In the future I am considering exploring a more Florentine style of fighting with two single-handed blades. Because of the style I am exploring I would like to stick to blades that have a limited, minimal or absent crossguard and have more of a "machete" shape to them as well as some good heft and balance. I dislike some of the really light LARP swords and would like to invest in heavier blades that are still safe to use. Does anyone have any swords they would recommend?

While the shape doesn't fit your criteria, the Grossesmesser on Larp Exchange has quite the weight. I'll let you try with mine if you're at Week!
