Hey All,
I just got some 2/1 adult ticket coupons for opening day of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Aug. 9-10 and wanted to know if anyone wanted to get together for a caravan of KR players to hit it
30 bucks a ticket, which works out to 15 each if we get an even amount of people
Send me a line if you guys can and want to go Saturday with me. More info at PaRenFaire.com

On a related note... is anyone planning on going to the NY Ren Faire in Tuxedo?

The NY Ren Faire starts this weekend and goes on until September 5th I think.  I know it's open on Labor Day, and that's Monday, September 1st.  It's every Saturday and Sunday.

I can make it almost any weekend from the Next event on.  Being flexible (i.e., semiretired and working for myself) , I can also go during the week if they are open.

I might be stopping at both the PA renfaire as well as the one up in New York. Rayven and I will be heading up to New York because Moresca will be there :-)

I am disappointed no one showed up Sat. but I had such an amazing time at the Ren Faire. I also found out two of my friends are in a troupe there, and applied for production work there. I also fell in love with a Sultry Siren with a golden voice... but it was a really fun time and a great experience, I need to go again, maybe Labor day

Labor Day  Monday is going to be impossible for me, as I will be in Ithaca, which alone will not prevent me from making it, but must hie over to LaGuardia by night to pick up the three boys coming back, after a hurricane induced 4 day delay, from Jamaica and then driving them directly to UDE.  Its not going to be my favorite day.  I can make it other weekends in September.

Rayven and I will be heading up to Tuxedo for Labor Day Monday and we should be there around 2 if the traffic isn't so bad! Hope to see some familiar KR faces there!

lol ok Geoff we'll be looking for you guys! We gotta run up there since moresca is there and grab me a bodice for my masquerade costume/gypsy outfit lol. i'm really excited. I should be in the same dress i wore last event. Rayven will be in his bright green and yellow tabard. SO you keep your eyes out for yellow and i'll keep my eyes out for purple. How did the pictures come out by the way? were they to your liking?

ouch that sounds painful! well.. i absolutely need a bodice for this next event and masquerade coming up. i was told moresca was the best, but if you know someplace better or at least nicer where i could get an awesome well made corset/bodice then i would be more than happy to take a look. the only reason i say moresca is because i was able to look at their sight, pretty much know what i want and be able to be fitted right there and leave the fair with a  bodice :-)
