Yeah, so the first batch of playtesters have been able to post non-technical reviews of the game.  A few things caught my eye:

1) You don't need the D&D Insider service (monthly subscription based service to get additional content).  Apparently it will add to the game, but people have been playing for months with the 3 core books and no problems.

2) Apparently it keeps the heart and soul of the game while deep sixing everything that made the game plod along.

3) Every review I have read began thus:  I really wanted to hate this game, BUT...

I guess it may not be a disaster.  And to be honest, if the changes are anything like going from Revised Star Wars to Star Wars Saga Edition, it can only be good.  Guess we'll see in June, right?

I honestly like Sagas. It's a good system that made it simple, fun, and let you complicate things if you wanted to.
