Highlights: Friday; Going to see Kwildar baptize Ilona. It was AWESOME!!!
Saturday; Going on a mod with Destiel, Octavius and Brick. Getting tapped and going down into serious twice. Thank you Octavius for dealing with those mages. Then after we got back to the inn, another adventure. This time dealing with Elementals. We defeated them with the help of Kliden. Then our small ragtag group, including Lucien decide to take our time back to the Inn. We run into trolls and one of the trolls waved his sword toward Lucien and he makes fun of their noses and it ends with Kwildar walking the trolls to the lake. Then a little while later we run into the same trolls and hilarity ensues. Thanks Lucien! we make our way back to the inn only to have trouble right out side of the inn.
Lowlights: Not going to the healer mod late Saturday Night. Having Sanniyoh go in my place because I had just taken some strong medicine. I wish that I could have taken her place.

RPing with Bran and Seamus after Rione died and then getting drunk off Bran's Da's finest.
That was actually Da's Strongest. Da's Finest is only for special occasions, and then only very rarely for non-Celts, heh.

Being adopted by Celts and taught the joyousness of Cavalier-dom
All the marvelous elementals spawning when I actually had Banish elemental.
The low level ratkin mob; damn albino wererat getting away with the sweet swag.
Surviving the monastary break-in with all limbs in tact.
The Doll, The Doll, The Doll... I still have nightmares.
All the sweet swag I found in trees .
We stand together my brothers. We live and die by our blood. No mage will ever change that.

Friday:
Scoring an invite to the Gypsy party simply because Malyc thought I'd be useful. I got to eat without spending a copper, which is still a good thing.
The Gypsy party itself, and deciding I'd rather brave the smoke than the werewolves. Especially alone.
The above decision roping me into healing at the monastery whilst devils attacked... again. Again, again, again, again... did I miss any?
Actually getting to sleep!
Saturday Morning:
Waking up to the start of Market Faire.
Being teased with a bit of plot I'd helped with last moon; finding out where that box I'd identified as Bedouin had led people. I very much want in on this plotline at some point.
Helping Gwynedd get set up a bit, then watching Derelith feed his addiction at the hands of the Celts. That was a wonderful way to make friends with them, as it happened.
Being recruited by Father Thomas to help dispatch a giant rat. Of course, we all know that rat soon became *those* rats, and those rats soon became those rat*kin*. Getting to be useful... as the only healer in the group... super awesome. Also: eating a fireball to the back, then a 50 fire damage trap thanks to a certain someone. Not every healer can do that, and believe me, it came in bloody useful. Next time, though, we're making you check the trap *alone*, Razael. But thank you for the elemental shield, anyway. It helped with the next fire trap.
NPC Shift:
Two out of my three goals achieved for shift: Use a 2HE, and do something heinous. I was pleased.
Getting more free food from Paetros, this time as a curious and very self-preservation concerned goblin.
Brian and Annabel attempting to get baptized to Gaia, but running into Rayven who was willing to wait for Mother Moonshadow... but not to take us to the monastery. Apparently, that's where she was the whole time. Ah well, maybe they'll get to show up again.
Saturday Night:
Feast was once again awesome. The spectrum of music might have been more limited, but was no less interesting. The meal itself was excellent. Thanks again to all who helped prepare.
The invasion. In its entirety. Tactically granting Aleister an extra Blade. The ambush felled me and freaked me out. The castle flippin' floored me. Aquaenae, you're slippery when you want to be. Mother Remy, thanks for the Sanctuary... I hope you got some use out of that potion.
Walking in on Livia and Raphael... and totally ignoring them.
Learning to teach from Amalthea. It was an extremely informative lesson, and I like teaching.
Learning more things from everyone I could hear.
Talking shop with Derelith... and learning why it was such a good thing I wasn't there an hour before.
More sleep! It's a miracle! I slept through drow and half the healers getting abducted.
Sunday:
After turning down the opportunity to participate in a Tama- Tara-... some kind of nasty boar-hunt, making a bit of money, then coming back to find out that those who'd gone on the hunt, including the Celts and Lucien, needed a bit of saving. Between Leandra, myself, and our escort, we got them back up and raring to go for revenge. That's also a good way to make a few friends.
Learning some potion-making skills from Leandra instead of some other stuff I'd only half paid attention to anyway.
After hopping around watching and helping with some other lessons and hanging around with Lucien and the gypsies, apparently being a decent storyteller, getting to go on another adventure.
Down the drow hole (It's funnier if you make it rhyme with "blow"), eating more decent size damage, dodging summoned nasties of all kinds, and narrowly escaping all manner of traps, then healing the various broken limbs of those who'd been caught. Thanks to all of you who let me be of some use, but Aleister, you and I are apparently lucky people, stepping out when we did.
Having a nice heart to heart with each and every healer I knew. The same one. Five times. Information is valuable, but communication is priceless.
I had a good time. Kudos, thanks, and felicitations to all!

Oh, I know... I just find it hilarious, especially considering the duplicitous nature of the first one *cough*.Having a nice heart to heart with each and every healer I knew. The same one. Five times. Information is valuable, but communication is priceless.

