I've found it useful to keep a journal / binder on me for printouts of various rules, as well as holding my character card and item cards. Many of you have probably seen Gideon's Smithing book, which is a fancy 3-ring binder. They're also useful as Spell / Prayer / Sorcery / Ceremonial books, too.
Two good sources to find them:
www.rusticoleather.com/leathercddvdcases.aspx - various sizes, and less expensive than other options.
www.oberondesign.com/store/portfolios2.php - Fancier, but more expensive. 3-Ring Binders w/ or w/o pockets.

Holy crap, that's a lot of money for a blank leather book. If you need something cheaper, try the stuff below.

Hey, don't forget to sign with your real name!
Neat sites, I like the ones with the gilded gold on them.

Witch's Moon is the ape of the art. io bought a couple and a few custom smaller ones at an affordable rate. You do tend to pay top dollar for the best. That said, I have one of the ones from the second place as well. It's good, servicable, and perfect for a notebook. However, I decided to spend the extra money for what Fr. Edwin thought would be important works, like a tome he wrote and his "Summa Theologica." They look (or rather the latter looked before Wally lost it) splendid, as I immodestly think my writing deserves). the less expensive books also have a use; for me they are ideal for prayer books and such. However Paul; Shaffer (Amizar) took bookbinding as his trade, and true to form taught himself to bind books. Heather commented on the look and quality of the book in which one of my manuscripts appears and Paulo made that one. I'll have some for folks to look at this Event at Market Faire. Naturally, his craft has improved over time and his output per hour has improved, so his prices are reasonable.
