Lots of RP which was good, because it was too damned cold to go out seeking adventure.
Started off by inspecting the porta-John to make certain there was toilet paper. Chipping the ice off the seat. Did I mention it was cold?
Excellent learning sessions from Vince and Geoff. Nice job by Chris A as Geoff's "helper."
Teaching Gideon Willpower. Found a nice insult for Geoff - nice eyebrow reaction.
Watching/listening to Sam teaching blindfighting in the yurt (was trying to sneak in a nap, with some success).
Teaching priestly skills to two others (had a lot of fun with whomever plays Portia), and then teaching someone to teach - my favorite teaching subject.
Having my appeal on my conspiracy conviction go my way - only to be immediately charged with 5 new offenses.
Watching people guard the fire place.
Seeing Derrick as Warclaw sitting very Shenlike in front of said fire. Mentioning that to him and watching him immediately sprawl in a very unShenlike posture..
I had a good time with the food. Feeding people "on demand" is much easier than a feast. For informational purposes we consumed:
40# of stew (I took 10# home of the 50-55# I made)
4 gallons of Chicken soup
3# cheese
lots of celery, tomatoes, carrots and sweet peppers.
Around 3/4 of Diane's 25# turkey and most if not all of the stuffing.
Lots of apples, clementines, and grapes, plus a few pounds each of pears and plums
4 loaves white, a stack of pita, 3 loaves semolina, one loaf Pumpernickel bread.
Some PB & J
3# pretzels
2# peanuts
One each: Pan of brownies, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and cheese cake
Two each: Banana bread and caramel covered cake
The thanks of all who ate to those who brought crock pots - it made it much easier to have hot food all the time.
Addition - listening to Kate after her sword (tied with pink ribbon around the hilt to identify it as her previous one walked) disappeared.

Starting off any event as a goblin, kicking screaming and biting as ogres and orcs held me down, strapped a bomb to my back and then launched me into a group of townspeople is always fun. One of my favorite moments as a goblin was when Max materialized out of my blind spot and slashed across the side of my neck in perfect "hunter" style, literally cutting my mask from my face.
Once my NPC shift was done, I had a blast becoming my gypsy character, Balthier the Bard, wandering around and performing card tricks, songs on the guitar and violin (also learning that numb fingers make violin and guitar very difficult to play), and learning how to speak and sing with that absurd romanian/hungarian/german accent. I especially enjoyed joking around with my roommate by joining in with the other Gypsies as we attempted to make his Khitanese character more gypsy like and gave him the nickname SPANTS!
I'd also like to make note of Adam's (Cael's) rping- he patiently sat in front of the fire meditating as I tried to distract him by tickling him with a random scrap of fabric, and props to his teacher (I don't know your name) for throwing me across the room for it when you found out. Also, sorry Adam for starting the rumor of Satyr's having four horns, it was just too good an opportunity to pass up.
The highlight of my night though would have either had to been performing card tricks for a member of the black orchid company (and earning two gold and four chocolates from him) or wandering around during the lich mod carrying around a fake skull, making cheesy shakespeare and macabre quotes, before finally propping it on the end of a staff and causing mischief with it.
Great rping by everyone I hung out with

Good RP around the forge. It's tough to be a meanie sometimes, but the trials of teaching & learning are always well worth it in the end.
A very, very sweet trade with Dougal.
Derrick / Kamen getting to use my new latex spear before I did.
Lots of nummy food.
And, of course, the ability to play again after being in a Non-Combat mode since early October.

10 minutes into the game i got attacked by a goblin and almost killed LOL
it was ridiculously cold the whole time and i was running around in Zach's purple cloak the whole time.
THE JACKHAMMER.... enough said
all the fun RP with Kathara, Kwildar, Balthier the Bard, Mikashi (i think was your name)... all the RPing was great i had a lot of fun.
Me, Kathara, Pracika, Kwildar and a few other people are going to live in Galen's cloak.. i heard Rayven's wife has already moved in and that the warmth was amazing lol.
Getting in lot's of "that's what she said jokes" at all the right moments.
Not being able to fight anything until i had my weapons broken and had a new one made that was "named". Although i missed the naming process and had to have Tobar do it for me due to the fact that i was beginning to suffer from the effects of severe exhaustion and the cold wasn't helping so i spent the last hours of KR sleeping in the car piled with blankets and half out of it. Sorry to those i didn;t get to say bye to
Overall i had tons of fun and met lots of fun new people. I was feeling pretty crappy and im sorry to those who had to listen to my whining and complaining lol.

Getting Erdrick in the chest when he was North/South fighting and having him not expect it and dropping him. Highlight of the season.
Other Highlights include
Tag teaming Elawyn with Shamus and general Capture the Flag fun. (Must do again!!!)
Good cheesecake.
Card tricks and being generally impressed.

It was a good shot but saying I didn't expect it would be incorrect, I simply missed the parry.

