I'm Amy and I played at Wyvern rising since, I dont know 2005? something like that.  I used to be the weapons marshal, then college happened, I also know Sam and Kristin and Volk and those guys.  So I'm really really missing larp and I definetly want to try KR sometime. I definetly want to use a bow, 900% sure of it.  So if anyone needs a sister, wife, daughter, cousin, etc, im so down for that as well.

Hi there, and welcome to KR. First off, the above two posts are correct! :p

Also, since you seem to be pretty in the loop, I'd just like to say IM me anytime, I keep odd hours.

Also, watch out or you'll be married off in no time, we have a couple of pairing happy people abouts >.>

Nick Scott.

Yea, maybe.

So I should be a Tellinghast with a bow then, right on.

The statement I previously made is ironic because my character is not only a Tellinghast, but also an archer.

Sorry to cause any confusion  :)

Plus, compared to Tellinbghasts, we get a smaller increase in the rabbit population.

Hey Amy :)

Honestly, all these people's nonsensical joking aside, you're best bet is come in as your own entity, rather than trying to hook up with someone you've never actually met.  In my experience, such IG relationships usually end up coming off superficial, because you actually dont know the person you're playing with, In or Out of game, and you end up with a character you made to fit with someone else, rather than a character you'd really enjoy.  People here are really friendly though, so just make the character you'd have the most fun playing, come into game, and make friends that way.

If you'd like any help, either with info on the gameworld, rules stuff, whatever, feel free to IM me anytime.  I'm usually online, and my AIM name is in my profile.  Welcome, and while I personally won't be around in August (I leave for Florida for my Master's Degree in August) I hope you have a great time and I look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Hey there Amy,

I would also be more than happy to help you out in any way you need to set up a character here at KR. While I am not on AIM very much I can be reached by email at

I would also echo Kristen's advice about coming in as a character of your own creation as opposed to just jumping in with another character. We have a lot of great players and marshals here who will be more than happy to help you fill in any blanks you may have, so don't let yourself think there will be an absence of help if you have any questions either here on the boards or at an event.

Also to everyone else: the new player boards are not the best place for inside jokes. The point of these boards is to be a place to make new players feel welcomed to the game, not make them feel like they are coming to a place where they don't know what is going on.
