It was a solid event, even if my lame self passed out at parts of it.
A reminder to Logistics, send something to the Inn during main mod if you can? Please?

If you wanted action, why didn't you go on the mod?

That can be pretty hard when all the NPCs are fighting on main mod.
If you wanted action, why didn't you go on the mod?
The same reasons Odo doesn't go much on some mods. It is involved in a short space, it involves close quarters combat, the Inn is defenseless.

Some great make-up by Ralph, great costuming on the whole group and Rosa's cool hat
Some really nice armor and some cool costumes, Can't wait to see what people wear for snow
Sad that none of my garlic was bought but I did sell some blankets at Marketplace
Feast was great, for dinner and for breakfast
What an interesting mod, Celerities none withstanding and cries of "Raise Graveyard", that hallway was great, I was the hand at the start of the cave in case no one recognized me. And found some holes in the crowd to attack some lower bodied heroes with my Crit 12 damage. Seemed even if you didn't fight any of the big vamps you got some action against the undead. Some ninja skeleton was moving like a small cat through the outer ranks.
Sunday was fun, had some great action as a lone lizardkin sneaking up on 3 unsuspecting victims and then running afoul of a huge group in Kaladonia with a psycho Satyr
Best thieves group ever, looked for gold... I meant prayer, in the monastery, but got interrupted by Justice (Nicely done by the way) got killed and disarmed with no help from my gang, and then called down like 15 people with cries of "Thief" and "Guards". While trying to plead my case over Justice's explanation I was told to be quiet and as I walked away I said under my breath, "ewwww" and limped my wrist. The second I turn I see some Lord barreling down on me, so I leg it only to die very quickly.

No offense, but sitting in the Inn waiting for a mod, whatever else may be going on at the time, is the wrong approach to being an active member of the game world. Go out there and find out what's going on, but don't sit back and wait for it to find you.
Oh, I do. But my reasons for sitting in the Inn are IG, not OOG.

In Tom's defense - he's playing a large Orc, with a large 2-Handed weapon. Fighting in a tunnel with a ceiling is exactly the kind of thing he'd want to avoid IG, especially when there's 100+ allies with him and in his way. (That, and given the events of the weekend, staying in the Inn is FAR more preferable than wandering the woods alone, IG or OOG.)
Sometimes good RP gets in the way of doing what's fun OOG, but that's a part of the RP.

- Canadian Only Dinner at the Mug.
- Being paid to be a pillow
- Ego booster "You're very beautiful, how come you haven't found a husband?"
- The return of the Coffeemancer
- Managed to avoid the Mortal hunters
Saturday
- Meeting Roy for the first time as I woke up in the same room with him
- Learning to fight with a staff in conflicting methods
- Market fair, making a killing on Reeses Pieces and home-made cookies
- Finding out there was a Mages Guild meeting while I was selling and getting Kale to finish selling cookies for me while I rushed off to find Simthalas before I got in heckers
- NPC shift, another ego booster.
"You're going to be a ballroom dancer for Pasmerga, find something fancy to wear."
Changing in the backroom with Judge, Ralph and Quaggs' backs turned for lack of space, telling them they can look again when changed and having Judge exclaim ,"Damn, girl! You can dance for me anytime!"
- Ballroom Dancer mod: You all just jumped in and started dancing! Genious!
- Missed feast due to the need to wash off the grey makeup
- Cancelled pumpking carving contest that I won by making an Illusionary Script pumpkin. Give me my prize, Tobar!
- Main Mod was an amazing chaotic wreck
- Inertia Barrier of awesomeness
- Kyo had kittens, please watch out not to step on them
- Pesmerga scares me
Long ride home to endulge in a wonderful turkey dinner. Nom nom nom.
Great weekend folks! So glad we could make it down!

-- Kate and Alisia, you guys are amazing. From making costumes to painting to listening to Tom complain endlessly and everything in-between, you were there every step of the way, and we couldn't have done it without you. You're the best.
-- Ralph, the makeup looked awesome. There is no way we would have ever been able to get the look we wanted without you. You were great, even if you did rip a facial prosthetic off my face. Jerk. Plus, your portrayal of Red was creepy and disgusting. In short, it was perfect.
-- B.Rizzle, your help setting everything up was huge man. There was so much stuff going on that we definitely would have had a hard time keeping up if you hadn't been there. You made it possible to keep everything running on time.
-- Joe Bondi, I don't know where you found that mask, but seeing you lumbering around was some of the scariest shit I've ever seen in my life. We knew from day 1 that you were meant for that role, and you did an awesome job setting the tone for the weekend.
-- Wally, your help setting up for main mod was invaluable. I also have to give you props for retiring your PC to remain as part of the plot. That's hardcore dude. Plus, you're totally cuddly and adorable.
-- Last but not least, James, MattW, Roy, and the rest of the storytellers. You guys helped us get past countless roadblocks and made sure that everything would run smoothly. Without you guys and your input, I'm sure it would have been a trainwreck.
Highlights
- Hoisting Judge, who is terrified of heights, into the tree over and over again during the test runs to make sure that he wouldn't die.
- Getting to set up the slaughterhouse with Judge and my sister. The hilarity that ensued while elbows deep in jello-wrestling jello, sloshing it around the cabin, cannot be put into words.
- Derrick's reaction while in said slaughterhouse: "Awwwe it hit me the face!". I had to shove my fist into my mouth to keep from laughing out loud.
- Not actually choking to death while playing the Oracle of Death. I had envisioned that mod taking way longer than it did, but I'm not sure I would have made it much longer haha.
- "Is the ghoul lost?" I don't know how I got lost after making that hike 5 times previously, but thanks for knowing where we were and saving my ass Cooper.
- 4,3,3,7. I'm still not sure how the hell that actually worked.
- The guy whose first event it was and wore all white. I didn't catch his name IG or OOG, but that dude was awesome. Not only did he step up and drink one of the death cups, but he also figured out the final clue on the low level mod. At his first event! That guy is great.
- A-Block on the stone ballroom mod. I couldn't believe how many people shook his hand after watching the people in front of them try it.
- The fact that everyone started dancing. Watching Welsher dance with Cerra, who is basically half his height, and pretty much picking her up and moving her out of the way of statues.
- Derrick figuring out which button to push just by watching the dancing statues. Again, I have no idea how that actually worked.
- Laying in a coffin for about 30 minutes before I heard blood curdling screaming and wondering what was going on. Eventually realizing that it was Brain and laughing uncontrollably.
- Listening to the "should we or shouldn't we" debate, all while trying to hold the lid closed in case someone tried to open it before putting the heart in the box.
- Raining blood. I swear, during test runs it never seemed like that much water. Plus, I totally didn't think about the fact that it gets mighty cold on October nights. I apologize if anyone caught hypothermia from being soaking wet outside.
- Vince's stake. Most epic ending to a battle ever. The resounding cheering that followed.
- Post-main mod Wawa trip, still in Aalok makeup. Whatever, I do what I want.
All in all, it was an awesome event. It went better than Judge, Tom, and I could have ever hoped for. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in making things work, as well as to everyone that came to the event. We had a blast.
