Looks like a decent cast.  Ryan Renolds as Deadpool AND they are finally introducing Gambit!

Until I actually hear it confirmed by the Merc With A Mouth I'm not posting a thing. imdb has been wrong many times, though the Gambit portion is true.

Let's put it this way, until I see pics of filming taking place (with D'Pool) it's all just a possibility.

Besides, they don't even list Blob as being a part and that's made the circles the last few weeks.

Gambit is a homo, just look at his outfit.

Isn't Deadpool a comical character?  Or am I thinking of someone else?

See?  That's why I didn't click the link without Clint's say-so.  It's probably all just heresay and such.  Damn link probably would have dashed my hopes for nothing!!

Deadpool is pretty funny, he has a lot of good one-liners.

Whether Deadpool will actually be in it or not I could believe that they would at least be honestly considering him. I forget what other characters besides Wolverine, Sabertooth and Deadpool have been a part of the weapon-X plot lines, but Deadpool is defiantly one of the more popular.

Spidey was the only other one-liner/quipper I could think of off the top of my head.  :D

So we are supposedly getting Wolvie's origins and Iron Man is this summer?  No news of any other comic icons coming to the big screen?  There's still no Watchmen movie?  Avengers?  New Captain America?

The Weapon X program has spawned Deadpool, X, and a few other mutants. The thing I like is that will.i.am is playing one of the most semi-unknown Weapon X people.

Comparing Spiderman's one liners vs the fourth wall breaking jokes of the merc with a mouth is unbalanced. He knows he has thought bubbles and takes the universe for granted.

I honestly don't know much about the original avengers, but I've read every new avengers up to date and they're pretty frikin' awesome. I can't wait to see a movie about all o' that.
I heart Cap.

I don't know how ryan reynolds will hold up as deadpool. It seems like a totally hit or miss character for him. I will cross my fingers for good writing.

As long as he actually plays Deadpool...
Blade Trinity pretty much took Hannibal King from the comics....put him in a blender, then onto the screen.  But then the first Blade movie was by far the best of the three.

I do got agree with Quaz that Wolverine is very much overrates and overused.  He is becoming Marvel's version of Superman...who I also dislike.

They need to get around to making a Moon Knight movie.

The Moon Knight movie would be like the Man-Thing movie...bad

Deadpool is the greatest comic book character ever, hence why Odin bestowed upon him the powers of Thor and he was cursed with the face of Tom Cruise.

Spidey is like a Last Comic Standing wiseguy as where Deadpool reaches the level only seen by George Carlin and similar folk.

My problem with these "rumors" is have Merry play Beak. How you don't have DJ Qualls playing Beak is beyond me.

Doom f'n owns, Franklin Richards is actually HIS child daddy-o

Marvel movies this summer is Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk

Speaking of which, Where is my Deathlok movie? It's suppose to be the combination of Falling Down and Universal Soldier.

If done right, a Moon Knight movie could be awesome.  It would need to be gritty and possibly violent as well.  Only problem is Moon Knight doesn't really have many A list villians.

Yeah, they are redoing/sequel to the Hulk.  Ed Norton is playing Bruce Banner, I don't care for Hulk that much (except for Joe Fixit) but I love Ed Norton.

I think Ed Norton rewrote parts of the Hulk script as well. Any movie that man touches turns to gold.

He actually pretty much re-wrote the whole thing to the point where the director keeps talking about how it is Ed Norton's script.

It isn't a sequel, it's a relaunch, think Batman Begins but with The Hulk

Hulk vs Abomination (played by Tim Roth)
Liv Tyler-Betty Ross
Thunderbolt Ross-William Hurt

Mace W. Jackson is in both Hulk and Iron Man prepping for Quagz's favorite movie, can you guess as who...

Deadpool constantly breaks his 4th wall and comments to the audience and on the fact that he's in a comic. As such, I could see why he might comment on being in a movie. However, I'm not sure how well that would work and they may just leave that aspect of the comic out.
