Did they do something wrong. I am sorry if this question seems obvious, however many of the new towns members may wonder the same thing.

For those of you who are unaware:
The Sons of Saints are a mercenary group out of Coast Haven. This group has been known for the ruthless manner in which they carry out the jobs they are hired for. I myself have had several encounters in the past, both before and after my arrival here in Travance. To my knowledge there was, at one point, a "kill on sight" order put out for any members that may be within the borders of Travance.
As for the order, I am unsure if it is still in place, but that alone would tell you what sort of people these mercenaries are.

Master DuMorne, would you please explain the purpose of this posting? The language is excessively unclear.

The above looks to be a job advertisement, as if you are looking to hire a Saintly Son. Then, Master Ashby has explained that this is a mercenary group, which seems to imply that you might be looking for a Saintly Son to question or something along those lines? What kind of permanent position are you looking to fill? What manner of job are your advertising?

Please elaborate for the sake of our citizenry.

Unless a Noble wishes to correct me or change it, the order to kill the Sons of Saints on sight has never been lifted. As beneficial as information from one of them might be, in the times we have dealt with them in the past, they had ways of escaping, and one had brought up something about scrying on those taken captive should they be taken. I would speak to the Count before pushing this further, since if memory serves, he was the one to give the kill on sight order in the first place.

All questions or concerns will be answered via personal missive.

Mister DuMorne,

I would consider you somewhat incredutous to place conditions on the manner with which you would answer the Lady Elawyn.
Pehaps if the Captain of the guard brings you for a visit to the Baronial dungeons you might be more forthcoming.
I would have probably informed everyone that I have already answered by private missives and that any further inquiries should be done in this manor, and not throw the Lady Elawyn with the masses to whom you would anwer however you see fit.

Dear Quan Lui,

If you wish a walk to the Baronial dungeon, I'd be happy to accompany you; it is part of my duty as Court Chancellor to Alisandria to address any concerns a Captain of the Guard might have. We are after all, both men of honor and service.

Before we take our walk though, let me add that before I wrote my note about personal missives I had already contacted Lady Elawyn- out of respect for her title and the friendship that I bear her- addressing all her questions and concerns, instead of, as you put it, "casting her to the masses."

As you noted, perhaps there were better ways for me to word my previous post, but I hope you can understand that I made the best with the time I had, however clumsily phrased, in order to serve and protect our people.

I would urge you to contact me privately, where I would best be able to address your inquiries, if you have your own questions or concerns.
