Is Batman even in this movie?  You'd never know it from the trailers.

Saw it in IMAX last night. It really was amazing. Joker owned the movie and everyone in it.

Might have been the best movie I've ever seen.

It was... intense. I bit off all of my fingernails.

The Dark Knight is by far the best move of the year.

It's long, but at the same time time not boring. It keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end and never lets you settle back in.

The Joker is perfect... nuff said.

I shed a single tear near the end when The Joker says "We could do this forever..." And I thought to myself, I only wish.

I am foolish enough almost.  I haven't seen it but I did read an article that Ledger may NOT be eligible or some nonsense to be able to receive an Oscar for his work on Batman.

I'll post the link to the article when I get back home.

edit: PS: Home now... here's the link news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080717/film_nm/ledger_dc .  Turns out there's no rule, but most "experts" say comic book movies and post humous awards in the history of the Academy rarely/ever occur.

It would be an outright crime, if he didn't at least get nominated.

Ditto, minus the IMAX part.

I saw it, and yeah, it was pretty good.  It's not as good as the hype has made it out to be, but still enjoyable.  It was too long though.  They could easily saved Two-Face for the next movie and cut 30-40 minutes from it.

Also, while Heath Ledger far surpassed Jack Nicholson in the role (which impressed the **** out of me), I highly doubt he'll win the Oscar.

As I said though, overall a thoroughly enjoyable movie.

Lol, not sure whether to feel sorry for the cat or the owner xD

Dark Knight was an amazing super-hero movie, and it was the Joker who made it. Christian Bale, a damn good actor, was simply left in the dust of the monstrously well-played Joker.
