I always enjoy kr, but I loved Alex slaying me in the inn for complimenting the lady faerie's hair, and then on main mod, someone telling me to go talk to her again because she liked my hair.
Emily, where did you get that wig? I need one!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I WAS SOMEONE'S HIGHLIGHT! You don't know how much this makes me happy! I'm so glad I got to make a positive impact on a person's character!
Moving along, then. At first I didn't feel like I had much of an impact during this event, but as I typed this I realized that I experienced a lot!
Friday Night:
-First move was to sell the essense I had to Rudolf. In return, I had the chance to earn some gold and meet other players in the process (Maxwell, Angeliana, Sindarian)!
-Flesh Golem Mod (I think that was what they were)! Thanks to the good Doctor for keeping my butt safe!
-Sitting in the bar and ordering a drink. Honestly, the new look is just so inviting! Also a good opportunity to drown away the nasty images of the flesh monsters!
-NPC Shift! Got to run around as Mauricio, a rather...special Coast Havener pirate who wielded a barrel and wore a dress. Unfortunately, before he had the chance to do anything he was PROMPTLY MURDERED BY SOME BRUTES! I was looking forward to using him as well... He was going to be mute too. Would've been fun playing charades with everyone.
Saturday:
-Woke up early to meet Lucas and the other healers, though unfortunately only a few a shown up. It was a great step in creating a solid personality for my character! Thanks for the advice, Lucas!
-Having my first ever lesson (alongside Alicia) with Angeliana. Though Albert may not admit it, thank you for the first lesson! Can't wait to put that spell into use next event.
-Getting a request to personally meet the Baroness. Heart was pounding, I was so nervous! She gave an inspiring speech to good ol' Al about his depression over being a newcomer in Travance, and how they grow from experience with everyone little task they contribute... and then plot came to distract her! It was still a wonderful speech though! I feel a bit more confident in my roleplaying now!
-Market Fair! Spent all my gold on food, naturally (whoever made that candied bacon has earned my eternal love)! Also teaching Alicia the importance of gold and then helping her a bit in selling cookies. Best part was watching Lucas buy an entire plate, scream "Free cookies!" and watching players descend on the plate like a group of vultures! Priceless!
-Kleidin's soup. That is all. I JUST LOVE YOUR FOOD SO MUCH!
-Two lessons from Lucas, roleplaying a panic attack (which eventually turned into a real one) and growing from that experience. It wasn't the best roleplay, but it was a great step toward getting out of my nervous shell! Lucas gave Albert a little speech, and with enough courage he passed his lessons. Honestly, I really appreciated that little part so much! I was so nervous because I really wanted to interact with your character, Chris, but then finally got the chance! Hope to learn more from you in the future possibly.
-FEAST. Food was excellent! Also my slightly mistaken for racist moment with the Gypsies, which resulted in my cup being frozen and heated up. THANKS A LOT GUYS I DIDN'T MEAN LIKE THAT! Oh well, it gave something for the table to talk about at least, away from the scary... fairies.
-MAIN MOD! I didn't get to stay for long on the account of being frozen, but my experience was that NO ONE ACCEPTED MY HEALING SERVICES! I was overwhelmed with the amounts of healers running around. Made Al and myself feel a bit out of place, to be honest.
-Having a mini nervous breakdown over my jealousy, and being comforted by Christine OOG. I feel like I should tell you more often how much I appreciate you! Felt so much better after that.
-Sitting with others in the attic and just staring at the rat swarm that was ascending the stairs. It was promptly destroyed by everyone before it could even reach the top. (I just adore the image of three guys at the top wailing swords at the rats while it ascended.)
Sunday Morning
-SUNDAY! Well... I didn't do much Sunday actually. SLEEPY TIME!
So, yeah. Overall, at first I was uncertain about this event but overall I fared better than I expected! I've already prepared myself toward possible paths my character can take in the future and can't wait to follow them. I hope to meet more players for the Feb. event!

KR Highlights
Well let's see, I haven't been around since September due to working weekends and I must say that I picked a fantastic event to come back. I did get to see some people at the banquet, but that was mostly old friends this Event gave me a chance to meet new friends and hopefully welcome some people to the game for their first time!
