I'm planning to start running a game of "The One Ring" a new-ish table top system set in the Lord of the Rings world. The campaign is set in greater Mirkwood in between the end of the Hobbit and the beginning of the War of the Ring.
The system is dark in nature and I'll be injecting a bit of horror into the narration. The system is will equipped to handle this.
I'm looking for 2-3 players to join my play group. I take my GM very seriously and am in search of players who are more interested in narrative storytelling and less in tactical wargaming.
We'll meet bi-weekly starting this coming Monday (the 17th) around 6:30 at a game store in the New Brunswick, NJ area.
Please PM me if you're interested, thanks!

PC of the Month
Sorel
It was very close this month and it was difficult to make a choice, but we're awarding Liam as Sorel "Best PC" for July. Liam has been rapidly developing into a solid role-player. Sorel is a likeable character that is using his resources to become more involved in the folds of Travance. His very real and convincing, awestruck reactions to discovering some of his heritage, his palpable frustration and stubbornness when others attempted to pull him away too early from his newfound knowledge, and the way he cleverly fit a few puzzle pieces together gets him our notice. Thanks Liam, awesome job! Honorable mention: Jon as Antrim also did a great job this month, leading the town against the dark forces!
