Last event some time during the event, spies were sent out to commit espionage and collect information on the war actions submitted for the War Table. We may have not communicated this unequivocally to the marshals, but this is not the type of encounter we ever intended to send out, nor will we be sending this type of encounter out in the future. If we want players to openly communicate and strategize together we cannot allow and encounter to effect it in a way that would jeopardize the integrity and security of the war and actions submitted.
We do not choose to blatantly retcon actions lightly, but in this instance, to make it clear that such actions cannot happen, we are actively retconning the spies having ever been sent out. Everything surrounding this encounter did not take place and we will be extra vigilant to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.
