Weapon sizing was created by Seth (Kurteth)
I'm creating my own weapon and hoping to use it in the upcoming game on the 12th!

Few questions, I know 60 inches is the cut off for two handed swords, but I couldn't find any information on the width or height? Would a 4 inch wide blade be accepted? I noticed the only information you have on it is "length is the only hard cut", on the weapon page, and the length is in the player handbook.

Also is there a weight limit?

I really hope that's okay because...It's already been cut that width and I'd hate to have to do it over again.

As a LM, 60" is hilt to tip, I am unsure what you mean by height.

There is no real weight requirement, as long as it's safe to use.

In the end it all comes down to the inspection of the weapon the first time you play. As nothing can be set in stone until it's at Logistics being looked at.

Hope this helped.

So X axis would be the length, 60". Y axis would be the Width, 4". Z axis would be the height, which I currently don't have measured as it's unfinished.

There is no set diameter (or height) limit for two-handed swords, but as Conor stated, it all comes down to safety. The weapon will be inspected when you first come to KR in order to insure the weapon is safe.

Thanks for the quick replies, two more things to make sure I'm reading this correctly:

1. The pommel needs to be 4 inches long of pure foam?
2. 60 inches hilt to tip does or does not include pommel?

You take a 4inch piece of foam and put it to the hilt. The foam will compress when you tape it. However the general rule is, if you can feel the PVC through the foam at either end of the weapon, you need more foam there.

60" is pommel to tip. The entire length of the weapon.