I'd have to say the highlight of my event was the Cold and Freezing weather we had, as I don't believe I would have spent nearly as much time RPing with those in the Dragons Claw had the weather been nicer and I would have missed out on meeting some wonderful people this past weekend.
On a side note, if it's that cold next weekend I'm just larping in the kitchen.
I would like to note a few interesting People, Places and things that happened this weekend, since that is pretty much the exact definition of a Noun, here are my Awesome Nouns for KR.
Awesome Noun #1, the Great Steve (Clearly Myself) Vs Steve battle
Little did I know that every building was fill up with reserved beds and so I casually place my bedding on a top bunk of Dregamire (Quick side note, my autocorrect keeps changing that name to Dreamier), not thinking much of it. Then I found out the room was full, so it bargain, could I find someone willing to part with one of their beds for love money or country in the dead of winter.
While explaining all the begging, the swearing the fighting,g and the stomping of the feet, would be wearisome in the end a kind gentlemen for compensation undisclosed was willing to trade.
Victory.
Big thank you for all the entertainment that was had by a bubbling cauldron of chilly and a scholar and a knight for lending me your boots for my NPC shift.
All the bed flowers that Raquel had and her crew of merry pirates?
The constant threat barrage Steve and I kept up for hours on Friday. I won of course.
Awesome Noun #2
A combination of Harassing Stacy/Tari in to teaching sorcery and agreeing to my impromptu wand crafting class, which I would like to thank those who helped her craft a new wand by peer pressure and pure creativity. Also meeting Alice the Resident Inn Fixture that occasionally heals, wonderful times were had.
Last but not least to my Favorite Cat and Mouse bounty hunter and Kitty. Thank you for chasing each other For an hour for some gold, I hope to provide other bounty hunters in town with more bounties each month, help the PCs sharpen their skills.
Also opening negotiations to acquire more Ralenfolly's, and the chase is on!
Awesome Noun #3
Had a wonderful time playing a RedCap for Main Mod, two reasons come to mind.
#1 watching Brian Hahn fight so hard for ten minutes then just scream whisper that he needed to stop smoking cigarettes to me for like an hour, not that that impeded his destruction of PCs but I was pretty sure I was going to have Bury him afterwards.
#2 The face of Danielle Sanflippo when she windwalked over to me as the red cap when I was holding up a dead mother Remi in front of me to ask her to heal her friend then realized it was me and I made her scream for my hat or she was going to die.
Priceless.

Walking into feast through the back door and the reactions from everyone as they uncomfortably realized who was walking through. I had to be very careful where I was going to minimize the amount of face slapping my wings were trying to do. Ordering Alex and Emily to go sit with the peasants since the nobles snubbed us and Emily's temper tantrum were A+. Feast was delicious. Sitting with the PC's for feast was a ton of fun, especially when I started sneering at the humans and their silly gods and Brogan just stood up and left the conversation. The PC's I sat with (Karen, Terese, Jen C and Sophie) were incredibly entertaining and thank you to Justin T for letting me kick you out of your seat, you were such a good sport.
Thank you so much Kristen for giving me the opportunity to play this NPC again! Kristen put so much detail and thought into this weekend. I had a great time and spent hours on Friday and Saturday night RPing with everyone. Fun plot, would plot again.

Last minute highlights before I forget them!
Friday
-Rolling minor insanities at logistics!
-The meeting of the Unseelie Court. Loved the faeries. Especially Kelly as Hyporia: "Hmm. You look interesting. Have a seat."
-Teaching Skaroush Bear Strength.
Saturday (I don't remember what order these were in..)
-"Since you were raised by wolves, did you have to sniff Caelvan's butt when you first met him?" Thanks Billiam.
-Lessons with Hunter, including one I attempted to teach until I was so rudely waylay'd!
-Going to the Grove with Kliedin and Tris, relaxing among nature as Tris learned Commune with Nature.
-Leaving Keavy's name in the snow in a few spots, bringing up the question of whether she marks her territory or not.
