I apologize for not getting all of this info up sooner, I was trying to post it all together and had not yet gathered it all. Here is out of game info on the festival. Expect an in-game post with details of the festivals events to follow within a day or two.

When: Saturday, February 2nd 2008
Where: The Spiegel’s House - 215 Dark Hollow Rd. Pipersville,PA  18947
How Much: $25 with the option to purchase up to 3 additional Build at $10 each.
Build Blanket: 5 (+0 - +3)

Misc. OOG Details:
- The Spiegel’s House has been graciously offered to be used in addition to the property. The House is heated and actually looks extremely medieval inside. Obviously no combat is allowed in the house, and no smoking in the house either.

- There is plenty of space, both open fields and wooded trails. It is a well secluded property away from the road and from other houses.

- We will also be dressing up the barn as a pub. I will run an electric heater in it, so that there is an additional heated area.

- Cans with sand will be placed around for cigarette butts. Cigarettes not placed in cans should be field stripped.

- There will be new/unused portable toilets on the premises, and saniwipes provided as well.

- There will be hot drinks and hot soup and stew made available, in addition to the regular drinks and the feast.

- Parking instructions will be announced a few days before the festival. There are two different parking areas, dependant on how solid the ground is from any rain.

- Any further OOG announcements will be posted below as they come up.

- Start time will be 10 AM. Anyone traveling long distances are welcome to stay at the house the night before and/or the night after. If you plan to do so, send a PM to Geezer and give him your e-mail address so he can contact you to make arrangements.

Kate, Maybe just food. We will be providing the feast, however we can never have too much food to make it more feast like, so donations for large dishes of food would be greatly appreciated! :) Just let me know if you are planning to bring food, so I can know what to expect.

Matt, Giant Chess is cool, We will think about it... an in-game announcement should be going up real soon.

If someone is unable to attend this event, can we treat it like other festival events and pay for it anyway just to get the build and possible self-teach or not?

Paul, If you mean the self teach one new skill perk, no festival's are not self teach events. Only the banquet is a self teach event unless otherwise specified. The primary reason we made the ball be a self teach event is to preserve the atmosphere of the event so that it didn't turn into people trying to learn to shoot fireballs for half the night.

As for your other question yes you will be able to purchase the festival and any available build at the next event should you not be able to attend.

About the in-game post
I want to take a moment and state with absolute clarity that we have no pre-conceived notion of who would be named in-game to govern over Mordavia. We have not discussed player names or character names, nor will we. I plan to role-play the Count and make the decision completely in-game based on whatever happens at the festival much like how William was spontaneously chosen to be Steward of Travance as the baron left.

EDIT
Also, whomever is chosen can still play events as their character. Their character would simply travel to Travance for the Baronial Feasts, as many others do.

Paying for Multiple Characters
The cost for paying for a secondary character will be reduced to 15 for the admission and 5 for each build. So a second character with full extra build would be 15+15 = $30

PLEASE NOTE: The full weekend event starting Feb. 29th has been declared as the February event, meaning this festival is NOT the February event, as previously stated.  This means that the Festival is NOT eligible for monthly card skills such as Gather Reagents and Trade / Commodity Cards, and also Lifestyle Build.
