For those that live in the Northern NJ area and like to do archery.
There is a freeish range in Franklin Lakes: Campgaw. They have 5-30 yard targets and a walkable 3D range that goes up to 80 yards.

There is also a pay to shoot range: Targeteers Archery:
101 U.S. 46 Saddle Brook, NJ 07663
(201) 843-7788

It is 15 dollars to shoot there or 10 dollars if you buy a bow from them. They have tons of archery supplies, but are a wee expensive, but if you want it they pretty much have anything archery related except for boffer arrows.

I usually shoot at Campgaw everyday, it's very relaxing there. The only things to worry about are overshooting and the rock of doom between the second and third target. It really motivates you to become more accurate. :silly:

The Campgaw range is $12 a year for an entire family, for residents of Bergen County. If you are from another county I THINK there is a more expensive pass you can buy.

Yeah I bought my bows there and my arrows and had them sized to my draw and refletched to feather, so I tend to buy the more costly things. I like the work they do and they occasionally throw in freebies. However there are some items in there that are a bit expensive. Thank goodness I don't have a compound bow. I guess I should reword what I say to be archery is just expensive. They don't overcharge as their prices are comparable to other places. It's just amazing how things can escalate when you are starting out.
