Wounded Warrior Project, part 2 - Sept 10 - Dec 10

Our winter fundraiser will be for the Wounded Warrior Project.  We raised money for them last winter, and I have been encouraged to hold another fundraiser this year by you, the players and supporters of the KR family, especially around the holidays. I encourage you to visit me at opening cermeonies for each winter event and donate what you can.  Its going to a great cause.  A cause that has already helped members of KR and those within their community.

WWP's legislative program strives to support injured service members by advocating for positive changes in benefits and veterans policy. If you are in need of assistance with VA benefits, Wounded Warrior Project can help. WWP is a VA accredited organization and has very experienced staff to help veterans with their VA claims.  

The Wounded Warrior Project's Policy program creates and pursues legislative and policy changes that will benefit severely wounded service members and disabled veterans of the current military conflicts. With advice and input from the wounded service members and families we serve, we develop policy and legislative proposals covering the range of problems they face.

Prizes:


1st prize:   Dowrey of Lady Amanda Ulrath  Perm. item/lesser artifact.

This item appears to be a tarnished silver necklace studded with stones of amber and marbel.  It was said to be the dowery of a Kormyrean Lady during the first age to the family of her suitor.  No one can remember the exact story of the necklace or how it was lost, but rumors of a curse are said to accompany any who owns it.  The few merchants who have investigated it in the past were made aware of the following powers it grants its wearer.

1:  Keep lesser undead 10' away from wearer after activated for 10 minutes, 3 x an event.

2:  Resist any 2 attacks made by an undead or extra plannar creature against the weilder.

3:  Immune to sense life abilities.



2nd Prize:  Figurine of Arcane Power  Perm. item.

This item appears as a small 2.5 inch mithril figurine of a wizard holding a small crystal orb.  Once an arcane caster takes hold of this item, they are able to access its 2 properties.

1: 20 pt power point gem

2:  Surgecast 3 spells per event.  (These spells must be cast into item and powerpoints are not able to be refreshed by the caster until the stored spell is used up.)



3rd Prize:  Carved Dragon's Fang  Must be recharged after 1 calendar year, temporary item.

Carved from the fang of a lesser Dragon, this maroon carving of a coiled dragon grants the owner the ability to resist up to 2 attacks from an enemy.  In addition, it bestows a +1 strength.
