You can't meditate while falling, and once in rock body, you wouldn't be in a position to fall unless some type of plot affect occured. Even then I'd say the ground falling out that supported you definitely broke your concentration.
The previous ruling stands, you would need multiple uses of "feather body" to fall safely. Coincidentally, there is a max of 5 uses.

I think you need to update psions there the most underpowered list in the game i mean really they need to be made buffer and there skills need to be cheaper

Concerning John's question about falling, what if one were falling a from a great height and waited until 100 feet from the ground b efore calling their fist skill and then the second at 50 feet (just to be safe on the distances. Is the previous velocity maintained? Would it work?
