Hello everyone!

I am just recently learned about this game at Comic-Con, and while I heard of it before, I must say that I am truly interested in it. I am a frequent roleplayer both online and offline, as I do LARPS at an anime convention each year (although those are different than this one, such as using rock papers scissors to decide attack successes and fails...). Also, I enjoy storytelling and character development, especially when both occur during the course of days. This was something that my previous LARPS lacked, as once the event was over, it didn't carry on to the next.

I am hoping to join the November event if I can get it so my work doesn't conflict with it. Either way, I am looking forward to meeting you all.

I don't think so. While I was at Comic-Con I talked to one guy who gave me information about the LARP. Later on I stopped by, talked a bit, and then bought some leather grieves.

Hey Zachary. Name is Conor if you were there Thursday you may have seen me there. I'm a new player marshal and I help people with any questions they may have. So if you have any at any point and time go ahead and post here, or shoot me a message. Myself or any others will get you an answer back.

I will be trying to go in November. Thing is I just started off work last week, so I am not sure if I can get those days cleared up just yet. I might need to ask about that. I already got a character design, race, and calss thought out, just need to read up the corebook and work on my sheet.

Zachary as an old timer recently returned I really think you are going to love KR. The peeps here are the best! And it just gets better and better over the years.

And because it hasn't been mentioned already: bring lots of socks.

Which anime LARPS did you attend? While Jason and I won't be at the early November event as we run an anime LARP that weekend, we will be at the December one. There is also the Ball which is a one day event you can attend for some nice RP opportunities. If you can't make the early November event check out if you can hit the ball. Either way look forward to playing with you in the future.

The only Anime LARP I attended was AnimeNext's LARP. It is fun still.

I have done that LARP(the last time I played I was Mikan Sakura from Gakuen Alice.. My hubby played this year though as the Special effects guy from Gimmick) and am friends with all the GMS there. We wrote the system that they use there at Anime Next and some of the characters on that database. Some of them LARP here at KR(we convinced them to come here) so they will definitely all help you out if you look for them.

Yeah, I remember you. Roy Mustang right? I was Kohei Nagisa, the Special Effects artist.

I knew there were people from Animenext who roleplayed at Knight Realms, and I am hoping to see you all when I do go in Novemeber. Also, one question: Is there any specific time the roleplay ends on Sunday? I am just checking so I can figure out my work hours.

On Sunday, 'lay-off' or cleanup hold usually happens around 2-ish.
Afterwards, everyone is required to do a camp cleanup assignment, as well as ensure that their sleeping area is clean and clear of stuff. Packing and cleaning takes some time...intermingled with OOG socializing . A lot of players usually stop at a local diner on their way home, as well.

I also know that if you do have work issues on Sunday, it is possible to get your camp clean up done early and get your cabin cleaned up and leave before Lay off.

Zach if you plan on making and playing a character then you would need some sort of costuming. (I can give you simple ideas for a cheap easy looking costume.) If you plan on NPCing for us then just bring black pants and shirt.

What ever you do make sure you bring the following: socks, socks, socks. (you will be told this over and over again.) Nothing helps game like a clean pair of socks. Sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, towel, black shirt and pants, and most important a comfortable and sturdy pair of shoes.

I am aware of costuming. In fact I put in an order for such things yesterday, so I hope I get it in time of the roleplay. And yes, socks, lots of socks. And thanks for the list.
