the events. But simply put we can't do anything that is Real Time in the Land System without it becoming a giant chore for everyone.
If you have any questions, as always, please let us know.

One more quick rule change with the Land System. If your character has not been played at a live game within the last 6 months you will not get to perform any Land System actions. This may mean that the first event back after a long break you may not have the option until the very end of the turn to submit your actions as this is keyed off of the last time the character card was updated. If you have not played a character in a while and wish to ensure that you get a land action, please send an email to to ask me to reactivate your character because you attended the last event and I'll take care of you.
