For those of you who like the challenge of whitewater and do not have the budget to go to Colorado, Idaho, etc., twice a year Lake Nockamixon empties into the Tohickon Creek. For one glorious day, you get class 3 and 4 rapids over a 7 mile stretch of usually placid stream. They just had one a few weeks back, with the next scheduled for April or May. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will keep you informed.
Class 4 rapids are pretty rare around here, with the Delaware occasionally getting one that high up around the gap.
