That way, we know what times, where they're at, and what does or does not overlap.

HERE'S HOPING!
It's still early, and I know a few things are being worked out and planned.

In a day, if nothing is set in stone, I will start setting up events.

Kaladonia will be hosting a "You bring it, you grill it" on Friday, starting at about 2:00 PM until late. We will provide the grill and the charcoal, we ask that you bring the food to grill, and the gumption to cook it (i.e. - we won't cook it for you). You can work with your friends as a collective to buy, cook, and clean up food.

We ask that you bring a grilling sheet or the like, as our grill is new and many people will be using it. Also, we ask that you clean up after yourselves, and give other people the chance to cook as well.

I suspect we will also be breaking in our new fire pit on Thursday night, but have yet to actually formalize this. I would not be upset if an excuse to light a large fire at that time and place came up.

Thursday night at 8 bells at the Kaledonian fire pit will be the song circle. As was done the past few years, we shall start it children appropriate, and at 10 bells we will allow it to become bawdy. I shall make a separate post with full details as well.

I would like to host an Honour Dual Tournament, if allowed. No fancy tricks, the first to 3 strikes, lead by 2 for ties, nothing special, just a chance for many to test their metal so to speak. Should you please contact me with how to go about this?

Strength Duty Mission Faith

We used to hold Song Circles a few hours before feast.
I'm thinking we may hold one on Saturday around 4bells in the afternoon.
If something else comes up, I will change it. Perhaps move it more into the evening so firepits can be used.

So sorry for the late addition, but the first night of the gathering, there will be sweet treats available to any who wish to stop by the Monastery. This is not a church function, several people who stay there merely wish to open up our icebox and share with you what's inside, for a modest bit of coin, of course.

Hosted by yours truly, George, Tamzyn, and Ilana, here is what we'll have:

Ales & Meads a la Mode (which, depending on where you hail from, either means "with a Halfling" or "with ice cream")

Priced at 3 gold pieces, we will offer a base serving of vanilla flavored ice cream(maybe others as well), which then will have either an orange mead or a root ale poured over it, your choice. Fantastic way to start the extended gathering, and cool down from the heat the druids tell me we're expecting!

Priced at 1 gold piece, we will also have an assortment of frozen juice pops, flavor availability may vary.

We are looking to start offering these up around 8 bells in the evening, and we will continue to serve until we have exhausted our supplies. Please try to have coin in hand, but we do also welcome bank transfers as needed to accommodate.

May I ask when the theological discussion is going to take place on Thursday?

I enjoyed the one last year, and would like to attend this one.

A few members of the Baronial Guard will be holding a baked good sale at the barracks at 8 bells in the eve Thursday . We will have 3 cobblers while supplies last. Price should be around 3 gold a bowl. Notes will also be accepted.

Meander and I will be hosting a light brunch on Friday in Pendarvin at 11 bells in the morning.

Tea, ale, and light refreshments easily available.

A skald circle may also be occurring at the same time, so if you enjoy a few drinks, a good story, and want to share your own, please stop by!
