Friday- fighting a ton of undead.
Saturday morning- waking up to go do NPC shift.
NPC Shift- Going out as Chaos Warrior Berserkers looking for a wand for Dakken, then went out as very weak goblins like 15 or 20 BP goblins. Then going out to do a very Noah's Ark-like mod. There were 2 ogres, 2 trolls, 2 wolves, and 2 elemntals all together with each matching creature.
Saturday Afternoon- We had to fight Hydra babies. I saved 5 peoplke from critical including Magnus, Lethias, and the Baron. I was pretty much done for healing with maybe like 2 or 3 HP left. Some magic eating creature was around. Killing some sort of devil.
Main Mod- Went to the Monestary with the Baron to find directions to go to Winterdark then coming back. We saw an Astral Juggernaut and we quickly entered the Monastery. Archbishop LaBelle and Father Haroldson were in there trying to figure out what to do. Then we hear kn ocks from a PC sent to bring us to the inn. Yea, when there was an Astral Juggernaut outside. We then left to be relieved when it wasnt there. We went to the inn to find out that it was overrun by a horde of undead including the Kinslayer, The Lich and I think the Necromantic Genasi(I dont really know what else to call it), the black sorcerer, and Matthus the anti-paladin. I heard from Ilservian that he literally left for a moment to do something while groups were being organized and when he came back the groups already left leaving the inn for the obvious attack on the inn.
Sunday- Waking up to kill elemtals. Headed to the inn and soon had to fight maybe like 30 ogres total.(I actually run into battle rather than stay away during my younger years.) And of course it was raining. Last event was so much better with the weather aspect.

Saturday Day
1. Seeing all my friends is always a great highlight.
2. Getting in right when fresh bruschetta was being served in Alisandria. Ah, timing...
3. Fighting wolves, goblins... always nice fallback mooks to kill.
Saturday Night
1. Dinner at Homestead. Chicken Fried Steak? Hellz Yeah!
2. Nice dinner discussion to help me realize a few things... always a great learning time.
3. NPCing Main Mod... templates galore.
3a. Goley: So attack the town by hitting various spots & force them to group together so by 11, they all are in the Inn.
NPCs: Ok.
(After the 1st battle, the entire town merges together at the monastery & falls back to the Inn).
Goley: Wow... that worked really well... 2 hours EARLY. OK, new plan, attack the Inn since everyone is in there.
(Turns around & sees the entire town leaving the Inn.)
NPCs:..... um.....
Goley: Um... ok, take over the Inn & wait for the town to return.
3b. Attacking the Inn only to find all the non-combat players & Janus by themselves. I felt really bad right then & there.
3c. Taking over the Inn & DECIMATING everyone inside of it.
4. Fighting the town. Lots of impressive moves & seeing people work hard.
5. Post NPC shift shower. Ahhh...
6. Late night roast beef. Mmmmm...
Sunday
1. Getting to walk & explore the camp in the rain wasn't fun, but it showed me a whole new side of the place I rarely get to see.
2. Sunday morning A/C & snacking on more beef. Can't argue with that.
3. Discussions & fun with lunch at the Homestead. Mmm...

Feeling safe on the roads for some reason
Being at the Stump during main mod and subsequently ruining a group of NPC's with itching powders.
Ming's great great great uncle sending some people ahead. Looking forward to the follow up on this.
Playing an NPC farmer with a broken leg on friday and using the wooden crutch in logistics
Finally making my only invisibility potion so far and using it to carry the rickshaw down to the Stump. The looks from people were entertaining.
There are more, but it was exhausting weekend.
Lowlights:
Jazzercizing with Chris and Dan during the thunderstorm.
Mosquitoes. I have never been so itchy.

I came in as Zahir's brother which did wonders for me.
I met many people that i hear alot about.
Copious amounts of fighting, that while i was not entirely useful i was able to meat shield a 70 body attack that was in the direction of Lady Abendroth.
Oh and well i became Sir Aleister Darkheart's Squire.
It was good...

