A Potential Lecture

A Potential Lecture was created by Sergei Petsho (Bran MacInnes)
Greetings, all,

I have been undergoing a rather specialized area of study for some time now, regarding Negative Energy beings. In specific, various agents and antigens that may prove harmful to them.

Many folk have expressed interest in the results of my findings, and as I have managed through the art and science of alchemy to create a substance both noxious and potentially fatal to most any being of a Negative Energetic nature, I am pleased to be afforded an opportunity to present my findings.

Should there be interest in such a thing, I should like to hold a small, semi-informal lecture upon the topic during the next feast. This may prove of great interest to those who follow the profession of the Witch Hunter, other survivors and former thralls of Alok Malagan such as myself, The Old Firm, and really any person who wishes to add to their own knowledge.

Should folk be uninterested, or simply too busy, I may shelve the idea and simply make myself available for personal discussions on the topic.

I hope there may be some interest, and that others may see the value of my research as a potential contribution to the seemingly eternal battle against the enemies of the living.

In Science and Progress,
Dr. Nigel Whitworth

Dr. Whitworth,

I would be more than elated to attend such a lecture. I expect to be away from Proper for an extended period, but should we ever meet once I return, I would learn if you would have me.

Dr. Whitworth,

I would be overjoyed to attend such a lecture for a number of reasons. If our schedules align, I'll try and bring some sort of pastries along.

Sincerely,

Is this the same project you took a sample of my blood for? I'm very interested to hear how it turned out!

I would be very interested in the topic as pertains its application in destroying undead and Demons.

May I offer you the use of the Annex as a lecture space? It has a podium that we can make available and would provide a quiet space for the lecture.

I would be very greatful if you would keep me informed regarding your plans on the topic.

Ms. Burdorn, it is indeed the same project that many gracious folk, including yourself have donated their blood for. The information I was able to glean from the samples has been invaluable to my work.

Templar Aldric, I should be glad of the use of your Annex. I have found that a comfortable environment is more conducive to retaining interest in a lecture, if my time at university has taught me anything.

I shall of course keep any and all interested parties updated on further developments in regards to this manner.

Lady Kleidin,

Perhaps insights and further details on how the specific vulnerabilities or strengths of demons may be overcome by the alchemical creation I have made would not go amiss as to aid the understanding of those present?

Gothi Caldor,

Though we may not share the same vernacular, know that many respect you as one of the wisest of all among Travanceans. I seek and keep your guidance in all things, as you tend to have the right idea, and are not afraid to share it with those who would listen.

That being said, I do hope that you are able to appreciate Dr. Whitworth's lecture. I maintain strong jealousy; but alas, I must away from Proper.

I would speak with you the next time we meet in Proper, now that you are no longer burdened with the Null Prison.

I look forward to your next Mass, as usual.

Be safe, and enjoy Creation anew.

Master Caldor,

I am delighted to hear you have decided to further your education. To my mind, it is one of the most important things one can do. One of my professors at university was fond of saying "when you stop learning, you start dying." While a bit of an extreme metaphor, I rather like the sentiment behind it.

I should be most glad to discuss this with you when our schedules once more align. Perhaps over a cup of tea.

Pendarvin possesses a sufficiency of cups, plus a Londwynian device for boiling water as well. If Doctor Whitworth keeps to his schedule, unlike the last time, I will be delighted to attend, so long as it does not conflict with my previous plans.

According to this, it looks like I will be able to come after all, since all of your meetings have been so late, I was never able to come. Therefore, barring one major possible scenario, I will try to come, as there are a lot of things that you may be able to help me with.
