(Lord of two lands)

(King drum)

If someone can take a minute to listen to this lovely pieces of music. Can you tel me what kind of drum this is? Im assuming its a Kodo drum but i just want make sure i definitely sure that the second piece is the kodo drum. If so im going to try to find one or something that could imitate that sound for KR a savage drum banging into the night i think would just give the average warrior a little bit more kick. Im very into drums of this style and i was just taking a walk listening to one of my many songs of this style and thought to myself how awesome would it be to hear one of these drums in the middle of a fight as a barbarian. Tears would run down my face in happiness haha!

So if i am right if it is the kodo then idk if im S.O.L because those things are HUGE! But just for the sake of an outside opinion and for the sake of sharring my Chaotic Neutral instrumental playlist. Also if you like instrumentals aswell drums, epics etc. Dont be shy to share :D

Hi!

Now, I am no drum specialist (strings are my major, followed by brass) but it sounds like it could just be a bass drum. The picture on the background is definately a bass drum. If you are looking for portable drums that have a deeper tone, a djembe or a large congo could give you the sound you are looking for. It might be a little difficult to actually carry any drum that would give you a deep tone like that into battle because of the size (the larger the instrument the deeper the sound), but it'd be pretty awesome!

I'm fairly sure the second link is Kodo drums along with some others.

Look up World Percussion instruments. Here is a site I recommend as a music teacher:

www.wwbw.com/World-Percussion-Drums---Percussion1.wwbw

If you have anymore questions you can PM me or post them up here as I am sure there are more people who have knowledge of this kind of stuff at KR.

BTW, where did you find this music? It's super kickass and I kind of want to get the album(s) now.

I used to have a lot of spare time and i used to right stories and just wished i could make it into film (Used to make films too or just help edit them which im good at if i do say so myself), so just for the heck of it i lurked the internet for instrumental music,Trailer music all that for like my dream movie.

Now what your listening too is Two Steps from hell and Brand X most of these pieces you would hear in the movies "2012,300,LOTR,Harry Potter, Riddick."

Aside from good plot lines i believe music is what captures you into the movie maybe not in a obvious fashion. IMO music is the most brilliant invention man has created. But sigh, i just wish i wasn't so lazy or i bet i could make some really epic stuff haha.

Master of Shadows by Two Steps from Hell 2012 worth listening too.

And another Brand X piece called Bring The Pain. I have more Artists just these two get me going more. Oh and lastly Might i recommend as well, maybe if you want you should look into Hans Zimmer and Jesper Kyd.

You might know there music from Darknight, Call of duty series, Hitman the movie and video game
