Happened across this in my internet travels....

And I coudn't be more hooked. 

I had always seen stuff like this in movies, TV shows, etc, but I thought it was only ever done on a small-scale between friends, and maybe more hardcore DnD players....I never thought there'd be such a fantastic organisation like this

All of my life I've loved fantasy--books, video games, RPGs, movies (ahhh the movies) and only as a closet fantasy have I acknowledged my desire to LARP.

The more I read about Knight Realms, the more eager I get to try an event out. I was reading around, and I'm 18 and can drive--would that make it fine if I came alone for a weekend event? Everyone here seems very nice and welcoming, and I hope I'd fit right in :]

Not to mention that there are plots tailored for all players, from the newest to the most experienced.  I don't know from which Springfield you are, but both Montco and Delco are close to the action, well within two hours travel time.
