To be blunt, no... there's no reason for one. All of the content is enabled for mobile devices already, or available through third party apps such as Tapatalk.
I'm an Apple guy, as you know... but I also believe in doing it right the first time, and making one version of everything, that works on all devices. The website is mobile-friendly, the rulebook is in PDF & HTML, etc.
As much as I love Apple, they make it difficult to make things for anyone other than them (see: iBooks Author. ePub, or a PDF formatted for the iPad, but not paper).
The Android App is unofficial, and unsupported by KR - it's a personal project by Sean Mahoney. If he decides to code one for the iPhone as well, he's welcome to, but there will not be an official iOS app - there's no reason when a universal format is already in use.
