Hand-Bound Books for Sale was created by Mirwen Silverbow (Mirwen)
Hello everyone! I know some of you heard through word of mouth about the books I make, and I thought I would put up a notice here for anyone who might be curious.
I hand-bind hardcover books in various sizes and can customize them virtually any way you'd like.
Because of the incredible amount of variables that comes along with this, I would prefer to quote prices on a case-to-case basis, but I will say that they start at $20 for a 2.5x3, hardcover book with 100 cardstock pages and a plain, solid-colored cover. Customization, depending on how extensive and how detailed, can usually add between $5 and $15 to the price, unless there is something wildly detailed and all-encompassiong about it. Extra pages (my standard being 100) will be $5/fifty pages.
Leave a comment or send me a message if you're interested. For reference, here are a few examples that I have already made and distributed to buyers.

What would it cost to get a 100 page hard cover book with Drega'Mire's symbol on it??

For the Land Symbols, it would be $15 added onto the price for sizing. 2.5x5 pages would end up being $35, 3x5 pages $50, 4.25x5.5 pages $75. If you want paper that's a little heavier than your standard, multi-purpose, 20 lb (or 'computer') paper, that will add to the cost as well. Ribbon bookmarks as seen in two of the three books above would also be included for these prices. I assume you would want the books done in the land colors?

I need to wait for my finances to bounce back a bit before I can get one, but I am interested in a small one that fits in a pouch.

Amizar also binds books, and has always been in attendance. Most of my contributions to the library, including one of the two which were stolen, were bound by him.

Seconded!
I would also like to learn how, if that's something you wouldn't mind teaching.

I am totally willing to teach, and give access to my tools. Also, there's a wonderful forum at

I am all for a bookbinding collaboration! I make softcover leather journals. They are a bit scrappier looking, but hey, they still look period