-"Surprise!...?" New jokes with Bolton
-Hunting down the Mortalis.
-Feast with the scariest male faeire, the General. Just keep feeding him and giving him drink, Keavy, and he shouldn't hurt you. At least not now..
Main Mod
-Growling match with Dave's NPC wolf multiple times haha
-Being healed by Rowan in the bestest way
-Trying to help someone by taking them to Remy, not realizing that she was captured by a red cap. Trying to escape said red cap multiple times as he taunts me.
-Being able to join the fight against the demon, being there for the final blows as he falls from a shield bash.
Sad I didn't get to see Were-Sam though
Last minute Bottle mod that solidified Keavy's next profession. She wants to turn into a wolf again!
Sunday
-Skin walker mod. All the mauls!! x_x I don't think Keavy's ever had her arms and legs lobbed off so many times.
-Probably the biggest thing/moral dilemma to happen so far between Wormwood and Keavy. Very interesting conversation.
Keavy's got some thinking/'splainin' to do.

I don't quite understand why I have waited until now to post my highlights, but I'm doing them now before I forget. Sorry in advance if I happen to miss a really important event or something because it has been one week. Also, a big shout-out to Kristen for the event. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of thought, time, and effort put in that weekend. It was a really great and well thought-out event.
Friday
Admiring all of James' work on the bar. Kudos to you James and everyone that helped because I know there were a good amount of you.
Heading over to the Mages' Guild for a "special" meeting.
Finally the IG anouncement of the engagement between my brother and Mirwen. Also the food was good. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of hostility around when you realize that there is Rowan (a hobbit for those of you who don't know) and Billiamm together in the same room. I had to play bodyguard for the duration of the meeting sort of keeping myself between the two. Also defending T'soli from a fear that was caused by an attempt to pacify Billiamm as a precautionary measure to prevent fighting between him and Rowan.
I don't remember much else of what happened except for the fact that I was really tired.
Saturday Morning-Feast
Finally, a Mages' Guild mod that involved some undead Vikings and their human descendants. Nothing important really, just some Necromancy
Eating a good amount of food felt nice.
Literally walking around for about 30-45 minutes with Sannyiah and Aquene and not having a single clue of what we were actually doing even though they knew, they just never fully explained why.
I literally forget what else I did before feast.
Feast was delicious and had a close encounter with Kelly as the Faerie Queen as she tried to Dominate me to give her some information while I completely forgot that I had a Willpower and used an Immaculate Defense instead. Hey, it still worked and I didn't need the Immaculate Defense later.
Main Mod NPC Shift
Being a Redcap is so fun. For most of the main fight, I was hanging around with the other Redcaps (Steve and Brian) and just mopping up some PCs. Also witnessing Keavy run straight in front of Steve as a result of a Windwalker. So Steve had both Remi and Keavy and yelling for their lives to the townsmembers to give Steve back his hat. Cy, that's my hat, bro. I was glad that I finally got to you and knocked you down before I was quickly killed. Having the ultimate showdown with Gene (Billliamm) while I was buffed up to hit for 30 Magic as a result of the Redcap special ability. It didn't prove useful because when Gene heard my damage, he unloaded a majority of his card in which all of the skills he used were Superior. I was pretty sure he called about 6 or 7 Superiors. I just stood there for a good 10 seconds to realize how many attacks I was hit by and just falling on the ground. Almost had a glory moment when I didn't have my Redcap with me. A Healer came up to my dying body and used First Aid Assess. I said "0 out of 500 Body" with the most hopeful face and trying not to smile too much. I was then the recipient of Heal All Wounds and got up and was ready to attack... until Brogan showed up and also used a buch of tag skills on me. So close...
Saturday Night
Hanging around in the inn for a little bit and then joining a group to fight the Sam-Wolf. There wasn't much I could do in the sense of melee as I already used some tag skills and just staying with him so he didn't get too far off. Also, being Sam Dio's and Matt M's personal healers as they were continuously knocked down. We finally got done chasing Sam and a lot of people were encased with ice, so I just went around to at least 7 people and dispelling it.