My spell list apparently knew I was expecting to fight a lot. No real offensive spells but the right defenses/movement skills. I prefer defense every time.
Getting to chat and walk around with Lina for a bit while waiting to get my armor worked on and just moving from place to place. Was nice. The Short Version: Ilana was told to blame the Bloody Stump for Matthias getting re-corrupted. She didn't really though, don't worry.
-"Unity wants to say hi!" *bam bam bam bam wildshield/windwalker* This happened pretty much anytime I could get close to Dakin. Geez Matt, you and harvest soul
Saturday NPC:
I played mushrooms. Terribly powerful mushrooms for about... 3 hours Though allowing the most adorable archer (Charolette I believe her name is) to do some shooting practice made things more fun. Then I got to play one very angry lizardkin when the stump skinned her boar alive.
Saturday:
-Got stuck late NPCing and missed mass. Again >< Just trying to stay relaxed most of the day and prepare everything for the fight. Helping out Angelica, need to learn about hydras.
-Chatting with druid buddies when the Count comes over and tells Ilana "I need you to make an announcement to everyone..." almost hyperventilating on the spot. Fortunately everyone boiled down to a table of people and they told everyone else. Going to the monastery to help them catch up and then... oh hey Vernon.
-Paetros/Gustov/"Moooo". Then... getting separated from everyone and being by myself in the woods for what felt like ten minutes at least. /panic
-Panicking when I ran out of magic points and then Erdrick coming up behind me and replenishing all essence. He was the only reason Ilana didn't take about three other harvest souls
-Reanimating Elric. Ilana generally tries to only have people around for the last moments of a reanimation but Leandra and Seamus wanted to stay for the whole thing... After finishing the reanimation, returning downstairs to prepare to help the rest of the hunt to learn everyone had been recovered. Hugging all the NPCs who were uncorrupted afterward and chatting with them a little while. Some people apologizing for not believing Ilana about them actually being good people. Sir Shaw almost ruining all the happy (no surprise there) but the Baron made it better.
-Ilana dealing with two very bad scenarios but with a different perspective. Hanging outside and watching the thunderstorm head towards us after everything was over. End to a wonderful night.
-Oh, right, I used all my willpowers in one period. I knew it was possible.
Sunday:
-Walking the most adorable archer to the mage's guild trying to keep her dry. I had to put my arm down for a little bit and soon she was completely soaked. We both liked rain at least.
-Ilana can use a shield on her own again. Yay! She can make posi barriers now too! (Almost a real witch hunter now!)
-"Oh, I'll attune the sword to you... no problem."
Later: "So what's the chances they'd just attune it to themselves?" "Very Good. Especially since its you."

-NPCing with Rob and Jeff Friday night as another Valosian templar was so much fun, and I can't wait to see how things develop from what we did.
-As always, great times with the rest of Drega'Mire...I always love it whenever Evadne forgets to get her sorcery extended
-Meeting Zathir and immediately grabbing him up for Drega'Mire. We know good people when we see them.
-Chasing Gustav around the forge area alongside Aleister and Apollo...the three of us make an amazingly effective team.
-Joining the mass battle at the inn and activating my promo for the first time. Yay for increased survivability! Now I just need more body...
My main highlight for this event though is something that was really driven home for me. More than anything else, I REALLY enjoy the teaching/learning aspect of this game. My enjoyment of a given event is directly proportionate to the number of my students I see active, even if I don't teach them that particular month. I only gave 2 lessons this event, but it's the act of coming up with ways to teach the various skills that makes it fun. Also, it feels really good to hear people say things like "oh, you need to learn such and such skills? Definitely go to Winks, he's one of the best." But that's just a bit of ego-stroking haha.
Anyone who's going, I'll see you at Dexcon, and then the Festival at the end of the month.

Me "Who from the Cuhurch accompanied you, Excellency."
LaBelle (looking downcast, like I had just busted his balloon and kicked his puppy at the same time) "I'm sorry Edwin. It won't happen again."
Discussing certain problems of the Travancian Church with the Grand Inquisitor, and stating "I don't envy you the task of sorting this out, Mordecai."
\"No problem for me, Edwin - the sorting will be done by my new Deputy Inquisitor.
Spending half an hour (ably assisted by Kwildar and Gwynned) curing someone of suicidal tendencies.
Philosophical and wide ranging discussion with Janus. Ditto with Guildmaster Silverbow.
Who knew delivering a sealed letter would lead to so much drama?
Holding back undead in the Inn with a sphere. Chanting the 4 words of power is oddly relaxing.
Learning a lesson (lore) in the laws of Travance from the High Magistrate.
Learning Epistemology - this should tie together disparate knowldge I have. Next will be word derivations and I will be content for a few months.
Organizing the library.
Mass was the lbest attended yet, with some of the best food as well. Mangoes...
OOG, MB trying to explain she's not really in the kitchen all that much. Right.
Gideon asking if I could uncorrupt Barak Tellinghast (I was sleeping at around 0200). Me "Sure"
Gideon "Take your time getting dressed, Dr. Maxwell has him in stasis.:
I got out of bed, grabbed my staff and put on slippers.
Gideon "Right - you're a witch hunter."
New person in town - "Where are you going, sir?"
Me "The monastery."
Him "Do you need an escort?"
Going to Kaladonia and helping quell an attack - watching Paetros sort things out. Interesting look on his face when I asked him where he would like me to go from here.
More, but I am still beat.
My thanks to all who were solicitous about my heath - it is improvng and 6 hours of sleep two nights in a row (not uninterrupted, but still...) was wonderful

