You may notice some unique mechanics and/or props this weekend. As tempting as it may be to OOG destroy the props, please don't. We like our spoopy things and would like to have the chance to reuse them.
The big props are only destroyable by certain IG means that you will find out at the event. If you think you have found one of these, please see Chris Zipeto, Jacob Ferragamo, or Walter Soto-Liebman.
Unique mechanics you may see:
- Implant Sapling: Acts as per Enslave, time limit is until sapling is removed. Once you are taken over by a sapling, you are forced to attack others. This is defendable with a Deflect ONLY. As you are not being mind-controlled, a Willpower will NOT work.
- Hurl: 50 ft throw in any direction, 50 Damage is taken, and 2 broken limbs of the target's choice. Defendable by Melee
- Horrific Devour: As per Devour, but it heals 50 Body, puts target into Blue Headband.
- Blighted Ground - (Attack, Metaphysical, Area of Effect) All targets within 20 ft take 10 Drain. This can only be defended by Negate, or anything that defends area of effect attacks.
- Unnatural Transposition - the NPC may touch a tree and instantly escape combat. This does not count as a Gate.
- Control Blight - (Attack, Metaphysical, Line of Sight) This acts as a Dominate effect against anyone suffering from Blighted Resurrection (with an X on their face). Multiple targets may be controlled at once. It is undefendable. Indomitable Will does work as a defense.
