It depends really. I've seen people's back stories be approved in a few weeks, others are going on a year and haven't been yet.

There are done in batches and it can take weeks to months. More complicated backgrounds can take longer to approve.

If your backstory isn't anything extravagant, you don't have to worry about it not being approved yet. So if your character isn't the son or daughter of royalty, you should be fine.

I want to talk to someone about an involved backstory before it's written down (and therefore, to me, set), but I can't find anyone to talk to about it. I keep getting referred to others, or not hearing back at all. Part of the issue is that while I'm not PCing yet, there's been between-event roleplay with those who are, and I want as much of it to be canon for our characters as possible.

Main: Grigori the grumpy healer, adopted member of the Tribe of Berk, adviser to Chief Darius Redmaw.
Alt: Dorian White, physician and alchemist for hire.
Alt: Ruy Sanchez de Castor y Ortiz, the best swordsman in all of Coast Haven!

I'm not an Atmosphere Marshal, but you can message me on Facebook and I'll try to help anyway.

Tori is the Atmosphere deputy and questions of that nature would go to her.