The level of roleplay was excellent and I was glad to have witnessed so much and not have to hear about it on the forums.
A few highlights that come to mind:
-The light mass on Saturday afternoon. The sermons were inspired and well-presented.
-The adorable little Kiterian, Char; besides playing a great character she was able to interact with others easily and confidence. She would not take no for an answer when she wanted to give Ardin a healing salve because she had to go to bed and she wanted to make sure I had it if I needed it.
-The establishment known as The Bloody Stump: I thought I have seen it all in my years at KR, 10 foot tall demons, a beholder and even a gigantic hydra. But a place in the middle of the woods that can prepare such an abundance of food. The menu is larger than many restaurants. The organization required to get this done is incredible. Some minor issues arise, like no butter and extra scrambled eggs for lucky patrons, but the place is an instant popular hangout. I was happy to witness to the first Haroldson served. Kudos to all those involved.
-Ilana: the wildmage that I love to not love.
-Saturday late night at the cabin at the top of the hill. Blood curdling screams! When my fight or flight instinct kicks in, then you have it just right!
-Sunday AM remnants from the early morning storm. Love the idea of the air elementals. The best ones I have seen in a long time. I need to catch up with a few of the players involved.
-Chris G: probably didn't get any sleep, but we all benefited from this as this was a very "fun" weekend. Well done!
-The general hard work done by those contributing to plot. You all know who you are! There are just so many things going on. Thanks to all those who help make the weekend enjoyable for all.

I would like to give a special thank you to Liam for sticking by me through the entire weekend, running around and dedicating the time to helping me keep my head, as well as Mark Bradford, Gene Stern and Matt Magnus for stepping up to help me out. I want to thank Frank and Maxine for playing wonderful hooks for many of our players, and I would especially like to thank each and every person in attendance who stepped up to the tasks of their NPC shifts, to help make our world come to life. This is why we do this afterall, it's the story... the living for the Epic Moment that we each want to have.
So thank you all for giving me a place that feels like home. I look forward to writing for you all again in the future.

My personal highlights:
Being interrupted by Char in the middle of a story. That was... exactly what I expected of her, but was still a wonder to roleplay. Getting to be just a little worried and indignant until "seeing" she'd be watched over.
Avoiding Dakin at the Stump with Bazan. As soon as we heard something weird was going on, we hid behind the kitchen until we could get an escort out. Turns out, we did the right thing. I wish I could have spent more time down there, it just wasn't to be.
Coming back and talking with friends. You guys are the reason I come to this place, and the reason I fight... but with all the parties going on, there wasn't a lot of adventuring, to be honest.
NPC shift was combat, but low-key, so it was quite doable. I will, however, remember "Just show us your card, and we'll fall down dead," and "You just need one other lore!" for a long time. You know who you are.
Waking up to Market Faire early for once... *cough* Faire was good, though. Lots of tasty food. Didn't get to keep my jam... it got taken from the fridge before I could get to it *sadface*.
Dispatching Mars's mushrooms. After that new barbarian with the polearm tried walking right up to one of the big ones and attacking it, dragging him back and keeping him alive. When the poison got purged, healing him, and as he got up to try again, pointing my dagger and going, "No. Bad. Down." and actually being listened to. Taking out the second one was much easier, if just as amusing, with so many people participating at the Inn.
In between the shrooms, running a bit off-script with those same fighters. Delivering an unconscious character to Sir Aleister and Brother Brogan (among others) who I knew could handle a perpetrator.
Light Mass was inspiring, as usual, and again, thank you to all those who helped make it special for Char and me. Fighting those brigands who interrupted it was good too.
Main mod was crazy: avoiding the Astral Juggernaut by sheer OOG skill, not getting dropped thanks to everyone who gave me armor, learning Heal Life through the guidance of some very patient battle healers and some very embattled healing patients.
Getting to help Reanimate Elric. I really appreciated the chance to be there for him, and for Seamus and Leandra. I'm thinking that I might sit down with a physician (if there's time) at the Festival and pick up Medical Assistant from someone. Even so, with how in sync Ilana and I were when we got him up, you'd think we'd rehearsed that call: "Reanimation!" "Heal Wounds - heal 60!". A thrill to observe, and gratifying to know everything the four of us did was enough to get the job done.
After the reanimation, spending some time at the Monastery while Gustav was being reanimated, and witnessing the worst time of Tobar's life. Then, realizing that while there are a fair few people who like me, I'm getting a little too good at my job. Oops.
Sitting and teaching healing lessons to two new healers, Nadia/Nadya (?) and Tim for about an hour, then teaching my very patient victim, Myr, how to teach. You all learned quite well, and I welcome you back to me if you ever need to learn more.
Sunday was great, even if rainy: Spinning riddles for the Guildmaster, then getting sucked into another fight way above my level. Pissed-off Elementals: Part of this complete, nutritious Travancian breakfast.
Helping dispatch the ogres was great too... One of them got my weapon once, but the second time, oh, no. I saw it coming and dodged that quickly. Thanks to Father Weaveforger for letting me get back into the fight.
Sharing personal-stock drinks with friends all morning. I apologize to whoever missed out, I didn't get the chance to buy up like I usually do, so I missed out too. Sorry.
Bard lessons from Tobar, who Clait finally got to meet, and picking up Crit from Seamus. Add that to picking up a couple of racials, and I'm quite happy.
That sums up what I remember of last weekend. Now to finish recovering from ridiculous dehydration and rhinovirus problems.
See you at the Festival! (I hope.)

