Hi all,
A friend will be at the event and would like to buy a chain mail shirt for the event (the bigger the better). Would anyone have one for sale or know if someone will be selling?

Chain is a very interesting option. Steel chain can weigh up to 30+ pounds
I highly recommend waiting, and picking up a micromesh chain shirt, they only weigh 5-8lbs and require much less maintenance. Ringmesh . Com

I also really like ringmesh. For someone who relies on heavily on mobility, especially, it's invaluable to get the protection without the encumbrance. We have fantastic elven, dwarven, and even fae smiths who can work metals that the real world can only dream about... why not go ham on it?

OOG I totally endorse the use of micromesh chain. I love them and think they're awesome, though my character's opinions may vary.
That being said I do have a chainshirt that i'm willing to sell. It's not high grade steel or anything but it weighs 17 pounds and would fit a decently sized guy, considering i'm fairly largely built, if your friend is interested.