Here goes for my highlights.....
Friday:
During the Order mod, Utgard getting turned into a fool's mummy and my flipping out when I thought he was dead. Rione's sacrifice was intense too- it really hit home that in order to pull this thing off, a lot of people are going to die and there's not much to be done about it.
Learning about the Witch Hunter houses from Seamus.
Saturday:
NPC shift:
KO'ing everyone in the Guard's barracks who were still asleep.
Running away as a wimpy goblin when Magnus told me I could drop my weapon or basically be skewered.
Afternoon:
Giving Simon the cold shoulder.
Continuing my sword-fighting lessons with Lord Brightstar- I think at least I'm starting to get the footwork down.
Learning to teach from Amalthea. It was an extremely informative lesson, and I like teaching...Having a nice heart to heart with each and every healer I knew. The same one. Five times. Information is valuable, but communication is priceless.
goose's feasts always have their highlights(you're amazing), but they rarely come by way of Enaxian dogma. lauren delivered a true standout moment when she coupled a look of dread and embarrassment with a quick retreat behind her hat, perhaps sensing a confrontation between germaine and a then-preaching utgard....that said, it is no surprise that amalthea's response to war was similarly enjoyable for me.
Thanks for the shout out, which leads to another highlight: Trying to figure out who could break Utgard's arm for a healing lesson as Germaine walked past....
Also, feast was delicious. Marshmallows, raspberries and brownies are an awesome combo, and the chicken was great. Thanks, Goose!
I'm kind of sorry I missed the Doll....
-Epic RP with the healer's. I feel SOOOOO bad that I missed healer mod...and that poor Aquene and Sonaiya (sp?) were taken...should have been me
I feel the same way. We healers are just a bunch of martyr-minded masochists, aren't we?
Sunday: Having follow-up conversations with the healers about said mod.....
Oh, I know... I just find it hilarious, especially considering the duplicitous nature of the first one *cough*.
I was first?! Cool!!!! I mean, er.....
Overall, not really any lowlights except missing the healer mod, but c'est la vie. Can't wait to see everyone at the alt event

PC Highlights:
- Getting 'hired' at the bar and subsequently making a new friend - yay Sannyiah!
- Though ...boo, Simon. Hehehe. Some interesting and useful conversation with him that I hope will bear fruit in the future.
(As a note, working at the bar is a really great way for a new person to get into things.)
- Internal merriment thanks to meeting a drunken, talkative Kamen.
- A couple of tarot readings, one done for Livia and the rest done by her for others, that were a really nice way to open the character's story.
- The horrible, awful, terrible wonderful thing that doll made poor Livia do.
- Crying three times in 48 hours at my first event ever with a brand new character. Thanks, Emerson. Ahem.
....and thanks, Nadine, too, as she nearly made me cry once, and for giving me the BEST WORST IDEA EVER.
- Exploring/patrolling with Sannyiah and Magistrate Shen; secretly pondering what sort of alchemical essences one might find in the belly of a hydra....and wondering if she could get one day Kamen to go haring off after the beast to slay it for her so she can find out.
- Feeling useless, idle and weak, being filled with hate for this fact, and therefore having immediate motivation for character change.
NPC Shift Highlights:
- JINGLES. SHADOWY EFFING JINGLES.
- Marcella. Thank God for you, girl. If it weren't for you, we'd have been SHADOWED and JINGLING until 8 in the morning.
- Making the guy in logistics wet himself - and in relation, being allowed, for the first time in my 13 years LARPing, to actually scream as loud as I possibly can. Which I didn't do because I'm not sure I totally believed that I could, but it was pretty close.
- Fainting. For some reason, I get a kick out of falling on the floor, which is another thing I don't get to do often in LARPing.
Random Highlights:
- Getting to play this character background type, which I have wanted to a good 4 years or so.
- ZACH FINDING MY CARDS! Thank you, Zack. I love you forever.
- Feast. I was seriously impressed. Kudos to cook and staff.
- Chris assuring me that I am not high maintenance. It ain't easy, being new.
Lowlights:
Not getting paid for bar tending. I forgot who I needed to go to to have my soul signed. (I also feel really odd, writing that.)
Not knowing the rules well enough to have an idea how to immediately pursue said immediate motivation for character change. Foo.
Missing the Gypsy party that was the whole reason I decided to play the character this weekend in the first place. I didn't know anyone who could escort me, where to go to, and was too scared to wander out into the dark alone - because the player had never even seen the campsite, let alone the character seen the countryside. I guess I could have liked a little metagaming to benefit the new and clueless there.... ah, well.
Still, thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome! I'm looking forward to May's event.

-kamen at the bar lol im pretty sure he never stayed so long in a conversation actually at the bar interesting..
-the dragoon oracle made for a lot of good RP with the dragoon players as well as the mages guild.
-invading the markovian keep sat night that was flippin fantastic, as we fought we saw the devil in the background talking put me as shen really into the part.
- shen walking with sannyiah and livia around the camp as they wanted the company, was a lot of good RP there
-dark elves man that’s always fun, I hope the players had as much fun trying to find us as we had trying to do hit and runs, more to come with that mwahahah
Fun times and cant wait till next month

Being mean is fun and all, but I hard time getting into it. I was thrilled to see everyone. I'll post actual highlights as I think of them, I guess.
Like this:
"Oh, look at those four women dancing!"
I also had a few people ask me about how I do my make-up, I have quite the dissertation if anyone would like it. Toss me a PM.

Standing on the back porch as Edwin with Kamen (Derrick) and Sannijah (Karla)

Funny that I don't think Elyse in any of her characters, save her character at the first alt event has ever actually been mean to me or mine. Zyn is awesome. She was also Kwildar's one and only experience with chess. (I'll wait to see if Elyse remembers the victor of that one)
