Chain Mail / Scale Mail Class

Several people have expressed interest in working with scale mail. I will have materials with me (large scales, split rings & jump rings).

This is a great way to see if this is a project you wish to pursue and materials you want to use.

Additionally I will have instructions and materials to make scale flowers.

If you are interested please post. If you partake you are welcome to keep what you make I just ask $1.00 for materials.

I'd definitely love to try working with split rings, see how annoying they actually are

That sounds amazing, I just started making Byzantine-styled chain mail bracelets myself and I'd love to see what else I can pick up. I'd be glad to join you guys and gals.

Always been interested and just recently finished a house project that was clogging up my free time. So, count me in.

I appreciate the interest. I will have a good amount of materials however I will only have a handful of tools.

Those of you participating I would like to you to bring 2 sets of pliers (those of you who have worked with chain mail before probably have their preferred tools).

Regretfully some of you missed the class due to varying degrees of weekend involvement.

There will be a Scale Mail / Chain Mail Class during Market Fair on Saturday Morning / Afternoon. Weather dependent I will run the same course on Sunday Morning.
