Past Barons/Leaders of Travance was created by geezer (geezer)
Some months back an inquisitive individual made a post asking for a listing of the past barons of Travance. Indeed, one was provided. Something struck me as being a bit off, and after wading through volumes of records I have found it - namely not all the past leaders of Travance were Barons. This is the complete list, from oldest to last. I am working on establishing the dates, but much of what I find indicates "He ruled for a few years" or some other inexactitude.
Baron Jonathan Travance
Sir Corum (for around three months)
Duke De'Amore (for around a year)
Baron Klarington Everest
Baron Garrison Corvin
Baron Klarington Everest (again)
Baron Duncan inverness
Baron Sebastian Everest
Steward William Montgomery
Baron William Montgomery
Baroness Mixolydia Hartwoode
There was a period of a few months after the second death of Baron Klarington Everestand before the arrival of (then) Lord Inverness, called "The Dark Times," in which a mob of Light Clergy and Paladins held sway, but that is inconsequential.

Not inconsequential, perhaps regrettable. I was not present for that period of time that made quite an impression on many. I was unaware it lasted only a few months. It makes some of the tall tales I have heard about the Tellinghasts seem even more far fetched and self serving.

[strike]Baron[/strike] Sir Corum follows Baron Jonathan Travance, although I do not know from when to when either man ruled.

Nalick - I have no record of a Baron Corum, though as I mentioned, I found a Corvin. The spelling of the third to rule Travance varies by the sources, but I saw none spelled Corum. If you could supply me with some authentication, I would be happy to examine it.
Br Aldric - Inconsequential refers to the ruling of the land. As to the Tellinghasts, we should speak in person on this topic.

Master Haroldson, I would like to have that conversation. I am most curious about the Tellinghasts and feel sure that the stories were exaggerated.

Edwin,
My source is Sir Philadin in the similar string of postings from last moon, when he claimed [strike]Baron[/strike]Sir Corum was missing.
-Nalick
I stand corrected by His Grace. Sir Corum. My apologies.

Because I am interested in making sure the facts are not mis-remembered, I leave you with the following:
Sir Corum (Not to be confused with Baron Corvin) was a knight and never a baron, but was in control of Travance for a few months following the disappearance of Baron Travance.
After my Father was slain by the forces of evil, the Heroes of Travance stood up and took control of Travance for the forces of good, then immediately sent word to the King of Kormyre asking for aid. Aid came in the form of Baron Inverness.
While my interactions with the Tellinghasts where less than that of my father, I had known them as an assertive force for good, and they were valuable members of the Barony. Most of them left the Barony to spread thier faith to the darkest parts of the world. Lady Tartaros and Warlord Tellinghast would know the most accurate accounting of thier history.

Earl of the Marches

As I was the one who made the initial inquiry that Master Haroldson was referring to, I thank you for your words, Your Grace.
