January Event Highlights

How could I have forgotten the already mentioned incident of Cerra/Jasmina throwing Derrick/Kaiman across the Inn (Derrick put his all into that tumble) and the subsequent "I'm going to make her my bride."  It wasn't creepy at all and was entirely in keeping with Kaiman's character.

Nnnoooo... let's keep the Trekkies (or is it Trekkers?) and the LARPers away from each other.  Much like the Ninja-Pirate feud... it will not end well and the 2 should never come close to each other. 

I was all over the place this event, as was Kwildar emotionally, physically, and definitely mentally.

In no particular order:

Kwildar saving two children from being burned, and the interaction between him and Exodus.

Conversations with Katie Moyer/Lina  (I feel so ashamed I can't recall what that epic exchange was off hand now!)

Pie throwing.  Though I like the idea of water balloons much better.

Goblin interactions, and trying to save as many as Kwildar could from being killed 'cause the interaction had started off peacibly enough, with the exception of a Waylay attempt.  Kwildar turning and saying, "There is no need to get violent." which raised a few eyebrows.

Actually using the line "It's for your own protection." when suggesting to a goblin that they be taken by Brik to prison, 'cause a large group was trying to kill him.  Stopping the killing blows from more than one in said group because said goblin was in Brik's custody.

Chocolate Chip Cookies, the first redux, and Kwildar yelping like a wounded puppy when Annabelle Merryweather (Lisa Hill) appeared from the kitchen.

First off, let me say there is no greater birthday present than spending time at KR... or dancing with hot strippers. 

Event highlights...
New Years Eve & Day
1.Partying in NYC until 4 am.  So drunk and tired... 
2. Traveling home, showering, and then napping for 10 minutes before Tom (aka Odo) picks me up to goto PA at 6:30 am.
3. McGriddle sandwiches, hash browns, and OJ are my new hangover medicine.
4. PA storage shed... frickin cold! 
5. Disturbing the poor wildcat/bobcat/lynx that was using the shed as shelter.  Sorry and thanks for not biting us and giving us rabies. 
6. Getting to Sac and setting up the Inn and washing all those dishes.
7. Hanging with Tom, Luis, his son, Cooper, Malcolm (aka Kwildar), Marcella, Matt D, and the rest at the diner after setting up was fun.

Friday Day/Night...
1. Waking up after 10 hours of sleep... wow. 
2. Starving for food, but too lazy to cook it myself.  Yeah, I fail.
3. Having lunch/dinner at the diner... deja vu.
4. NPCing as the Drive-In Theatre Kung Fu Master (complete with bad english and lip-synching)... no one saw it. 

Saturday Morning...
1. Getting to play with my new shield.  Yay! 
2. Learning how to Deflect by Vince.
3. Getting my "cherry popped" by Kwildar by learning how to channel Positive Energy.  The ensuing jokes will be forthcoming.
4. Positive Puppies.  ???
5. Fighting Fire Demons/Elementals?  All I know is I got burned and then got covered in what may have been "yellow ice" to help soothe the burns. 
6. Getting my X-Mas gift.  I love Joe B, MB, Al, Tony... 
7. Working with Gideon and trapping that Jon's Nightmare between our Walls of Ice.
8. The Witch Hunter discussion on the porch before feast... "Positive Puppies", "Popping Cherries", "We'll make it fit", "Kwildar is the Master Baiter", "Hit it till it goes down."

Sat Night
1. Feast was awesome... Luis, you are an artist.
2. Prepping for a sacrifice...
3. "Wait, we're sacrificing someone?"
4. Fighting an army of nightmares.  Holy $#*%!

Sunday
1. Soreness... ow.
2. "No, I won't kill anyone unless ordered to.  I'll beat them the "F" down, but I won't kill them."
2a. "This goblin eats people?  Ok, I'm killing him now."
3. Fighting ghosts... how many are there?
4. Walking through cave walls. 
5. Eating at the Moose with Tom and Derrick and getting to know them better... and the name Kayla to be forever scorched into my brain.  1 word... Motorboat.