Wow. I was not expecting to feel so mentally drained after this event to not be able to really wrap my head around things for two days afterward. It was a great way to turn a relatively crummy week into a fabulous one.
First, some IC highlights.
A lot of my highlights this time were internal RP things, that likely no one really cares about, and can't really see, but I still feel them worthy of mentioning.
I think Kwildar's internal battle over a simple thing like writing a letter. What does one say in such a thing? How far does one reach? What is proper? Just because he can, should he? All questions Kwildar is really deeply searching and praying for answers for before January.
Kwildar's rage at seeing undead walk about that he knew that he couldn't help immediately upon their way, and the struggle to keep from at least trying when it would do no good.
Kwildar's continuing confusion over interacting with people, and awkward conversations. He'll likely always feel a little like an outsider. A little lonely for him perhaps, but a heckova lot of fun to roleplay.
An undercurrent of paranoia... Always been there, but stronger now. Interesting to see some peoples' reactions to it.
Kwildar finally standing up and stepping down a path that Andorra had been urging him to for months, and the hugs and congratulations this brought him... And at the same time, sadness at growing up, losing one thing he had hoped for, and until that hope fulfilled or lost, kept him from feeling worthy of that first step.
New townsmembers that randomly hugged Kwildar. He's apparently a fan of the random hugs now.
Some non-Kwildar things...
Lizards and getting naughtily manhandled by a group looking for eggs.... And proctology exams, brought to you by Dissection. The lizard's confusion when she awoke was an interesting RP moment.
Some OOC things.
Seeing everyone. I needed your energy this weekend, just that wonderfully chaotic, exuberance that this group as a whole has. You guys rock.
Stacey, and the aforementioned random hugs. She revealed to me later that they were more OOC than IC, but Kwildar isn't complaining.
I watched my carefully planned end of year budget take a dive, but I'm hoping the results will be worth it!

From the surprising remark you made following the hit, it seemed that way. But still. As lame as it sounds to some, that right there is a highlight to my character.

The reactions to Rayven when one of the goblins struck my IG nephew. I've actually never seen so many people afraid of Rayven.
RP with Amara and Tobar
All of the dirty jokes tossed about and the following "Crap Tobar, I think you're rubbing off on me"
Asking Galen if he's seen my wife and the hilarity that ensued.
Blowing my Crusade and ALL of my tag skills within an hour of getting to the event.
Yurt fun.
Capture the flag.
RP with Erdrick teaching Armor Patch - Vine patches FTW
My new armor and sword of awesomeness
Joe B - "Hold! *pause* We're going to call the auction now."
Mike S - "Oh! I thought we were all about to die!"
Suprising many in the one on one competition and actually making it to the final round. The fight between me and Logan was pretty awesome. Rematch anyone?

The two on two fight with me and jon against andy and matt was fantastic, esp the duel of me v. andy. Big shields are awesome, but stamina wins out.
The conflict that occurred down with the goblins/ogres and my PC being interfered with by a new towns member was definitely interesting. I never did catch the guys real name and I don't think I could spell his character's name if I tried. He played the new Khitan (I assume) wearing a blue shirt and did a remarkable job with it. I only hope he has realized that shield bashing him, screaming at him/threatening him, and then saying he was going to be arrested, was all IG.
Wally's mod with the runes and all was really cool too.

I want a yurt, that was a neat place to meet and talk with people
The games were fun, the capture the flag was a bit...
The One on one was fantastic to take part in and watch, especially if you had money on the winner
The Gobs did some great work, good way to introduce some of the new people to NPCing and some of the combat rules, even if they stole my stuff...
My mind was frozen stiff when I was trying to figure out what I could learn this event but Elawyn (Kristen?) was a patient teacher and I thank her for her time
Good food, sorry I missed the entertainment contest (was there one?)
Met some great new players who I hope come back for Jan.

Well, this was my very first KR event and may I say that it was definitely interesting from the get-go. Upon entering the town, I noticed that a lady in White was being chased by a pack of goblins and ogres. Naturally, I rushed into action to try and help her out. Later on in the fight, I realized a townsmember about to strike down a goblin who looked like he wanted to just run away. I stepped in and blocked the attacker's weapon, only for him to Shield Bash me to the ground, shout at me while pointing his blade at my throat, and threaten death upon me if I interfered again. This man was Sir Alexander Renaudierre. He was going to lock me up, but I was thankfully saved by a different knight, Lethias, who interjected just at the right moment and managed to keep me from being sent to jail. Only later did I learn about the gravity of what my character did and I apologized over and over for it, having been dishonorable to a man of greater importance than I.
But just in that one moment though when I was lying on the ground, anger in Sir Alexander Renaudierre's eyes, the tip of his sword just an inch away from my throat, it was in that moment that only one thought flashed across my mind.....THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!
Ps. the name is Misaki. Misaki Xianlu.

Having time to learn some new things and my teacher actually being around and free when I needed him was nice for a change.
Seeing everyone again even though it was freezing!
Sparing with Cael and Max for a few min before I decided it was just too cold out.
Meeting the new Gypsy Balthier, I loved the music and the card tricks.
Trying to turn Misaki gypsy and liking that it failed so I decided he's my new friend and since he put up with me on the hike threw the tunnel I guess he accepts the friendship ^.-