Finally, getting out of the cold and going to bed.
Sunday
I also don't remember much but I did remember being interested as Lathiel to hunt a bear, but being told that I was too high-level. I was happy that one of the PCs planned to summon a Nature's Herald so I accepted the offer. So I got in garb and headed over to... I had no idea where to go at first, and when I finally got there most of the mod was being wrapped up. I was sort of disappointed, but was still glad that I could help out some PCs at least a little bit.
Lowlights
It was so cold!! I can't even calculate how many hours of the game have been spent with having some sort of warmers on me.
No other lowlights, it was all good
I hope I see such a new player turn-up next event and hope to see you all at February!

I've been forgetting to post these the past few months. Better late than never, I suppose.
Despite the weather, this was a wonderful event put on by Kristen. Some nice progress for my PC, fun times all around. And it was great seeing everyone again after nearly 2 months!
I think this event was the closest to plot I've ever been. It was nice to understand most of the pieces.
#1 highlight would have to be not being cold all weekend, due to careful preparations.
Friday
Meeting the Laurent-Belmonts that evening and getting an understanding of events.
Totem pole hill mod, aka the first attempt at finding the thread. Meeting the faeries and finding the mortalus instead.
June saves the day! Portal compass for the win, after Edwin leaves half our party behind, including the elder Belmont...
Going to do paperwork, and apparently missing getting cursed by the faerie queen. Tee hee.
Saturday
Going faerie door hunting in the woods with Sindarion and Bolton. Camp Sac is as beautiful as I've ever seen it with the snow and sun shining through the woods.
Getting to sit down with a group that involved the Baroness to discuss lores and the faeries. Presenting our findings to the Baroness and following this group around for most of the day.
Winning the magic item at Market Faire. This never happens to me!
Tea at Market Faire.
During the meeting in the monastery, finally having a chance to talk with Magnus about the guard.
Sitting with the Queen of the Unseelie at feast. Oh boy. Entertaining and incredibly nerve-wracking. Kelly, A++ costume, roleplay, character...the whole nine yards.
Reporting on said Queen to the baroness immediately afterwards.
Baroness Hartwoode v Queen of the Unseelie. Both Karen and Annora were floored by the depth of the RP and the seriousness of the discussion and decisions that had to be made.
Annora's introduction to bottle mod. Courtesy of Chris Goley, hilarious shenanigans ensue. Strange, discomfiting, and utterly hilarious...all at the same time.
Getting my first-ever tarot reading, IG or OOG, from Carlos. I am still blown away by what the cards revealed. There's a lot to ponder there...
Sunday
Hopping to it when asked to get coffee for Kristen (you deserved it!). And finally, finally opening the druid list.
In the process learning that Aleister is now an insta-druid. Huh.
Enjoying a lazy and educational Sunday.
All in all, excellent event where my PC got to go places, and I am eagerly awaiting February!

GOOD LORD IT WAS COLD. And still fun to boot
Friday
-Tagging along for the first encounter of fairies even if I wasn't all that useful
-Being employed as a bounty hunter and failing miserably. Outsmarted by a cat. Orion got a kick right in his humble parts.
-Getting to be a pirate for NPC shift and missing a chance to use Lore: Sea in the process. Curses!
Saturday
-All the Saturday Low Level mods. Catching up to Viktor with Pursue after he stole the candle....and having no way to stop him. But now I have Quick Bind. All is well!
-Getting kidnapped, having both my arms lopped off, being shown my guts and coming out of it with inanities. Builds character. Literally.
-Getting my armor made. And I have to say, I LOVED watching the smiths roleplay. I feel horrible that I forget your names. But as a LARP newbie, thank you
-Main mod was a lot of fun. Even as such a low level. Always fun to wack some faeries.
-Sleep on the couch again and not dying/losing items. Hooray for the good people of Travance
Sunday
-My first ever lesson! (Thanks Dmitri)
-Loooots of lessons.
-Peeling oranges for Dissect and getting gold in the process.
Thanks for making my second event awesome. See you next week!
