Due to the fact that over the long years, you people have found it fashionable to fight in the inn, I have finally decided to gut the place and rebuild! Craftsmen have been working all week and will have everything done by the upcoming Baronial feast. The new bar is built from a special sturdy wood, that should withstand our patrons violent ways. In the spirit of the grand re-opening, the Dragons Claw will be starting and maintaining a number of special deals.

Newcomers Drink free
If you have just arrived in Travance for the first time, then for the next few days you will not be charged for a mug of common ale. Just tell the bartender that you just arrived from across the rift, and you would like a mug ale, and you will not be charged. The catch is, you MUST drink this mug of ale while staying at the bar… that way you don’t get cornswaggled into smuggling free drinks.

Genuine Dragon’s Breath!
For as far as our records can indicate, we’ve served the watered down imitation stuff. Those kegs have been dumped, and now we order only genuine Dragons Breath, brewed and shipped from the Spellberg brewery in Ravenhurst. REAL Dragon’s Breath, is potent and can knock you on your ass! But it also puts hair on your chest and can give you a short burst of energy. (+10 healable BP for the period). Having more than one of these before the effects of the first completely wear off, results in immediate unconsciousness and drunken slumber as well as canceling out its positive effects. Comes only in mugs and MUST be drunk at the bar, for safety reasons! Order it by name. “Dragon’s Breath!”

The Dragon’s Claw 100 Mug Club!
This elite club is for frequent patrons of the Dragons Claw. We wish to encourage a bar camaraderie with you! This spirit of this is to sit at the bar and relax, have a drink and maybe some conversation with the workers or other patrons. For each time you order a mug of “Dwarven Reserve” or in the case of those less hearty a chalice of “Elven Reserve” and drink it casually at the bar, it will be entered into our logbooks. After accumulating a hundred drinks, we will carve your name into a mug or chalice and hang it at the bar. This elite club is not about being a race, it is a long term investment in good times to be shared, savored and not rushed through.
