Forum tabs

I don't know about everyone else, but the row of tabs (My Profile, My Messages, Forum Index, Recent Topics, No Replies, User List, Search) across the top section of the middle frame of the KR page seems to be broken up now. As a result, it's wrapping across & looks odd to me. Anyone else getting this?

I do at times, when my browser window is not stretching across my entire screen.
I believe it's merely because the KR site is not optimized for smaller screens.

I added the word "Forum" to "Index" - the extra length may have done it, as Karen noted.

Does anyone use Help or Search at all? I can drop them if they will free up room.

Take out My Messages. There's already a "Private Messages" link on the right side.

I use search a lot. It helps me look for threads before I ask questions.

To be honest, the KR site has always done this for me:

I never even really noticed until it was brought up. I usually browse on my 13" laptop with my browser window spanning about 80% of the screen--breaking the tabs up in the process.

Unless you remove half the tabs (some of which are used often), it's not going to fix the problem on my computer. Not that I particularly care, but it's symptomatic of the larger fact that this site just is not as nice on smaller screens.

For me, far more annoying than the tabs wrapping around it my inability to view the photo gallery properly without pictures cutting off on my laptop...but that's a whole separate discussion.

This might be something you've already tried, but in case you haven't: perhaps try pressing [ctrl -]? In most browsers, that shrinks the page. Your tabs should hop back onto a single line.

In case this doesn't work, or the text becomes too small to read, pressing [ctrl +] does the reverse.

Incidentally, Karen, this seems to sort the photo gallery out too.

I've done that already & it does fix it, but I dislike how the way it looks. It's not a major issue, just something that I noticed change recently.
