Hello Everyone,
I came to KnightRealms twice last summer but couldn't continue because of school. But now I am graduated!
I am coming to the event this coming weekend, and potentially continue through this next year. Since I am still a new player- it would be great to find some homes in already existing RP mini groups, so that I have motivation and reason to return.
I particular it would be awesome to join in with some other bards
Either way- I'll see you this weekend
Thanks!
~Tome

Yay new bard! I love new bards...then again, I happen to play bard as my second class There seems to be a good number of us as well as some sort of song circle going on, so always feel free to join in! If you are playing Gypsy, there is a set of caravans that I hear people are camping in/around, though I don't have much information on that one.
That being said, I will not be at this week, but I look forward to seeing you during future events! Just look for chainmail decked Gypsy, or the very green Dryad with an antler on her head.
You should be assaulted by the sock marshal soon, as well as plenty of new player marshals, so enjoy, and as always, ask anything/everything you have questions on. I went full monty and asked awkward things before my first event I don't happen to be a new player marshal, just chatty.

AWWW YIS BARDS.
:B
Hi, I'm Jen!
I'm not a new player marshal, but bring more socks.
I play a celt bard and a new player marshal named Jeff B. plays a bard, so he might pop in here sooner or later.
We've got two song circles for this upcoming week long event.
What race is your characters? Maybe I can point you towards a few players!
Lemme know how we can include you, and we sure as heck will.
-Jen
P.s.
Make sure to put your OOG name and surname initial in your signature!

Hi!
Congrats on graduating! I'm Jeff B. and as Jen said, I am both a new player marshal and a bard. What I would suggest is ask around about the various lands and see how comfortable you feel around each group. Depending on whom you ask, you may be nudged toward one or the other. Some of us are biased. But take a walk around to the statehouses--though not alone, at least at night--and find out as much as you can.
I'm always excited when there are new bards at game. While I do play a bard, I'm only just now getting over OOG stage fright. In-game, I have a bard friend named Trent who hangs out with another bard who goes by "Creepy Bard." Find them if they're in town and they should steer you in the right direction.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here. If you don't, I'll see you this weekend!
-Jeff

YES, I highly recommend meeting Creepy Bard. Sadly, he likely will not return until the Renn Faire season has passed, but I camp with those two gents as well. When at events, I would also be welcome to introduce you to my two teachers.

Magnificent!
Thanks for your replies.
I am a gypsy- but from an unaffiliated family (unless/until I find an ingame family willing to adopt me >o<)
I am really looking forward to learning as much of your lore as possible so that I can begin to make meaningful contributions to the community. But until then, I will probably be wandering around meeting people and going on adventures.
I cannot wait too meet all the bards- and everyone else too
P.s.
I'm arriving Thursday night and will frantically be looking for a bard to teach me a quick spell before the reset going into Friday! hehe.

Hello and welcome back/congrats of graduating! I'm Eddie Colon and I'm a new player marshal and Bard as well! If you have any questions I'll be more than happy to help. You'll likely find me with Jeff B or over by the Ostcliff statehouse/Bloody Stump.
I'll see you this weekend!

You are in good hands then.
Not only do gypsies love bards, they really love cousins as well. My gypsy was well accepted and welcomed, even though she has no affiliation and no friends upon her first day in Travance.

Welcome back to KR and congrats on graduating! If you're going to be at the June event be sure to find me. I'm a gypsy with a decent sized family and can help introduce you around to more of the kin. I'm also the Pathfinder of the Adventurers Guild which is a guild for those new to Travance. I can help you find profit, adventure and glory.