I forgot my pants and had to borrow pants.
- playing a supped up death fiend, and Oog scaring someone when I used fear on someone else.
Actually holding people back long enough to get the corruption ritual to go off,
- But before then, being told to attack the hooks tent, (which was surrounded by witch hunters, then attack the monastary (which had the entire clergy there at the time, I got smoked from behind by killdar... I mean kwildar.
- I don't remember much of Friday night after my npc shift other than the fact that I was told to go stay in the monastary
Saturday:
- so many smithing lessons!
- narrowly blocking a slay from a hydra baby
- matching the half million magic lessons that gideon taught and having my character not understand any of it other than "fire is not subtle"
- breaking when I saw a silver spoon on the ground during the baby hydra fight.
- main mod was kinda awesome, got 4 minor insanities and my first major from it, so what if I died in the process? On a related note, being reanimated was kinda awesome too.
Sorry Liam, I did not get, "think I am a dragoon" as an insanity
- Sunday:
- Having an epic moment when I shouted at an ogre andthey immediately changed direction.
Accidentally letting it slip to rayven that I have no defnse skills, I am afraid now.

-Three people coming up to me for training, and the hatred for my teaching methods that ensued.
-Strength training with a new player (sorry I can't remember names very well), and having him move picnic tables.
-Lore: Divinity training.. I mean writing... with Jerec.
-Prayer Shield and Malediction training with Brax.
-Sleep. Holy crap sleep.
-Impromptu mass and benediction at feast. While fun, I realized I need to get better OOG at public speaking.
-The realization that I need to start picking up Fourth Rank Prayers.
-Oddly enough, no longer being called Templar Rayven, but Father Rayven, after one event of having Priest.
-Matthis/Lethias confusion.
-Also, strangely enough, the same three people constantly hitting me and blowing tag skills on me claiming they confused me with the enemy.
-Sitting next to three mages then realizing "Why am I still sitting here?"
-REALLY awkward conversation with Silverbow about gems. At least awkward on my end, likely amusing on his.
-Oh, and pool party prior to the event.

Hi! OOG My name is Sophie, IG Charcoal, and I very much enjoyed my first adventure in Travance! It was even more amazing than I expected. Sure, I was almost mistaken as a Dark Elf in the night time and the Inn was invaded with undead, but luckily, I wasn't harmed and soon there were lots of strong people in armor coming to save me! I mean, the Inn, of course...
Oh, yeah, and I met Na'ar, my long-lost brother! I was also baptized to Andorra, made some friends at the forge and learned a thing or two about being a bard!
I had such a great time and I hope to see everyone at the Festival!

Ekatarina: *In New Armor* How do I look?
Archbishop Morgan: Finally like a Cleric
*Reading Na'ars palms in an impromptu and strangely detailed detailed reading.
*Having a few people ask me "Are you playing Ekatarina or someone new?" for rolling up in armor and pants. I am never playing a character in a skirt again, so much easier in pants!
*Being told my Jams were fantastic. Lowlight- my jam possibly being the reason for the bear attacking the Monastery, and hearing that people were stealing Jars of Jam from other people.
*Raven: "A Baby Bear attacked the Monastery, but it didn't get in"
Me: "I didn't know we had a mithal against bears?"
*Will the Wild Mage Cleric who I was going to teach Lore: Divinity to send me a PM. I forgot your name but if you want me to teach it to you, you have home work
*Teaching Leandra Cleric! YAY for Team Gaia!
I'm sure there is more.
