There was a girl at Faerie Con 2007 that had awesome home made satyr hooves that were like high heels, without the heel in the back.  She basically walked on her toes all day.  She looked awesome.

Now, as awesome as these are, the practicality at KR is minimal. I can't imagine someone walking around in stiletto heels at an event. Maybe at the masquerade ball, but going too far away from the inn in heels just doesn't make sense.

Now I've seen a "heel-less" shoe before, similar concept, just no back heel. If I can find a picture again, ill post it.

Jumping stilts

I've seen these stilts before.  The spring action allows the wearer to run and jump pretty good distances.  Get some leather, fur, and latex over it and it would make a good larp costume for some players.  Obvious drawback is that if the user isn't used to the stilts, they could wind up over-shotting their movements and wind up jumping or running too far that they lose control.

The guy that runs Hous of Tobias had a great design going for his legs. Instead of the wearer bending, make the clothes appear to bend.

You know, I was sincerely hoping we were going to bash on people who play satyrs here.  Thanks for the disappointment.

Also, while very cool and expensive and stuff, I will stand by the immutable truth that the very best cheap satyr hooves are at go-go apparel stores all over the country.

Seriously, why isn't THIS satyr in Travance?

Grandpappy Dreamchylde is totally a white satyr.  Sadly he will never have those legs.

it's a nice idea jason, but wearing something like that while running around in the woods probably wouldn't be that safe haha

You know Jimbob, we can just start making fun of Joe if you want.  I mean he's in England, does he really matter anymore?
