A vile creature is paradin' around town tellin' the wee common folk, the big jobs are evil, ctuel, and lettin' there people suffer. This creature wears the guise of man, ye ken. If'n the rumor is true it comes for heroes, so I say it is time for us to face our wierd and test this monster's mettle.
And ye wee beastie if'n ye can read, ye t'ink you are humting us, well I am huntin' you. You have not yet been privvy to what true resolve and strength can yield. Cause ye are a coward pickin on them folks weaker then you. Ye killed atleast t'ree of me fella' highlanders, I am gonna make you.pay dearly.

This creature has truly absurd strength, as I saw he buried a tree in the face of a mountain. Be weary in your travels, my friends, and keep an eye out for those who cannot protect themselves.

If this is the same thing I'm finding, it's creatures, like many.
Here's what I've found so far.
The individuals are behind the recent flyers and idleness on the part of the peasants. In a nutshell, they bribed them to do it.
They have some sort of connection with time and fire. I saw evidence of a crater around a quarter of a mile wide.
There is the possibility that the might have some sort of rift ability.
I am sorry that I didn't post this sooner. I have taken ill since last moon. I should be fine by next moon, though.
My investigation will continue. Valos and Travance will prevail.

If this is all the same story it can grant people powers... create cretures... and eventually takes the life of these people

I was in that town as it became a crater, I saw it happen. I still do not understand what it was that happened, it looked like magic, but I am unsure.
These monsters might have been people at one time. I have a vial of the substance that may have been used to create them.
There is a group that is leading this. The only reason for them to be doing this from what I've gathered is to cause damage. They paid the people to revolt as a way to obscure something, most likely the making of this monster.

Wow. This is somehow even worse than I thought.
Now, I ain't going to even hint about commanding a squire and two knights, but I'd say that it might be a good idea once we get on the Proper to all get together with the scholars so, if they're willing, they can get started on getting to the bottom of this mess right away. And it would be real helpful if you brought two copies or so of your notes, please.
Any assistance I can provide I'll be happy to do so.

I don't keep notes Bat, its not really a practice my people keep. Come find me on Friday and I'll be happy to go over what I've found to you and if you would like to write it down, that is fine.

Ma'am, I will be happy to follow up with you. Please forgive my slow handwriting in advance.
Mr Wormwood, thank you for the compliment but I disagree. Knight Captain Magnus is a fine leader and deserves the position. And as for me, most of what I do anyone can do and does. Most of what I do is a little me and a lot of the rest of the town who put up with me asking them questions. If I can see far, it is because I stand on the shoulders of heroes. At the end of the day, I'm just a good ol' boy.
